You bet. Definitely planning on going again next year. Expect me to be at Arsenal on Wednesday and then GMing and some playing in the main PFS hall the rest of the weekend. I ran 6 sessions of First Steps this year and I'll volunteer for the same next year. Played in the other 4 slots. I think I might volunteer to GM the Special too. I played with my family (which was cool), but ran into an unprepared GM (which was not).

Yep, unprepared GMs are the bane of every Living event. I ran into that during one of the games I played in - nothing breaks the mood like a GM with a lack of confidence.
I don't really do much with PFS, though I've got a few friends who are big in it - I spent most of my Con below you in the Heroes of Rokugan room. Maybe we can work out some sort of exchange program...hrm...

Cons have been pretty new for me. First one was GenCon three years ago. Now have three GenCons, 1 DragonCon and a PaizoCon under our belts. That's after gaming since the late 70s with none :) We do a lot of PFS. I run a regular game every Sunday and my son runs a table if we have enough players.

The path was developed for six 3.5 PCs...that's approximately equivalent to five PF PCs, using my patented WAG method of judging things. Four would be pushing it, and we'd probably need to be powergaming to have a good chance of success. Should we get moving on the story for now, but recruit for a fifth?

You know, between the lot of us, we probably know some pretty strong players in other PbPs. Want to see about one of those?
Perhaps Mark Sweetman? Gerald and I game with him in other games and one of the games where he is a player (Smoke and Shadow) seems to be on permanent hiatus. I know a few others if Mark isn't interested.
I'm fine if Lucendar would rather recruit openly too. I didn't realize the 3.5 guidelines though so it would make sense to me to add one more.

That's what I assume, at least. Shackled City was built for six, and I suspect that trend continued into Age of Worms and Savage Tide. Besides, the more, the merrier, I say!
Okay, we have 4 applicants on the discussion thread: rogue, alchemist, ranger, and witch. If anyone feels strongly to any of the concepts one way or the other, pm me. If not, I will make my choice tonight.
Meanwhile, Corel the Clever is strolling around in the seedier parts of Eleder, trying to make a quick buck and have some fun with the women in the process. Having had some luck at dice, as well as pulling off a nice second story job he has splurged most of the acquired funds on women and wine. The rest was wasted buying a decent rapier and a beautifully adorned armor. Well, perhaps not a complete waste, considering the admiring glances he gets from the female clientele in the bar. Being all but broke again he sits at a table, orders a bottle of the finest wine the run-down tavern can offer and contemplates his options...

I guess you all forgot to reinvite me, instead of recruiting. :) Oh well, se la vie. Well maybe you needed another type of character. Hadn't thought of that.
Hey gang, I know the dots have a habit of disappearing, but Lucendar made a gameplay post a few minutes ago, so we all might want to check that the dot is still there...
Re-reading the poison rules, when you get stung multiple times in the same round, you don't suffer the effects for each sting individually, instead, each additional sting increases the poison save DC by 2. If that's the case, then Ialda lost only 1 point of Strength the first Round not 3. If someone has a different interpretation, let me know.

I seem to be having more than the usual problem with dots lately. It is especially vexing that the IC and OOC threads seem to maintain their own status and I can be happily thinking we're having a nice OOC discussion with nothing happening IC at the moment when in fact action has resumed :)
Lucendar, I believe that is correct that only one takes effect per round though that is one of those easily forgotten rules.
Oh, and btw, no worries at all on infrequent posting. I have games that post multiple times a day and ones that only post once a week or less. I enjoy your GMing and this character so any pace that works for you works for me.
