Round 2 Recap

Mazra will move up and give the Grick a poke. His weapon bites into its flesh.

Tamiro's attack pierces the creature's strange flesh and silvery blood covers his blades. However, the creature seems to pay no mind to the attack and its wounds quickly knit together.

The creature turns its bite to Nel, the inner jaw lunging forward to grab on to her shoulder. It manages to dig its teeth past her armor, leaving a strange circular wound and 3 points of damage.

It then turns its array of tentacles on Tamiro, but his armor is too tough and the creature's limbs cannot find good purchase.

Nel continues to move around the grick, as she brings her sword down in a mighty blow against the monster. "Let's keep the pressure on them. We out number them, so we should prevail." As her weapon cuts deeply, Nel watches as the beast begins to restitch some of the damage.

"That one in the pool is really creeping me out. It's jut sitting there staring at me while we butcher its buddy." Pluck grabs his dagger and tries to skewer the one gnawing on Tamiro. The dagger falls short, crashing into the ground and tumbling for a bit before landing next to the pool.

Tamiro swings into the one trying to gnaw on him. His katana bites deeply into the aberration, though it does not make as much of a wound as he was expecting.

Ianez taps Tamiro with his wand. "I'll keep you patched up!"

The grick in the pool swims to the shore and begins to assault Nel. However, the angle is awkward and its flurry of tentacles and deep bite misses.

Walking around the pool, the tunnel takes a sharp turn to the right, before suddenly opening into a small cave. This cavern appears to have been recently enlarged at the east end, where a massive, curving stone carving protrudes from the floor, wall, and ceiling. It is covered in runes that appear strangely familiar, and it appears that some of them have been chipped away. A table nearby holds several stoneworking tools and a thin book.

An Elven woman with dark purple skin and silvery white hair stands at the worktable, carefully packing up some samples of stone. She wears a beautifully crafted chain shirt and carries a strangely crafted crossbow with two slender blades attached to it. Two bloated creatures move boxes from one end of the cave to another. Several remains of shattered boxes litter the floor.

"Mi vidas ni havas gastojn. Ĝoja, konscia, bonvolu prizorgi ilin," the woman says with a cold smile as she puts down her samples and draws her crossbow.

Knowledge (Planes) DC 12:
These demons are known as Dretch, rather weak demons that are often the first creatures an dabbling summoner brings forth. They are as cruel as they are foul, and, like most demons, are resistant to attacks unless the weapon is cold iron or good.
