I had thought of this and i keep going back and forth.

I fear that this will become an exercise in powergaming and past experience for me indicates that such games do not last very long.

I have an idea or two but I tend to make characters that are less than optimized, but have personality and fill a niche instead of the best at everything. (yes most of my characters will have weakness.)

also I would probably need a week to just figure out the setting before the week to create the character.

Dark Archive

Okay, I'm cool with that. Obviously there are some creatures that need to be destroyed instead of defeated (and I can turn off Merciful for those), but I will be trying to walk the path of redemption.

On the issue of the Mythic level, is it okay if I use the Overmind path from DSP (here)? It will definitely suit the character better than most of Paizo's options. :)

The Overmind is apart of the upcoming(very soon!) Mythic Heroes Handbook from Legendary Games and is thus automatically allowed.

Would you Allow the teleport spell?
Could we make our own language for our own race?
How will you be handling initiative?
Are we allowed to take traits that have a Society Req?
Could I use magus fighter training to met the req for traits?
When making your own Race how much would being immortal in terms of aging be?

Dotting with interest. Trying to think of a concept.

Barret, not a problem at all!

Bigrig107, hmmm... that poison is kind of crazy. Give me a day to try and figure out just how bad it could be vs appropriately CR'd creatures.

HighonHolyWater, your character wouldn't happen to be Russian, would he?

Seranov, Monkeygod is correct. I stated that all of the Legendary Games Mythic Paths are allowed because they are all just amazing.

Pathfinder Zoey, here are answers to all of your questions.
Teleport is a suitable spell, but it is less useful than in a normal campaign.
You may make your own language and, in fact, I rather like that idea. Initiative will be rolled by me at the start of combat and will remain static throughout the match unless certain buffs or debuffs alter a certain individual's Initiative, in which case I move them up or down the list as necessary. You may take Society traits.
Magus Fighter Training to qualify for Traits? You mean to qualify for Feats?
You can gain immortality for free by choosing Master of Eidolon. If you are not interested in choosing that, let me see if I can find any pre-existing instances of Immortality costing RP. If I can't find anything, I will probably rule 2 RP is how much Immortality would cost, presuming you mean full immortality with immunity to any effects pertaining to aging (Such as age penalties, the aging drain attacks of ghosts, ect).

I'll probably be looking at going the Master of Umbra route, as it is the most fitting.

Regarding monstrous races:

1.) How do i modify their starting ability scores to determine their bonuses? I remember the 3.5 way but not sure if it is different in PF.

2.) Do monstrous races still get the bonus RP as they are lifted above their original forms?

sweet and thanks, teleport is always cool

the magus thing I knew works for feat but I didn't know if I was treated as a fighter for traits like defender of society

Id prefer full immortality but it's mostly just for flavor so I'd be fine with either I was planning on using master of eidolon anyway so that works out

I'm very interested in this

How would you judge the Pixie?

I'm thinking of giving my own twist on the creature, using the pixie as the basis to build on.

Decided not to go with the template, Zoruugasz.
No need to worry!

Dotting for interest.

Definitely loving the old magic the gathering vibe so probably going to draw inspiration from that.

Is Path of War stuff allowed?

Crunch is up for Sashin, the Catastrophe in the Night.
Will get the fluff and riveting story up later today.

With Master of the Stair, are all forms of travel accounted for?
Extraplanar and whatnot?

Just curious.

As for Path of War, it is allowed, including the playtest material from the upcoming Path of War expansion. That includes Riven Hourglass and similar styles, as well as the Unquiet Grave style from the Lords of the Night playtest.

Tenro, which 3.X rules do you use? There are 2-3 variations on how to break down monster stats. As for your second question, that depends on how powerful the base monster is. If it's a dragon or something, it's well above 20 RP anyway.

Pathfinder Zoey, ah, now I get what you were asking. Yes, it does allow you to take those traits.

Cuan, I have done enough DM/GM work to know not to underestimate a Pixie. Pixie sneak attackers and casters can be downright deadly. What did you have in mind?

