To your point Graxer...your Amulet and the Periapt both go in the neck slot...but you could effectively combine them as per the rules in pathfinder on p.553 Core Rules - Adding New Abilities, third paragraph.

As for the 4-Way split... I'm only waiting on Megan to give me the number of Black Onyx jems found in the jar to calculate their total value at 50gp each... but that will be small change compared.

The gold 4-way split with still be 50,739gp each... plus a few gold after the Black Onyx are calculated. Won't reduce the value any.

I can only ASSUME Megan has read all our Discussion posts and is ok with the 150,000gp value of the Gold Statue. But she sometimes seems to miss details in our discussion thread. She has not said no.. so spend away.

Though I must admit.. a only once a day post is kind of disheartening when we're asking for answers to questions that only get partially answered or not answered at all.

I'm only asking because you offered Damoc... but a Wand - Daylight {5ch} [1,350gp] would be nice for Ashe and he could pay Damoc back quickly. You might even consider buying a full wand of Daylight for Damoc... 6,000gp, in which case don't bother buying Ashe's. Its a useful enough spell and Pathfinder loves to debuff the party with darkness effects.

I don't think the authors had considered what folks might do with unholy statues, but hey, why not... it was supposed to be at least life-size and gold, so a bit of number-crunching based on an average human gave the weight... so if you lot decide to melt it down, that's up to you. Ashe has two scrolls of it.. but I do have enough cash to afford a 750gp wand. It still is not something we could use in combat due to casting time. And IF we decided to cast it out of combat... Ashe has time to prepare it anyways. Its 1st level for a paladin... but also it is only 750gp as a wand for Ashe.

Ok Damoc ive spent your gold for you, but first off a few things.. You need to be useing your physical enhancement from transmutation.. Your up to a +2 to 1 physical score.. With the belt i bought for you put it too dex.. Second is a question, It seems you are leaning towards more of a melee guy right?

I Really HATE this item... Jingasa of the Fortunate Soldier...
Its Sooo cheesy and EVERYONE takes one! No one item should be that universally useful! I'll never use one unless I'm playing a Tien character.

But as a suggestion Graxer have you considered the Rod of Lesser Selective? I think that might be more useful than an Extend rod considering the number of melee fighters we have?

The Jingasa is a nice item, but i wouldnt call it broken.. The lesser selective would be nice.. Maybe dump the empower and have 6k more to spend.. I put that list together quickly so im sure there are some things that would be more optimal.. I suppose he could use that extra 6k to up his belt to a +4str one..

At some point Damco you might wanna consider taking opposition research to get your Enchantment school back.. Herosim is a great spell for gish type characters..

Well if I must cast for those two.. not that either of them have bad characters but I was really interested in seeing what Nalita Lakatos would bring to the table... but he's not posted or anything.

I'll go for the Cleric of Desna... because I'd STILL like to have a female to balance the party genderwise somewhat better.

However, Megan did say we could pick two...why not admit both? They seem willing to RP and post.. so invite both is my opinion.

Hi! I'm Harakani, player of Ebon Wings.

I was going for a Shaman-type build for Ebon Wings, and vacillated between a Witch and a Druid. In the end I was seduced by the druid's reincarnation and spiritual themes... unfortunately it did mean I picked a feat he no longer qualifies for. I said I'd talk rebuild if I got picked, so here I am...

why not a shaman:
The Shaman ACG playtest seemed to end with a "this class should be rebuilt", so I'm reluctant to use it knowing that in a little while it will be radically different

Also, I am happy to talk about what needs to change on the character to fit in with the group. Now that there are two high divine casters I can see we will need to differentiate ourselves a little (we both built characters that fill the same niche) but don't want to jam into someone else's.

I would really like Ebon Wings to be able to see spirits, which to me suggests (in order) See Invisibility, Deathwatch, Arcane Sight and See Alignment.

While theoretically possible to permanency these spells via scroll, this means the character would need an enormous UMD.

Craft Wondrous item would allow such items to be built - not sure if that halves cost.

I really like the idea of it being part of the character, and considering he can come back from the dead the permanency seems like it might be a good way to go.

Craft Wonderous DOES 1/2 price in game and would be a huge cash saver to whole party.

I like the theme and besides being able to spot things, doesn't increase your power at all.

HOWEVER!!

There is a really easy fix that is 100% raw.

Play a Menhir Savant Druid archetype.

They get Spirit Sense
At 1st level, a menhir savant can detect the presence of undead; fey; outsiders; and astral, ethereal, or incorporeal creatures. This ability functions like detect undead, and the druid detects all of these creatures rather than trying to detect one kind. This ability replaces nature sense and wild empathy.

Sounds exactly like the ability you were after.

I would love to, but it isn't compatible with the Reincarnated archetype - they clash on Woodland Stride's swap out (Mysterious Stranger and Place Magic respectively) . Probably wouldn't take that much to convince me to change. Would happily pay a feat to do it.

We are at a level where we can bring you back if you die.

Can't permanency True Seeing - it's not on the list.

@Varrel: "Cheat Death". Was sort of the core of the concept. I'd like there to be something that says "Pharasma sends you back to finish the job".
That said, maybe there is another way because Menhir Savant is so tempting.

I take your point that getting a power that is explicitly useful in the event of a TPK is a bit defeatist.

I was looking at [url=http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/arg-feats/tenacious-survivor-orc-half-orc]Tenacious Survivor[/ooc]. Requires external healing (which maybe I can get my Nosoi to hand out) but does allow genuine "back from the dead" if necessary.
Means He'd have to have come back in the body of a Half-Orc though, I think. Could get Endurance via a racial feat, then just need to buy Diehard. Add a reskinned Fey Foundling for the Death resistance and bonus healing.
Could change Birthmark to Reincarnated.
If doing that I'm going to need more Con, but seems like a viable build... though if my I'm primarily ranged I'd hope not to take the hit in the first place!

Or, as you said, just treat it as flavour.

The Permanency list is not and end all to what you can do.. Just costs an ass load to do something like true seeing.. Read the last line of the spell..

Bane Baldric is never a bad idea.. Theres a couple pairs of gloves that arent bad for magus's.. A ring thats not to bad either..
