Great, glad you liked it! By the way, have decided to run another group through CoT with some of the players who were not selected for this thread (the other one is called..Take Two!), so don't get confused where to post. LOL..
I'm headed to Florida; my mother-in-law is really sick. I'm not sure how long I'll be there, probably a week or a week and a half. I'm guessing I'll still be able to check online with some regularity, but if I'm not please DMPC to keep things moving.
I just realized that Tauni's Bless will only work on Loco if she makes a successful d20 + caster level check vs. his SR of 6. Previously she had cast a cure spell on him...he would have spent a standard action to lower his defenses for that. I think I applied the Bless bonus on previous rolls....sorry about that...I forgot about his magic resistance.
Lucendar's already got a couple heads mounted on the wall from my characters. And I'm sure he'll get some more before its all said and done. That's what makes it fun, lol!!!
It's nice to get the good roll, but because I made a roll on Tauni's behalf first (witout asking first) - the following natural 20 to hit might appear less legitimate.
I'll be honest, initially it did look shady, especially since I had already posted no retconning and no need for SR rolls for previous spells, which included Bless. Therefore, I rolled for you and happened to crit as well, so no harm no foul.

Sigh of relief for Loco.
Sometimes I wish we had a more transparent rolling system...where a statement of the roll's purpose is permanently associated with the roll result...to avoid shady rolling, confusion and retconning etc...
...but we don't...and that's why we have DM's. Thanks.
I suppose lobotomies are anachronisms in this quasi-mediaeval setting, but I couldn't resist the image.
Okay, I am just getting settled at home again and was checking threads. I read this before I read the play thread. Now I have to jump over and see what's happening. :)
Everyone, I'll be moving tomorrow to a new house...so I will loose internet for bit. Will be checking and making short entries from my phone. (less frequent).
no worries, it adds A dramatic pause to the next battle we are about to get ourselves into. will they perish in the slaughter house....will the food at the oprhanage contain halfling meat......do dwarf and elf really taste that different?
I think I like the ones you have been using better, DM. But, in the grand scheme, it doesn't matter to me, so if someone else has a strong preference, I'm fine with it...
I think the maps look great, and I don't have a particular preference of which icon you use for the PCs. They are both cool looking and since facing isn't really important in Pathfinder combat they both work well.