TarkXT, right? When I first read LoG&S, I was impressed by how much like MTG the setting was. That's one of the reasons that I was interested in running the campaign. Plus I'm something of a Planescape fanboy too!

Sashin, you get fun things like Planar Adaptation, choice of movement types/speed increases, the ability to open and close Doors that are otherwise unaccessible (In most cases), the ability to seal gates and portals, and the ability to read, write, and speak every language after being exposed to the same language for a total of 3 rounds. These are just a few of the powers.

Is it possible to get a short blurb on each of the Mastery's and there associated powers? I know there was a bit in the character creation section but I'm interested in knowing more.

Thunderbeard here, posting with an alias full of stats. (Story will take a bit of time to write up, but I'll get to it).

Several questions I've got that might be relevant to the thread:

1. Are alignments at all restricted? There are some... very different-outlook characters proposed.

2. Any chance we can get more description of world "attunement," following up Hotaru's question? "As for attuning to worlds, you are only attuned to ONE world, usually the first world that you enter after walking the Grand Staircase. If you are a Master of Wrighting, you may create as many worlds as you want, but you are always attuned to only one world. The process of changing said attunement is a long process and tailored to the individual and world involved."

...but are attuned worlds accidental, or would Gossamer Lords choose an intentional attunement (or either, depending on their knowledge)? Does the Gossamer Lord influence the character of the world (as a sort of protector/guardian/demigod), or vice-versa? Is the world itself a reflection of them, that they are somehow responsible for creating or maintaining?

3. Should our characters have cool nicknames/titles beyond just their names? Do the Gossamer Lords tend to put a lot of stock into titles? I really like "Catastrophe in the Night," and tried something similar (though massive kudos to anyone who's heard the term "Khan of Dreams" before)

Shadow Lodge

probally going to work something up today lol this seems like so much fun, also is there any site that lets one see the info from the Legendary Games mythic paths like the archives of nythes? or something similar?

I'd be looking at at least Oracle on one end something archery focused on the other. Hunter, Slayer and Ranger are the most likely options.

Thematically the character would come from a world that used to function as a Dwimmerlaik stronghold until they packed up and left. Very few races survived their presence, the pixies being one of them due to their reclusiveness. The changes to their world changed them though and they are like shadows of their former selves.

Another, and very different idea I have would involve a smart, some would even say enlightened, Ogre. It would more or less rely on whether you accept this version of the Ogre, toned down by 3 rp if needed. I'd also at least slap the Giantkin template on it.

would the advanced template take up 1 level on 1 side, 1 level on both sides, or something else?
(Edit: I'm thinking of the Eidolon's enhancement of reality.)

Re: Battle Imp, I'm playing with several ideas--so much potential in a game like this!--but thinking a Battle Imp / Warder (Path of War).

Would Battle Imp take up one or both sides of the gestalt?

EDIT: Also curious about gravity elemental, and the mighty template. (If they take up one or two sides of the gestalt)

i used to use the rule of just take their ability scores, subtract 10 off of even scores and 11 off of odd scores, and those are your racial bonuses.

as far as power of creature, CR 6 is pushing it as far as how many class levels i am willing to give up. definitly not looking at playing as a dragon, but an aberration or monstrous humanoid sounds fun.

Since I've decided on going the Metaforge/Vitalist route, I'm considering taking the Focused Offense Blade Skill. It allows me to replace Strength with Wisdom for to-hit and damage with my Mind Blade. Would this allow me to do 1.5x Wis to damage with a 2H Mind Blade?

I've seen different DSP people disagree on the matter*, so I figure it's just easiest to go with what you decide. It's honestly not a big deal either way (like 4 damage?), so I'll likely go with using Focused Offense even if you say it's only Wis x1.

*:
I did a google search and it seems like even DSP isn't 100% on this. Here is the lead designer of Path of War saying "no". I had a link to another DSP staff member (Andreas Rönnqvist, under the username Angellis_ater) saying "yes" but it appears to have been eaten by DSP moving to a new website.

