Ok, I believe I've got it now. I just need approval on enchantments known.


It's good now, and I approve the two enchantments known. They both will be weak (not like it'll matter with the soul trap, though), but they can grow in power with time, if you decide to train the enchant school when the game starts up. You can also learn more enchantments if you manage to find any enchanted gear, but that will also be for when the game starts up. I will just assume that Mikhail learned those two enchantments as some point in his life, as well as where he learned magic. If you want to go into further details about that, it's fine, but you don't have to be overly descriptive about it.

With Mikhail accepted, that leaves TWO SLOT STILL OPEN! Get it while it's still hot, people!

So magical skills are explained a bit. Thanks for accepting me. I've been looking for a game for quite a bit now.


So, do we keep waiting for two spots or work with the four we've recruited?


What I've decided is that I will wait a week from tomorrow if the spots aren't filled by then, and start with the four already accepted with the spots still available to be filled when applicants come. I can work with four people for the time being, and tweak some later events should the number remained unchanged.

Alright, good to see you two popping in, but here's how I want to do the headcount: I want each of you to send me a PM with your alias telling me what time of day you'll be most available tomorrow, as well as any last-minute questions you might have for me. I'm actually working a longer shift today, so I won't be able to answer them right away, but I will get to them before the game starts tomorrow.


Judging from what I've gathered from all of your PMs, it seems like starting this evening would be best. I will attempt to start the game around 5:00 Central Standard Time, which, for reference, is about six hours from now.

Yup, the game is now open! Please, introduce your characters to each other outside the door, maybe mention how they even got there, what they may have been doing before, and so on. The next step after that is to walk inside and out of that blistering cold!

Physical Description: Tall, wispy in appearance. Stout and strong in presentation, Dark skinned and dour demeanor. Prominent pointy ears and dagger like chin. Long Dark hair with a blue tint like the foam of the sea.
Personality: Worships many Deadric gods most especially Nocturna. Dour Demeanor and Dark notions. Killing people is much easier than asking permission. Death is a part of life, why not joke about it...at least a little. Why is everyone at the Dark Brotherhood so...down...killing is fun. Pensive and reclusive.
Back-story: Born out of wedlock to unknown parents who died in bringing him closer to the capitol of Skyrim, Winterhold (During the reign of the Snow Elves it was the capitol so that is all the Sea Elves would know). There he was taken in by the bar keep of The Frozen Hearth, Eirid, and attended the College of Winterhold. Favoring Illusion magic, and sneaking away from his other duties, he found a deep friendship with a Mage studying Necromancy in private. He was asked by his new friend to help him with his studies (never becoming very in to the art himself). It started with filling crystals with the souls of animals. Than he was asked to get more power for his Dunmer friend. He was asked to fill a black soul Gem. Knowing what this meant he darkened in his joviality setting into task his new duty, revitalize the ancient art that was foolishly shunned by the college. The man he had his sight set on was a traveler that was getting drunk at his old home, the tavern, again. With a dagger enchanted with Soul Trap, he came up to his helpless victim passed out in the cellar of the inn. Stabbing him through the heart from behind, he obtained the power for the black soul gem for his Dunmer friend. Hatori Hanzo and his friend were found out and banished from the school. Wandering from his only known home in Winterhold, finally finding rest in a small Coastal town of Dawn star. Crashing hard in the cellar of the inn. He awakes to find a hooded figure in his room. Inviting him to join a brotherhood of stealthy throat slashers...A wry smirk comes across his face. He is presented with the challenge of killing one of three people presented to him. After hearing about what each had to say, standing at the side of one on the end of this small line but next to the dark figure, he asked his new hooded friend, "Aren't you going to kill them all anyway?" Taken aback slightly but nodding anyway the man stood still. Hatori Hanzo took out his bow silently and shot three arrows, one after another, each hitting an unsuspecting head and the next traveling past the falling victim toward the next. And so he starts his journey in this Dark Brotherhood.
Equipment: Deadric Dagger, Elvish Bow a few simple arrows and nothing else.

Have some damn patience, will you? I do not have the time nor the priority of interests to dissect your character right now, and I don't need you constantly posting in this thread until you get something you're satisfied with. Just right now, your character is not accepted, and he must be one of the ten core races, as per the rules I posted in the OP. This means no Maomer.


Alright, now for the dissection. First and foremost, the backstory makes it sound like you want your character to be ancient, which I can find no justification for it anywhere within the backstory. As stated in the OP, this is meant to take 50 years after the events of Skyrim, so there would be no reason to believe Winterhold is the capital; it would be common knowledge that it's Solitude. Also, there would be no test like what Astrid gave in Skyrim; initiation would simple be to kill someone else as ordered by the Speaker, like how Rufio was in Oblivion. Therefore, there would not be the three tied up targets in a secluded shack that you were dragged to in your sleep. Also last, but not least, I would need some serious justification for having a Daedric dagger in his possession, as those are not supposed to be very easy to come by, seeing as they are literally made in the realm of Oblivion, not on the mortal plane.
