I do very little, I merely walk the path fate has laid out for me. I give myself fully to the fates, and they punish those that would stand against me. Again, the girl speaks cryptically. It seems as though she is completely unaware that she is doing so. A skill either perfectly practiced, or completely unintentional.

Amelia catches the mans eyes roaming her body and shifts her hips, spinning lightly on her heels accentuating her figure as she spins for him. I assume I meet your qualifications then? she replies, her innocent voice and smile striking utterly contrary to her actions only a moment ago.

The girl stairs at the rags in disgust, grimacing as she has to touch it to her skin. "I'll be adding the cost of a bath to my expenses." She thinks to herself, inhaling the toxic gas for the first time, "Make that two!" She shudders violently as she follows after the men. Happy to know they aren't watching her writhe in disgust.

The mongrelman points across the chamber towards a ladder that leads to a walkway above...

If you recall the original description, this chamber occupies a whole side of the building, from the cellar level below up to the roof high above. Seven iron vats, each ten feet across, occupy the majority of the room. Furnaces fuel the vats at cellar level, while at the ground floor level a series of planks have been laid across the vats to allow passage to a ladder that leads to an iron walkway on the level above. Two ladders also allow access from the planks to the floor below. The air in the chamber is cloying and acidic.

You will have to make your way across the planks to get to the ladder. They are at a height of about 15 feet or so above the floor of the chamber, level with the entrance from the yard you've come in by. The planks between the vats are 10 inches wide and a DC 10 Acrobatics check is required to cross them. (I shall be kind, and just ask for a single check to get you over to the ladder.)

Amelia will wait to cross the planks last, her grace as she glides across without fear or hesitation only accentuates the sway in her every step.

The rogue walks around the planks with ease; a true testament to his elven heritage.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 And Barret falls into the vats and becomes the joker...

Ooops. Oh dear, poor Barret. You have fallen into a vat of bleach! You take 1d6 points of acid damage per round of immersion, and must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or be blinded for 1d6 minutes. Climbing out of the vats requires a DC 25 Climb check.

So, you take 1d6 ⇒ 6 points of damage, and need to scramble out. If you fail, you will take more damage. (It would have been worse if you'd fallen into a vat of acid, believe me!)

Dillan quickly removes the rope from his pack and begins lowering it down to Barret, "Grab the rope!" He pauses and turns to the rest on the pathway, "I might need some help hauling him up." Then brings his attention back to Barret and lowering the rope to him.

Having just managed to meneuver across himself, Sorin turns and adds, "I'll help you Dillan!"
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
I'll establish a life link to Barret too in case we have trouble getting him out.

Dillan - DC20 Strength Check to haul him up, please. There's enough room for one other person to assist... if they can get there. Is that you, Sorin? Or are you busy with your life link?