If Andreas says yes, then that's likely the correct answer. He and Jeremy Smith are the main designers/owners of DSP, *especially* Psionic stuff.

Background is up! Now for an introduction.

Introduction sample:
The dragon's eyes snapped open as she noticed the intruder, several hundred feet away.

She slid up, the rubble from her domain bouncing off of her and smashing against the ground.

"Who dares trespass in my realm?"

She glided over behind one of the many pillars dotting the area, and climbed to the top of it quietly.

"I hear you, I sense your presence.

Her wings extended, she flew across the space between her pillar and the next, her sight scouring the ground below her.

"I am Sashin, the Stalker in the Shadows, the Twilight Hunter! You cannot hide from me!"

Her massive forelegs slammed against the ground as she landed in front of the intruder.

Her foot long teeth curl into a wicked smile, and her tail swings around, knocking a pillar to the ground with a thunderous roar.

"Now that we see each other face to face, we can be truly acquainted."

Ima go for a Warder/Wizard.

This is definitely power gaming, because I want something shiny I can't have without giving up other shiny things. Buuuut:

If the arcanist already has a bloodline (or gains one later), taking this exploit instead allows her arcanist levels to stack with the levels of the class that granted her access to the bloodline when determining the powers and abilities of her bloodline.

If I am a level 13 arcanist // 1 sorcerer / 12 anything, would taking this Arcanist Exploit allow me to treat my sorcerer level as 13 for purposes of bloodline powers and abilities granted? Or would you require Arcanist and Sorcerer to be on the same side of the gestalt for it to work? :)

Also: Are at-will spell likes on the table for our races? I'm on the fence between a single at-will spell like and two 1/day ones. They'd have virtually the same effect for just her. But at-will creates a lot of fun, as well. :)

Sashin:

When the dragon abruptly appeared, presumably in defense of its territory, Barrett was largely unfazed. Not that he wasn't surprised, mind you; it's just that you get used to surprises in this line of work.

He appeared in the den unarmored and unburdened save for whar could be seen immediately. A wind-swept cloak conceals the outfit of one well-traveled and when the dragon lands the gust blows the heavy cloth aside, revealing a revolver resting on either hip.

"Can't say I'm pleased to know the name." replies Barrett calmly "But for what it's worth: you can call me Duke. alias You're blocking the Door." and he motions to the area beyond the creature.

Regarding my character's (either initially a Human or Witchwyrd) transformation, i was thinking either Force Creature or Savant Creature.

The former would go more along the lines of the Witchwyrd form's manipulation of force evolving into a new characteristic.

The latter would make more sense in my opinion, and would represent the magnitude of things he has seen in his time in the void. I'd need your determination on the CR, however, since my character would be a psion on one side and more of a melee character on the other. However, his psion side would mostly be self-buffs, so high DCs aren't as likely to come into play.

Given the choice between the two, I'd likely go with Savant Creature as I'd rather emphasize that aspect of his being, and it would further the theme of him using his powers to overcome the adversities that have been dealt him. Also, I'd need a determination on whether the templates take up one or both sides of the gestalt.

Barrett:
"You are not pleased? Then it is good I did not intend to please you."

She stretches her wings out, and swings her tail again.

"You are a strange creature, little one. Not quite undead, not quite human. What are you...?"

Sashin cranes her neck down in order to look at Duke closer.

"And who gave you permission to pass into my territory?"

Shadow Lodge

got a cool idea for a custom race, currently working on their story, lol then i'll get my character put together

Before I continue with design, I would first like to ask if this would be ok as a race:

Acirassi:

Her race has many names, and is known in many worlds. They are creatures distantly related to fey.
Tiny humanoids with wings, mistakenly called fairies in one world, pixies or sprites in another. The truth is, they are nomads who spread throughout the worlds when their home plane fell back into the original chaos from where it rose eons past.

