Today, at 5:30pm or so, when my wife and I go to our Thursday night dinner restaurant, we are picking up our almost 3 year old grand daughter there and will return her to my daughter and son-in-law on Sunday afternoon. She will be staying with us at the campground. Since both my wife and I are in our mid to late 60s, when we put her to bed around 8:00pm, we will probably have a quick glass of wine or a beer and go to bed ourselves !
At her age, she is a dynamo of energy. So if I don't do updates till Monday, that is the reason, sheer exhaustion. I think that I will be able to, but I am just not sure....
If Elektra had taken a five foot step toward the barn, she would have gotten everyone on her initiative. Close enough. Go for it, but it is something to keep in mind in the future.

Just a point people, your horses will not attack a ghoul, only mine.
I trained him with a second attack trick.
Attack (DC 20): The animal attacks apparent enemies. You
may point to a particular creature that you wish the animal
to attack, and it will comply if able. Normally, an animal
will attack only humanoids, monstrous humanoids,
giants, or other animals. Teaching an animal to attack all
creatures (including such unnatural creatures as undead
and aberrations) counts as two tricks.
I was reading someone's Kingmakers Campaign posts. In it he talks about how no PC was killed, but horses was another thing.
In the American Civil War the Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest had 29 horses shot out from under him during the course of the war. It may have been a good thing that he bred horses for a living prior to the war.
With the exception of Abacus and possibly Shadowmist, horses will become more and more vulnerable as time progresses. The third and fourth chapters are very travel heavy.
Wife and I have lawn tickets and are going to Tanglewood to see a James Taylor concert. It is supposed to stop raining by 6pm so we will only get a little soaked before the concert and fireworks afterwards. Won't get back to the camper till after midnight, so no more posting for me today.
Sorry if I'm spotty over the next few days. I was treated for chest pains, which thankfully turned out not to be any kind of heart attack, but still recovering, and just plain exhausted.
If you want to craft any items, please note what you need in order to craft the item, cost, materials, spells known, CL, time, DCs etc. in your request. It would be appreciated.
You would need to go to Magnimar for that. Sandpoint is limited in magic weapons and armor. Originally, the party was heading to Magnimar before the Ghoul problem.
Yeah! Like that. That works well. It does two things, it saves me a lot of time looking it all up. And two, it gets the player more invested in the process. Thanks!
Concert was GREAT !! Wife enjoyed all student orchestra and singing, while I slept in my lawn chair, and we both enjoyed the tribute to Frank Sinatra (Old Blue Eyes at 100) and then finally the 1812 Overture and then Fireworks.
A Great Day was had by both of us, but a tiring day. We did not get back to the camper till after midnight.

So I was wondering what it would take to set up a Sashimono ?
AKA a back banner, and would this meet the requirement of being properly displayed for the abilities of my Banner class ability ?
Quote:
Banner wrote: Banner (Ex): At 5th level, a cavalier’s banner becomes a symbol of inspiration to his allies and companions. As long as the cavalier’s banner is clearly visible, all allies within 60 feet receive a +2 morale bonus on saving throws against fear and a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls made as part of a charge. At 10th level, and every five levels thereafter, these bonuses increase by +1. The banner must be at least Small or larger and must be carried or displayed by the cavalier or his mount to function.
Tomorrow Sunday 30 August around12:00, the other grandparents are bringing our three year old granddaughter to the camper and after lunch they are leaving her here. Our kids are on an "adult" vacation to Punta Cana, and won't be back till Saturday 5 September around 17:00. And then on Sunday 6 September we are all going to the Columbia County, NY, Fair.
As last time we had her, I may be slow on posting, because of being exhausted, but I will try to keep up. Bot me if needed.

To say pbp is difficult at times would be an understatement. Ftf is so much easier. You don't have these kinds of issues. In Round Three you have first initiative. You make your acrobatics move and take out the second Goblighast. In the Goblighast's turn, they move on Garrath and attack. Garrath gets an AoO on the third Goblighast as it negotiates the just fallen Goblighast 2. Garrath misses his AoO with an 18. You needed a 20. Goblighast 4 hit you twice. Goblighast 3 hit you with every attack. 2 saves from 4 and 4 saves from 3, totalling six saves. All this occurred in Round Three.
Goblin 3 got two claws and a bite, 3 attacks, where's the 4th? Not arguing, just trying to figure this out out of curiosity more than anything else.
With a bite, you are required two saves, one for Paralysis and another one for the Ghoul Fever. Only the bite carries the fever. All attacks carry the Paralysis.
AH! Okay, I didn't catch that the bite delivered both. Rolled three more fort saves after that, so that should cover with two extra at this point, I think.
Was the attack from Skinsaw on Garrath an Attack of Opportunity? I stated he was skirting around the room, so that he was never within 5' of him until he attacked. The roll for acrobatics was to avoid the double move through the difficult terrain from the dead ghoul. Can't tell from the description, but in round 3 he takes all three of his attacks on Iesha, then gets another on Garrath, so I'm assuming it's an AOO.
