At the start, up to you whether you wish to post here, as you may not survive long enough to make the Final Five. :)

Dot.

Have you made a "campaign" for this game yet? If you could, it would be nice to only have to check one place for game updates.

Good luck folks!

Yes, Emilian, posted both links in recruitment thread. All have been linked too.

Dotting to follow this one. Love that first post, Lucendar...its gonna be a doozy for them!

Thanks Gerald! Too coward to join? LOL..

Hell yeah, I have enough trouble keeping characters alive when you aren't trying to kill them, DM, lol!

dotting for interest. Didn't get my submission done in time, but I want to see how this goes!

Dotting plus one question: how far is the tournament ground from the cells ?

Edited 100' away, already said in the thread game.

Taking bets on first death?

The Exchange

Good luck Lucendar, I can't wait for the fighting to start and to see what you have in store for them.

I followed your recruitment thread all week and it was classic. i am rooting for the "good" guys.

Cheers

Thank you for your support!!!

Wait, define "good". Good at what exactly?

Thanks French Wolf. I just thought of all the recruitment threads where I have to reject good applications and thought what about if I don't have to and the players can choose their fates. It just happens it was about the same time Hunger Games movie and Way of the Wicked came out, as well as other inspirations, and it all fell into place.

Been saving my Running Man quotes until this thinkg officially kicked off:

[Ben had just killed Subzero]
Ben Richards: [to Damon] Hey, Killian! Here's Subzero! Now... plain zero!
Damon Killian: [sadly] Ladies and Gentlemen, this is... just horrible. Words can't express what we're all feeling at this very moment. A great champion has fallen. We'll be back right after these important messages.

________________________________________________

Ben Richards: [after strangling Sub-Zero with barbed wire)] What a pain in the neck.
________________________________________________

Amber: [after Richards cut Buzzsaw in half with a chain saw] What happened to Buzzsaw?
Ben Richards: He had to split.

LOL...Arnold was awesome for the cheesy quotes. Take Commmando, for example. "I let him go." (after dropping a guy he was holding in one arm off a cliff); Eraser - "He caught a train." (after the bad guy's limo at the end gets hit by a freight train)

Female Tiefling Rogue (Sniper)

Good luck to everyone. Whatever happens, I can't wait to see who survives this.

Loving all the alliances being made!

Just to make things interesting.....

GM:

GO TEAM EVIL!

Girls and boys, it seems that the arena is too small for all of us. I believe I have counted already 4 people trying to keep 10 foot distance from anyone else. If we continue like this we'll need a much bigger arena, for sure...or much less players ;-)

Male Half-Orc Per: +2 Init: +2; HP 7/9; AC 15/15/12; F: +4 R: +5 W: +5

So, 18 enter, 5 leave. No matter what alliances are made during the preliminaries, 13 of us are going to die within the next 15 minutes. Good luck to everyone.

Wow, I really dropped the ball on this one. Over 40 posts already. D:

I posted a map to help with the visual depiction.

You know the real thing to fear is if you try to sleep :)

Btw thanks for setting participant's paranoia and suspicions with those introductions Lucendar.

Those 5ft squares or 10ft?

5 ft, posted a closer view.

Off to sleep guys, cya all in the morning. Try not to kill me while I sleep, will ya? ;-)

I don't envy you, Lucendar, trying to figure out exactly how this will resolve.

Per: +0 Init:+0 HP: 16/16 AC: 10/10/10 F: +4 R: +0 W: +2

Remember Team Sprinter is recruiting! You too can join this diverse (we have a dwarf druid!) organization!

Male Human(Ulfen) Barbarian/2 Per:+6 Init:+3 HP19/26(30/30) AC: 20/12/18 F:+7(+9) R:+4(+6) W:+2(+4)

The biggest problem is team sprinter are also basically "team greater of two evils" since team zon-kuthon is another evil option and at least they are slightly predictable.

Basically Team Letalljustgetalonguntilwehavetokilleachother is the best option, if your looking for a safe place to avoid random violence.

But then again who the hell wants to avoid random violence, i'm on the wrong damn team!

Male Half-Orc Per: +2 Init: +2; HP 7/9; AC 15/15/12; F: +4 R: +5 W: +5

Don't forget about team ISpeakGoblin.

Male Human(Ulfen) Barbarian/2 Per:+6 Init:+3 HP19/26(30/30) AC: 20/12/18 F:+7(+9) R:+4(+6) W:+2(+4)

Team i speak goblin is probably the best bet, they are mostly small sized and good at stealth. I would put my money on the sneaky bastards, if i had any money. Hell i'd bet the shirt off my back, if i had a shirt on my back...

Per: +4 Init:+8 HP -4/11 AC: 14/14/10 F: +3 R: +6 W: +0

It's pretty simple. Most of you are going to die. The ones on our team are simply less likely to. Think of us less as Team Evil, and more as Team Pro-Active... Strategically proactive, though.

Certainly, it shouldn't be evil to kill to save your own life. Heck, what I'm doing is self defense!