There is only one gender among them, but not in the classical sense of the word. Any two members of their species can mate with each other, in a carnal act not unlike that of other species.
But if a pregnancy occurs, both participants will become impregnated, and after a few weeks, give birth to identical twins. Since they go through pregnancy and give birth, they identify themselves as females in comparison to other races, despite being somewhat androgynous in looks and being much differently equipped(for example, newborns are fed pre-chewed fruit since they lack mammary glands).

As a result of their way of reproduction, each single member of the race is born with a twin, from another mother. Since their own mother has a twin, the mother of their twin has a twin, and any mate their choose will have a twin(and they, two mothers with their twins each), they have a rather extended, but not closely knit family network, somewhat organized in individual, large colonies. Their skin and hair can have a multitude of different colors, dependending partly on the genetic makeup of the colony, but also on the individual diet.
Socially, a bond between mates is often a temporary fling, while the bonds to their own twin are life-long and very strong for each member of the race, with the only other permanent bond being that between birth mothers and daughters.

They can't metabolize meat, and keep to a vegetarian diet. Due to their very small size, despite their agility, they are slow when forced to move on the ground. Luckily, their wings allow them to fly tirelessly, and it is their preferred form of movement. They are naturally resistent to magic and able to stay invisible to other races(their at-will invisibility does not work against others of their kind).

They are generally good-spirited, yet somewhat unorganized and chaotic, and usually hide from other races, making their homes far away from the settlements of other civilized species, preferably in
deep woods providing plenty of food.

Race Specs:

Fey (2 RP)
A fey is a creature with supernatural abilities and connections to nature or to some other force or place.

A fey race has the following features:

Fey have the low-light vision racial trait.
Fey breathe, eat, and sleep.

Tiny (4 RP)

Prerequisites: Aberration, construct, dragon, fey, outsider (native), or plant type.
Modifiers: Tiny creatures gain a +2 size bonus to Dexterity and a –2 size penalty to Strength. Tiny races gain a +2 size bonus to their AC, a +2 size bonus on attack rolls, a –2 penalty on combat maneuver checks and to their CMD, and a +8 size bonus on Stealth checks. Tiny characters take up a space of 2-1/2 feet by 2-1/2 feet, so up to four of these characters can fit into a single square. Tiny races typically have a natural reach of 0 feet, meaning they can't reach into adjacent squares. They must enter an opponent's square to attack it in melee. This provokes an attack of opportunity from the opponent. Since they have no natural reach, they do not threaten the squares around them. Other creatures can move through those squares without provoking attacks of opportunity. Tiny creatures typically cannot flank an enemy.

Slow Speed (–1 RP)

The race has a base speed of 20 feet. If the race is Medium, its members' speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.

Flexible (2 RP)

Modifiers: Members of this race gain a +2 bonus to any two ability scores.=> +2 Int or Dex, +2 Cha...if +2 Dex AND the +2 Dex from size are too much, then they will have +2 Int and +2 Cha. If +2 Dex from both sources is ok, they will have +2 Dex and +2 Cha.

Xenophobic (0 RP)

Members of this race start with their racial language only. Races without a racial language cannot take this array. Furthermore, choose up to four languages (except for Druidic or other secret languages), one of which must be Common (or Undercommon, if the race is native to the underground regions). Members of this race with high Intelligence scores can choose from any of these additional languages.

=> Costs the same as Standard, but that way their preferred isolation is better shown. Only few members of the species as a whole will have had outside contact.

Spell Resistance, Greater (3 RP)

Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race gain spell resistance equal to 11 + their character level.

Spell-Like Ability, At-Will (Variable but 4RP in this case )

Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Choose a 3rd-level or lower spell that does not attack a creature or deal damage. Members of this race can use this spell as an at-will spell-like ability. The caster level of the spell is equal to the user's character level.
Special: This trait costs as many RP as twice the level of spell chosen (minimum 2). Up to five spells can be chosen when you take this trait. Each time you take an additional spell, adjust the RP cost of this trait appropriately.

