A question for you guys unrelated to this RP. Are any of you familiar with the Burning Wheel roleplaying system?
I've heard of it, but have never played a game using it.

Hmm, well at least you've heard of it :) It's a level-less & classless system which uses a dice pool mechanic for resolution. Advancement is a bit unusual too. I've been considering running a PbP game using it on here and figured I'd see if anyone had heard of it and/or was interested in it :)

Nazard is in Nova Scotia. Their Thanksgiving was on October 8th this year.
In the U.S.A. it's on November 22nd this year.
In Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving to give thanks for food and a bountiful harvest.
In the U.S.A, they celebrate Thanksgiving to give thanks for a good NFL football season.
At least, that's how those of us up north like to look at it.

Oh, I know that American game is not really football.
Real football has four downs in it, a bigger field, and puts the goal posts at the back of the end zone instead of the front, so you have to kick your field goals farther (also known as Canadian football)!
I beg to disagree... REAL FOOTBALL is what people in the USA and Canada call "soccer"...

Well, for anyone who's interested in looking at Burning Wheel, I'm taking a stab at running a PbP of it. It's probably going to be pretty slow to get going however, as not too many people seem to know the system on the forums here (that or they're not interested/don't trust me to run it :p)

Oh, it was a free one I'd gotten at a conference a couple years ago. Just 1GB. I just grabbed the one I'd gotten at the conference this past year, wiped all the junk off it, and started using it. The only problem is this one is bright green and doubles as a rubber wrist band, with a golden star sticker on the top (gotta love drama teachers). I'll have to be extra careful, as it'll make a much more tempting target than the other one ever was!
No, the biggest loss was a huge bit of exposition on a new adventure I'm working on. I had all the wording exactly as I wanted it. Fortunately, I was able to reconstitute it well enough that I actually like it better now! :)

I apologize for my lack of posts; this is production week for my play, so things are hectic! I'm also taking a few days off at the end of next week. I'll post when I can, but on Veteran's Day, I'll be good to go :)

I wrapped up my leave and vacation about two weeks ago and got thrown back into a normal schedule and neglected a handful of internet places I frequent, spending time with the wife and seeing friends and family. Am I replaced yet?
Hey there! No, not replaced, just botted.
The group fought the summoner's minions first, then some Varisians that crashed the party. Rasil has been blinded, and Koraq was coup de graced, but passed his fort save exactly and lived. Issceran currently has expeditious retreat on. The group just incapacitated the invisible Varisian spell caster. In addition, the group stopped the jeweler's shop from collapsing over the side of the cliff, where it likely would have seriously damaged a few city blocks if warren-style dwellings in Lowcleft, saving hundreds of lives.
All in all, an interesting night's work.
My work here is done...? :D