Male Human(Ulfen) Barbarian/2 Per:+6 Init:+3 HP19/26(30/30) AC: 20/12/18 F:+7(+9) R:+4(+6) W:+2(+4)

I'm all for killing to stay alive, i'm more of a wait until someone is already wounded and finish them off type though. All i can see your plan resulting in is you getting wounded when everyone piles onto you then you five foot stepping back onto the stones, unless everyone who has already made the stones just lines up behind you to smile and wave so you can't 5ft step through them.

Per: +0 Init:+0 HP: 16/16 AC: 10/10/10 F: +4 R: +0 W: +2

Whoa whoa whoa... how are we greater of two evils? Cirnos is a victim of misrepresentation, unholy tyrant and embodiment of pure evil is straying from the real picture. He is a man of core values and principles. A family man!

Plus isn't it better to be on the team of a tyrant?

For all of you, please put your initiative bonuses in your profile under the race or class/level tab so I don't have to click on your profile (the way Cirnos has it). It gets really annoying really quickly.

Per: +0 Init:+0 HP: 16/16 AC: 10/10/10 F: +4 R: +0 W: +2

See! Even the GM agrees that Cirnos is an example to be followed!

That's debatable. I'm rooting more for the team don'tgetyourselfkilledbutletotherskilleachotherbecauseitsfuntowatch.

My objective: keep the hell out of dodge.

AC 20, touch 11, flat-footed 19; Fort +5, Ref +1, Will +2; Max HP: 14, Current HP: 14

Lucendar, I know it would probably be unwieldly, but could you post a picture of the map with everybody visible?

More for my idle curiosity than anything.

I'm trying to avoid that, but it doesn't seem likely.

What? My idle curiosity? ;)

I only ask for such a map, because I need to know if Emilian could even move to help without leaving himself one to getting surrounded by the various evil ones.

Male Human(Ulfen) Barbarian/2 Per:+6 Init:+3 HP19/26(30/30) AC: 20/12/18 F:+7(+9) R:+4(+6) W:+2(+4)

Time for some sleep, i'll post my combat actions first thing when i get up once Orthrik has acted so we can deal with Team Sprinter...

Hopefully rage charge flank two handed shield death will put team sprinter off, that entangle is going to be a pain though. What plants grow in this prison area btw? i don't really like the idea of being entangled by moss, it might be so comfy Menas doesn't want to get out of it.

Lucendar,

I had a rules question for you and submitted it via PM. I think its Justified's move and I have told you want I want to do if its acceptable.

Good morning everyone, I see that bloodletting has begun...nice. I'm all day outside of the office, but I'll have my iPad with me, so I will not be able to post much inthe way of descriptions, but will try to post at least most necessary things like saves and such. Anyway, Haterivet will follow the lead of Varos, so feel free to assume actions on my behalf, if needed. Aaaaah, who am I kidding, i'll be checking this thread every 5 mins. Like a horny teenager waiting for a girl to call :-D

This, ladies and gentleman, is called Irony.

In all fairness, that was a bold risk that just didn't play out in the end. But thank you for making things interesting Hollander.

Hoho, Team TRUE EVIL is laughing their ass off! We will prevail :D

Let´s see how this will develope. and Hat, mhm, will try to lead your guy as best as I can to not get us killed

You are right about that. I truly thought with everyone meandering toward the stones so slowly I would have an opportunity to take a pot shot at least at one before stepping back to safety. Alas, the odd mechanics of massive PbP PVP did me in. Missing out on that first round, somehow, squished me. Crappy init didn't help.

I'll try to stabalize, but I expect no mercy.

Good luck to the rest of you, especially the "Dark Knight" and Stormborn.

Hollander, since everything was happening simultaneously, while you guys were discussing your plans, people were moving toward the tournament grounds. Only fair way to do it was initiative, since you guys did not announce your plans to attack until after the Salu-Othrik fight started. Bad initiative roll did you in. Also, a future lesson for all: do not leave safe ground when you have no armor (14 AC) and there a bunch of bodybuilders with weapons around you!

M Human Lore Warden (Fighter 7): HP 70/70 AC: 19/13/16 F: +6 R: +5 W: +2 (3 vs fear), Per: +7 Init:+3)

If readied actions were allowed, or if I had known they were not from the beginning Stormborn might not have gotten his entangle off. Hard to disrupt spell casting without a ready. Sorta funny that everyone (so far) has made their saves. Some pretty good saves really.

Just to clarify, the DM told me my ready would not work after I told him that was my action, and allowed me to change the action. But it was late and I needed to crash. It was my turn and I did not want to hold up the game. I was sorta hoping that Kazmuk also did not know we were not using ready actions, but no such luck. Somehow he knew. Maybe he had tried to ready. In all sorta a wasted turn for me, so I wanted to explain my rational.

Also Team Evil could have made another ally out of me with the right response. This guy does indeed make friends fast. Instead Kazmuk's action resulted the second kill. Not sure to give credit for Hollander's kill to Quain or the druid.

Nice swing by the way Quain. :)