=> They would have Invisibility(2nd Level) as a at-will spell-like ability. I reckon in a lower-level campaign that may be mad powerful, but if we start at a higher level it's little more than fluff.

Flight (4 RP)+(2 RP) improvement.

Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race have a fly speed of 30 feet with clumsy maneuverability.
Special: This trait can be taken more than once. For each additional 2 RP spent, the race's fly speed increases by +10 feet, and the maneuverability improves by one step.

=> Same as with invisibility...in a lower-level campaign stupidly powerful, but at higher level, mostly fluff.

Result:
Size Tiny, +2 Dex, -2 Str, +2 Cha, +2(Int or Dex), SR 11+ Level, usually invisible, 20 feet ground movement, 40 feet(poor) fly speed(not enough RP to get to 50(normal), unless I am allowed to drop the "Fey" prerequisite for Tiny).

OK, here is my thoughts:

I'd like to play a technological character from the Technology Guide, so probably a Techslinger archetype with a big gun. I also considered a celestial character, but couldn't quite find one I liked except half-celestial; half celestial can't be used to make a level 13 character (+2 level adjustment at HD10, but +3 at HD11), so I would add another template (Advanced) to create someone who is the result of high-tech experiments who then escaped to create his own life, eventually finding his way onto the Grand Staircase. His second class would probably be warpriest (though more of a philosophy than of an actual deity)

In terms of Leadership, I have never used it before, but I imagined him having some kind of organisation that did investigation in various worlds, looking for anomalies/interplanar crimes, etc. mostly in the background, perhaps giving him a sidekick (cohort) or somesuch (but let's face it, unless they are also gestalt, they will be so hopelessly outclassed as to be obsolete, so maybe not).

I am assuming that Advanced and Half-Celestial use both sides of my gestalt, so that I have a 10//10 gestalt to play with. In other words, I would have a Gunslinger (Techslinger) 10//Warpriest 10 Advanced Half Celestial Human who was bred for war, escaped and made his way onto the Grand staircase, where he built an organisation that tracks down those that use the Planes for Evil (i.e. dwimmerleik), which he then goes and deals with.

Given the clandestine nature of his organisation, and the way that he ignores local customs in favour of a higher authority, I'd have to say he was Chaotic Good.

Is that all ok?

Sashin:

Sorry, forgot Will for frightful presence

Will: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34

Conversationally speaking, Barrett was waltzing with a porcupine. Still he maintained his composure and talked calmly, even while under intense scrutiny from the dragon - that is until he notices the strange tattoos covering the creatures surface.

Kn: Religion: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

He scowls a bit but doesn't mention it, instead saying:

"Didn't think I'd need permission. Thought you'd be used to visitors what with the Stairs being right there."

He pauses for a minute, obviously dancing around the "what are you?" question, before adding:

"Though I reckon you take exception to that?"

Wow, that DC is super low. Might change some things around to get it higher. Won't get to 34, however.

Barrett:
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30

"I do not have a problem with visitors, of course. But one who shows up, unannounced? And one such as you?"

She stares into Duke's eyes, and asks a simple question.

"What are you doing here, and why do you want to enter the Plane of Shadow?"

Reckless wrote:

(Edit: I'm thinking of the Eidolon's enhancement of reality.)

@Reckless: The Advanced simple template is super powerful; I'd personally recommend using it for both sides anyway, because it represents a lot of innate power for your race over simple training.

@Hotaru: That's generally established as an exploit of the Arcanist, but one often used. (There's also those bloodline robe items that give you +4 to an ability score—but I'd consider addressing in story why you have a sorcerer level.

Sashin:

It's probably safe to assume with such a high Sense Motive result that you can tell pretty easily that Barrett is using a pseudonym. Otherwise he hasn't really lied about anything else.

Also, I don't know how far our reputations as Gossamer Lords/Ladies carries. I'm guessing we know at least something about one another.

"Figure I'm looking for someone, heard the infamous 'Twilight Hunter' had a tendency to find herself among undead-types. He's a lich, 'bout yeigh high," and he holds his hand slightly above his own head to illustrate "calls himself Boneskaw. Ring any bells?"

