Are you enjoying it though? We will be out of the swamp soon (unless that mobogo eats you).

Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

I enjoy the victory, unless I get eaten. Then I will enjoy becoming a ghost that seeks revenge and a way to resurrect himself afterwards. ;)

I just noticed something now that you let slip what that thing is. You had me make a fort save for it's ability but it's a will save. That's dirty! xP

Did you miss my post or did I forget something?

I am debating weather to continue this game.

For one thing, you just looked up the stat block for a monster after seeing the name in OOC. That isn't cool.

Also, you seem to have a less then perfect love for how I run things. Which is perfectly fine, of course, but leads to it being less then fun for both parties.

Male Tiefling Investigator (Empiricist) 7

Ah my apologies, I don't use OOC knowledge IC but a hazard of playing alot of games or for being a long time player is knowing about or having the same monster pop up so you recognize it. I only looked it up after that croak ability and you confirming my thoughts as it did not line up with my personal knowledge. So I got curious if it was a new variant or if I was wrong.

Regardless stat blocks (especially for strong/important monsters) tend to be pointless to look up. DMs rightfully alter or change them, sometimes even on the fly. Which is what I thought you did in order to target my weak save so that it was a bigger threat. I was not mad about it or anything really. I just like looking up new information. If you prefer I don't for your game then I will restrain my curiosity in the future.

As for my love of your game, I think that's a misunderstanding. Posting is horrible at getting across certain expressions. I apologize for that too. When I am enjoying a game I tend to get less formal and "joke" a little. I am not annoyed or anything with the sudden turns or challenges, I rather like them. This game makes me think and not just roll. While I admit I am no fan of the swamp, I am a fan of this climatic and "nutty" positions Rileng finds himself in.

Anyways if you feel that it's becoming to burdensome or that I am not a good fit. That's fine, we are all here for fun and DMs have to put more work then the PCs. In my opinion, so I rather not be a source of worry or annoyance. That's a disservice to your other PCs.

I'll be good with whatever you choose. Again I apologize for the misunderstanding. :)

Is Rileng in combat rounds or out of combat?

He will try first and foremost to get the prisoners safety to the hidden tunnel. Only fighting those that get in the way. Is the priest in the way?

I'd say out of combat. You still have all your buffs and whatnot, of course.

A few humans and boggards are in the way but struggling to escape. You'll have to push and shove if you just want to force your way through (or start killing them, I suppose).

Sorry about the delay, for some reason the post did not register.
