Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

What am I supposed to do in all this? Rolls? Cause round about or not he is going to the closest exit, which is the tunnel full of allies.

You can roll for any skill you think would help navigating rough underbrush. And obviously you can move toward the tunnel exit. Just figured I'd show some of the chaos going on.

Rileng can see a few rough paths through the dense foliage and knows enough to avoid anything with spines or grasping tendrils. With his keen eyes he also spots an area with a hidden patch of quicksand and can direct everyone to avoid it.

Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

He would like to know exactly how the hell a swamp got turned into a living plant monster forest in the span of a few seconds. But all things in their own order. The first order was getting out of here. He leads the small group away from anything dangerous and makes sure to give the quick sand a good berth as well. Thankfully in a way this whole nonsense was to his advantage, less people could notice them and if anyone did then he could use it as an excuse as to why he has the prisoners out of their hut. Still considering the amount of king's sleep he had dosed the enemy camp with, this little hazard may well kill all his enemies for him. Not that he planned to remain to confirm that.

As Rileng leads his confused and weak charges, the place is chaos. Even as they dart past Rileng can see the toad-beast swallow a hysterical boggard whole. Men are pouring in, swords waving, axes slicing through the strange sudden forest.

'Intruders! Lizardfolk!' Some are shouting while others are howling [b]'Heretics!"

Still, Rileng manages to get ahead of them. Things looks good and escape getting closer...

Suddenly the toad-beast opens the vast maw, showing a vast series of razor teeth. It lets out a croak, shuddering from foot to lolling tongue. The sound drowns out everything else in the clearing, shaking man, boggard and everything in between. It fills the ear, shakes the body, attacks the very soul with it's immensity.

Fort Save please.

Inspired Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (9) + 4 + (3) = 16

You are staggered for 3 rounds

The croak echoes throughout and Rileng (along with his prisoners) let it wash over them. All seem to be jarred a little loose except for an older, broad-shoulder Ulfen man, whom Rileng had not really noticed.

Stillit slows them and a few boggards block the way, some running panic others stopping.

"Where are you taking the prisoners?!" one of them grunts. "They should be inside! It is too dangerous outside!"

The boggards voice is high and worried as the camp crashes around them. Many of the humans have also been staggered but a few are struggling through the foliage to the group.

Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

He croaks.

"Taking them some place safe. Humans around them go mad. Humans more dangerous then outside. Cover us or get out of way."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 18 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 18 + (1) = 23

He makes to move pass them, keeping a close eye in case they do something stupid. It was pass the point of no return, if the boggard wanted to get into it with him over trying to save his own skin and the prisoners, regardless of who it is for. Well he was going to gut it and be on his way regardless.

Oh you dice suck! My high mods make my point yet again.

The boggards start to move, to give way, but they are slow both from confusion and poison. Ungainly, everyone moves around in he overgrown tangle of jungle, while the toad creature rampages around, tearing up the ground and throwing whole trees.

Just as Rileng is about to get away a small group four humans bursts in, one of them being the priest. The boggards take to their heels croaking and gabbling.

The priest moves to block Rileng's way. 'Who in the name of the living God are you and where are you taking my prisoners. " his men move to grab Anson and the others.

Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

I see, these people are utterly determined to die. He points a finger at the nearest human and yells, the boggards are still close after all.

"Mad humans! Help!"

He keeps a free hand ready to unleash his weapon and his tail under the illusion finds it's way to a vial.

That's right, pick on the boggard with a bunch of boggards near by. Cause they already like you so much. >:)

The man looks more shocked then worried. 'You little.."

He draws his sword and strikes out at the disguised investigator.

You have time for one action as he strikes at you

As he does so a group of boggards pour into the tiny clearing, making everything a slippery mess of wrestling humans, boggards, prisoners, and Rileng.

CMD check to avoid being knocked over in the fracas

The ground shakes as the toad creature comes closer, mouth agape.

Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

The mutagen flows down his throat taking effect as the sword comes his way. They would see if it could stand up to his current effects along with it as well.

You didn't give me the DC for the CMD or the attack, currently his CMD is 22 and his AC is 30.

The blow swings wide, Rileng far more agile then the boggard he pretended to be. He also keeps his feet in the sliding mass of combatants. It does make rescue a bit of a pain though. Everyone is striving to get away from the toad-beast more then hurt each other, but the mud and strangling plants make it difficult.

Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

Unless the priest tries something in the chaos he takes the prisoners and leads them as best he can pass the fleeing rabble. It seemed as if everything was determined to get in the way of a few people trying to get to an unknown exit. Well the toad monster would take care of that ether way.