How much of the gold should we spend? I've already blown about 90k but should we keep some to cover costs like food and travel?

Would you allow eastern armors?

Still working on flavor but here is the crunch for my custom race

Race Submission, Keepers:

Ability Score Racial Traits: Members of this race gain +2 Con and +2 Cha.

Type: Members of this race are outsiders with the native subtype.

Size: Members of this race are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.

Speed: Members of this race have a base speed of 40 feet.

Languages: Members of this race begin play speaking Decemuir* and Common. Members of this race with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).

Celestial Resistance: Members of this race have acid resistance 5, cold resistance 5 and electricity resistance 5.

Defensive Training: Members of this race have a +2 dodge bonus to Armor Class.

Spell Resistance: Members of this race gain spell resistance equal to 11 + their character level.

Low-Light Vision: Members of this race can see twice as far as a race with normal vision in conditions of dim light.

Eternal Hope: Members of this race have a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against fear and despair effects. Also, once per day, after a natural roll of 1 on a d20 roll, a member of this race may reroll and use the second result.

Darkvision: Members of this race can see in the dark up to 60 feet.

*Decemuir Is the native language of the Keepers

Barrett:
"Do you think you can deceive me, mortal? You are not being completely truthful with me."

Sashin turns to a pillar, and climbs up it to perch on top of it, giving herself a figure of intimidation as she turns back to Duke.

"But you have heard of me. That is good. And 'Boneskaw', you said?"

Would she actually know this lich? I have no idea who it is myself, but would she?

I looked past this thread earlier, but it has been gnawing at the back of my mind all day! The concept seems cool and planehopping is always fun. Especially when one can be from any world!

So - before I begin, I have some questions!

Questions!:
1) Any world?

I was thinking of making a character hailing from Caen, the setting of Privateer Press games Warmachine, Hordes & Iron Kingdoms. Are you familiar with that setting =)?

If not, I shall provide a more elaborate summary, but it is basically steampunk with plenty of magic, monsters and walking lumps of metal called warjacks.

2) Tech level?

I was thinking of making a magical sharpshooter. As such, I would like to snag an Advanced Firearm - namely the rifle. Would that work?

3) Weird Classes?

To realize my concept, the mechanical part anyhow, I was thinking of taking Wizard (Spellslinger) on one side and Magus (Myrmidarch) on the other. But! Some of the Myrmidarch class features are a bit wonky (Ranged Spellstrike). Would you be willing to work with me a little bit to figure out how we want to run em?

(As above, if you are not 100% up to speed on the Myrmidarch I shall provide a more detailed summary!)

4) Construct Cohort?

The warjacks of the Iron Kingdoms can be controlled verbally by anyone with a bit of training, but to truly make them something more, an innate affinity is required: Warcasting. Like the Glossamer Lord spark (and the Planewalker spark of MtG), this is something that manifests in only a very select few - and I thought it would be interesting to mix the two!

Now, in the tabletopgames and so, a single Warcaster usually controls several of these warjacks - but they typically have one that they are closely bonded with, their signature. (A bit like Ash from pokemon - he has many monsters, but Pikachu is special)

I thought it would be a bit of fun to have such a 'creature' with me - and it would help to add a bit of steampunk spice.

Summary of 4: Construct Cohort - would that be okay? : )

5) Flavour...

(This should probably be nr 1, just to be sure:) This character would obviously add quite a bit of steampunk/magitech into the mix. Is this a sort of thing you would enjoy - or do you feel it might 'spoil' anything?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Seranov here, decided to use an old alias for my character for this. I finished up the crunch (level 13 + a mythic level is a TON of work! D: ) and I'm going to start working on his fluff later tonight.

General jist is that Wodin was a high priest of Sarenrae on another planet in Golarion's solar system... and that's about all I've got so far. It'll get better quick, I promise. :)

Additionally, I'm going to steal something from another PbP game I applied for that I think is really cool.

