No worries about the Bless, GM, I wasn't trying to complain or wanting to retcon, I had meant to ask earlier...for future reference, I also forgot to mention that, as a Sniper, I have Accuracy and all of my range penalties are halved...

Jawhar sorry if I worded it backwards but the reason for the 5ft step was so she could drink the potion and draw another..sorry if I messed the order up. but no AoO for the bird on Melkorka but it can use that roll for an AoO it's going to get on brown.

Myth fires two successive shots at the purple shadowlodge warrior. The first ends up short but, the 2nd hit's the purple warrior in the stomach he looks shocked as he drops his bow and the vial of liquid, and then he crumples to the ground. Brown seeing his buddy go down 5ft steps back he drops his sword and draws a potion provoking attack of opportunity from Red sword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7dmg: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 both red and the bird miss the heavily armored warrior as he drinks it and heals up a bit cure lt: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Orange seeing red so close fires at point blank range. L bow: 1d20 + 6 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 6 - 1 + 1 = 19dmg: 1d8 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 + 1 = 7

Yellow action:

Analia's magical onslaught proves too much for Melkorka and she falls. Eventually with the aid of the Snowmask warriors your group overwhelms the shadowlodge warriors. No quarter is asked or given as the Kellids finish off each of the shadowlodge warriors without mercy, including Melkorka. In the end Hiryla lifts Jedrak's Shard high over his head and shouts in triumph at the victory.

Hiryla ask, We should block this canyon to discourage other relic hunters from entering our lands. Will you assist us?

Later

After searching the bodies for important documents and treasure, you are escorted back to the Snowmask clans village. It is apparent a large celebration is being prepared for tomorrow. Jedrak's Shard is presented reverently to the elders by Hiryla and is returned to him almost instantly by the same group. "it seems fitting that the chief our clan should wield our most prized an ancient relic."

"As for our guest, we appreciate all your help. What will you do now? ask Temya the venerable elder.

OK need to know if you ask for or insist on taking Jadrek's Shard. Will go with majority rules here.

Craggark spends some time trying to sculpt a likeness of Jedrak's Shard out of clay before leaving the Snowmasks. It might be useful for the report. He also thinks he might reproduce it and try to sell one or two copies of it.

"Hey! This sculpture of mine turned out passable, I think!" Craggark exclaims to Lia, showing her his artistic rendering of the Kellid artefact.

GM, we resolved an encounter - I think - in this scenario via Perception checks and taking a different route - the canyon encounter. One of my tick-boxes for my Faction (The Exchange) requires me to "resolve a combat encounter nonviolently through...another tactic". Can I tick my Faction box off for that? Otherwise, I'm going to have to set up some form of a merchant line with the Snowmasks.

"I think it is very well done. You really are coming along with your sculpting." Lia adds with an admiring look at the sculpture.

She looks to the Snowmasks hovering nearby and smiles.

"I am glad we came here. They really are quite nice, once you get to know them."

Turning wistful, she stares off into the sky, her eyes growing unfocused.

"I regret that once we get back to Absalom, they may split us up for a time. I am sure it won't be long though, so don't get that look I know you have on right now..."

With a small grin, she lowers her head to the snow beneath her feet.

"I will even miss the snow. They don't have snow in Absalom, do they? Even if they do, I am sure it's not like it is here. Oh well, there is no sense in missing something till it's gone. On that note, I suppose we should start the long journey back, and maybe, just maybe, it will be fun this time. I seem to remember what that is somewhat and I would like to try it out again, you know, just to be sure I like it."

Hiryla reluctantly hands over the Jedrak's Shard for study. The Snowmaskclan gratefully accepts your help, blocking the canyon. Your task is accomplished by, causing several avalanches. A large celebration is held and you are all made honorary members of the Snowmask clan. Furthermore, it is made clear that all Pathfinders will be given safe passage through Snowmask clan territory, from this point forward. It is declared that, the Grand Lodge has become an eternal ally, among the Snowmask people. To cement their new alliance, a pipe of some strong hallucinogenic weed is passed around, with all expected to take at least a small drag.

Months later, one or more of you; run in to Rognvald Skagni, (in Venture Captian Drendle Drang's office) where you learn:the Shadow Lodge’s power in the north lies in shambles, its influence nearly eradicated..thanks in most part..to your group's efforts.

This Concludes Part III of the Shades of Ice Trilogy: Keep of the Huscarl King. Until our next mission Pathfinders.
