PbP thread is up! Link

Yay!

Waiting for Kaliana's post..

sorry about that...it's up now. I will post again before my meeting tonight. And who knows, perhaps afterwards, ideally

HP 12/13 - AC 14/8T/12FF - SV F+3, R+1, W+5 Percep +6, Init +2, blind

Hey Kaliana, shouldn't your perception be +2 (from the half-elf racial bonus?)

Hope you liked the start!

That's a really evocative first scene, Lucendar. I thought it was pretty awesome...

Terrific!

Billo's impressions do not reflect those of his player.

Great, glad you liked it! By the way, have decided to run another group through CoT with some of the players who were not selected for this thread (the other one is called..Take Two!), so don't get confused where to post. LOL..

HP 12/13 - AC 14/8T/12FF - SV F+3, R+1, W+5 Percep +6, Init +2, blind

Even though I saw the corpse rolled for initiative, I thought it would be to metagamey to go after it, since for all I knew it was a corpse :)

Good move with SoF, that +2 saved you from a hit!

HP 12/13 - AC 14/8T/12FF - SV F+3, R+1, W+5 Percep +6, Init +2, blind

Indeed. Can't draw a weapon while moving yet, so +0 BaB is what really saved my butt!

Female ( HP 13/1) AC:17 FF:12 T:15 F: +5 R: +2 W: +0 Initiative +3 Perception +3

Call it divine forsight

HP 12/13 - AC 14/8T/12FF - SV F+3, R+1, W+5 Percep +6, Init +2, blind

Would have been better had I not totally missed the part where the corpse came out in the first place. Duh!

HP 12/13 - AC 14/8T/12FF - SV F+3, R+1, W+5 Percep +6, Init +2, blind

Hey would my fast healing heal me on the round I activated it, or not until next round?

I would say you would heal on the round activated.

Guys, I put a link for the map of Westcrown under the Campaign description so you can visualize the different Sectors in the city and the distances.

Sorry folks, sick and slept msot of the day. feelign bit better and will egt posting here

No prob, hope you feel better.

It hit me about 6 weeks ago, Magic and I was out for 4 days. Hope you feel better soon.

The worst is over, dont feel nearly as drained today, thank you both

Only have access to boards via phone, waiting for paizo to fix site.

I have full access now. But it's very slow.

finally have full access again

I'm headed to Florida; my mother-in-law is really sick. I'm not sure how long I'll be there, probably a week or a week and a half. I'm guessing I'll still be able to check online with some regularity, but if I'm not please DMPC to keep things moving.

can't believe I wasted that nat 20 attack to disarm him!

And my big hit just wasted on the corridor! What a nasty scrape we're in.

tempting to charge them while they are reloading.

23/23 HP | AC 18/16/14 | F+3,R+5, W+3 | Perc +10/+11 (vTraps), Init. +5, DisDev+12 | CMD 14 | Female Halfling Unchained Rogue 3 | Evasion & Twist Away | 1 HeroPoint

Go for it! Shel will help, even if she doesn't agree with it, lol. That's what makes it fun.

I just realized that Tauni's Bless will only work on Loco if she makes a successful d20 + caster level check vs. his SR of 6. Previously she had cast a cure spell on him...he would have spent a standard action to lower his defenses for that. I think I applied the Bless bonus on previous rolls....sorry about that...I forgot about his magic resistance.

Me too. To avoid retconning, we'll assume he made the rolls but from now on, he will roll.

What he needed was dog resistance. Damn hounds! It will be exciting to see if we can survive this one... go Rabbit!

Male HP:09/21 AC: 16(18HS)/11/15(17HS) F: +5 R: +1 W: +0 Per: +0 Init: +2

It's ok, all three groups seem to be in fights for their lives!

GM trying to get the triple TPK award!

LOL...I told you at the beginning, I like exciting /dramatic fights!

Lucendar's already got a couple heads mounted on the wall from my characters. And I'm sure he'll get some more before its all said and done. That's what makes it fun, lol!!!

It's nice to get the good roll, but because I made a roll on Tauni's behalf first (witout asking first) - the following natural 20 to hit might appear less legitimate.

I'll have to leave that to the DM's judgement.

I'll be honest, initially it did look shady, especially since I had already posted no retconning and no need for SR rolls for previous spells, which included Bless. Therefore, I rolled for you and happened to crit as well, so no harm no foul.

Sigh of relief for Loco.

Sometimes I wish we had a more transparent rolling system...where a statement of the roll's purpose is permanently associated with the roll result...to avoid shady rolling, confusion and retconning etc...

...but we don't...and that's why we have DM's. Thanks.

I suppose lobotomies are anachronisms in this quasi-mediaeval setting, but I couldn't resist the image.

Okay, I am just getting settled at home again and was checking threads. I read this before I read the play thread. Now I have to jump over and see what's happening. :)

Everyone, I'll be moving tomorrow to a new house...so I will loose internet for bit. Will be checking and making short entries from my phone. (less frequent).

It's been exciting and dramatic so far!

no worries, it adds A dramatic pause to the next battle we are about to get ourselves into. will they perish in the slaughter house....will the food at the oprhanage contain halfling meat......do dwarf and elf really taste that different?

Thanks for DMPCing Loco. In the middle of moving and the house is upside-down. It will take a day or 2 to get settled in.

Question of preference: Do you prefer the maps with your portraits or top down views of your characters, like this: Top Down Map. Let me know.

As you can tell, I am bored and killing time today...LOL!

I think I like the ones you have been using better, DM. But, in the grand scheme, it doesn't matter to me, so if someone else has a strong preference, I'm fine with it...

True, there is the possibility for confusion with the top-down view. Cool.

I think the maps look great, and I don't have a particular preference of which icon you use for the PCs. They are both cool looking and since facing isn't really important in Pathfinder combat they both work well.

no particular preference. As long as it shows where everything is.

Female ( HP 13/1) AC:17 FF:12 T:15 F: +5 R: +2 W: +0 Initiative +3 Perception +3

Both are good, though I think i prefer the ones you have been using

Hey guys, I'm back from Vegas and ready to roll! Thanks for running for me while I was away, Lucendar.