About Me:
Experience with PBPs: I'm in quite a number of PbP games right now, and am managing at least 1 post/day for them, if not more.

Favourite alignment and why/do you hate the alignment system and why: My favorite alignment is Neutral Good, because I like playing character that are all about helping people in need and doing the right thing. I also have a soft spot for properly-played Paladins (not the NO FUN ALLOWED kind) and properly-played Chaotic Neutral characters (not the HERP DERP LET'S PRETEND WE'RE NOT CE kind). However, I'm not super attached to the alignment system, so if it goes, I can easily figure out how to manage.

Number of PBPs you have played in: Including ones that I had to drop because of school (which is unlikely to happen again, as I've got much better time management now), over 30. Most died due to inactivity, however. I am currently playing in 6 active PbP campaigns.

Number of PBPs you have played in that have finished/are still actively ongoing after a long period of time: I finished book 1 of Carrion Crown (here), but sadly most of my other games have died to inactivity. I am currently in three games under GM Rednal (here, here, and here) which I am very active in, and are probably the best examples of my posting frequency and style.

Tell me a little about the PBPs you have played in that finished/are still actively ongoing after a long period of time: Most of the games I am most active in are very RP-driven, but with a good dose of combat stuff. I like a nice balance of storytelling and facebeating! Rednal's gestalt games are great examples of this, because a small party helps keep the game moving really quickly, and makes for great in-character socializing. :)

Your most interesting character in a previous PBP/real life game: I'd say my favorite and most interesting character is Tarov, my gestalt Warder/Cavalier. He's a very no-nonsense dwarf who focuses on defending his friends and smiting his enemies, and he's got a great rapport going with the other two party members.

Your best roleplay interaction post in a previous PBP: Here is a roleplaying sequence that got my Aasimar Cleric accepted to another PbP. Gii was a disciple of Nethys, and was defending his position as a faithful of the All-Seeing Eye. I'm really proud of how it went, overall.

Can you commit to an absolute minimum of 1 post every 2 days: Not a problem whatsoever.

Can you commit to this game for a long time, as the bare minimum is measured in months not weeks: As above, this is not a problem.

Sashin:

Edwin "Boneskaw" Fasco is Barrett's main antagonist and his major motivation in adventuring. The two ran in the same gang at one time but their paths eventually split when Barrett left and settled down while Boneskaw pursued the path to Lichdom. Eventually bad blood boiled to the top and Eddy ended up killing Barrett and his family. Back from the dead, Barrett now pursues him all across the stairs.

He's a crazy spell tossing, gun slinging lich (possibly a mythic lich given the campaign). I can't really make a whole lot of assumptions on how the GM would treat him in this campaign but it's safe to say that he's a bad enough dude to warrant the personal attention of a Gossamer Lord.

Barrett deflects the accusation, instead focusing on pressing Sashin for information:

"Yeah, that's right. He may have not said his name but maybe a six-foot skeleton with a pair of shooting irons jumps out in your memory."

He takes a few steps back to get a better view of the dragon while he speaks.

would the advanced template take up 1 level on 1 side, 1 level on both sides, or something else?

(Edit: I'm thinking of the Eidolon's enhancement of reality.)

@Reckless: The Advanced simple template is super powerful; I'd personally recommend using it for both sides anyway, because it represents a lot of innate power for your race over simple training.

Thanks, but I'll await the GM's input on this.

I am dotting interest and I will play a dragon. How about adult crystal dragon and 3 levels in Psionicist?

Interesting....another primal dragon. Welcome.

Remember its Gestalt, so for the adult crystal, you'll have dragon/class 3/class 3/mythic 1.

Also, if anyone else wants to join the introduction thing, feel free!

This looks amazing. Would the giant creature template take up one or both sides?
Either way I am going to make a giant brawler/barbarian who fights exclusively with his hands or his enemies. How do you feel about cheese? One thing I would love to do with him is body bludgeon + the limitless range mythic power. Grab your enemy, throw them into orbit.
