You find, as always, crude weapons and armors on the goblins.Only the shaman's falchion seems of exceptional quality. It has a small stick with strange signs on it.

They don't have much money, but you find, on one of the fallen goblin, a small uncut black gem.

Of course, you can take bits of the exploded automaton before going.

Katara would take bits of it and if no one claimed it the falchion just out of irritation at the shaman. What she would really like though, well, she hadn't found one yet. Probably couldn't wear them in the open at a Hellknight city anyways. Though,....you never know.

Looking at the Automaton she would take a piece or two.

"Then let us head back together. The night is still upon us. I would like to finish cleaning out this floor but with magic scarce I can see caution in moving out." She would head back out with everyone else.

Gorok speaks to you

It's been a dangerous and interesting journey. I'm not sure i'm up for the challenges of the Spire. I'll check on the Hellknights and see if they could need my alchemical expertise. Maybe we'll team again together in the future, who knows.

The warmth of the fireplace, good food and drinks, and a bed or at least a common sleeping room later will be appreciated after this first foray into the Spire.

If you want a cut of that reward, you'll need to accompany us to the church and have your name added to the legal contract. We can discuss the details in the morning at the church. If not, you'll have to settle for killin' goblins, a fair share of whatever we take, and our entertaining personalities and companionship. Think it over and decide in the morning. Tonight we drink.". Meurasod holds up his mug in salute "may our enemies fall at our feet and may the laughter never cease."

"fights, ritches and knowledge, the Tower should have enough of that for all of us."


Halflings servants come and go, food and drinks is served.

The evening passes peacefully at the Juliver's inn, as the ragtag group speaks of their future plans.

Mary dreams of occult practices, powers not in her grasp just yet....and immortality.

In the morning, she comes down first, her little songbird singing on her shoulder, its tiny head emerging from underneath her hair.


I was scared about Tweety's hiding place..^^

The previous evening.

Zurka partakes of the food and drink sparingly, electing to play the day's events over in his mind and studying where he had made missteps during the exploration of the Spire.

My masters do not tolerate failure...I must be more exact here!

The following morning.

Zurka rises early and heads down to join the others preparing to return to the Spire. He nods in greeting to Mary. "It is pleasant to see you this morning."

Zurka nods in reply. "Yes, I was able to...rest as you so aptly put it. " The bloodshot look in his eyes shows his rest was not as restful as he would have liked.

Baldrek also wakes up early, hearing faint noises as his companions, apparently worrying to not make so much noise, preparing for the trip back to the citadel. He is not worried at all with any noise, actually making sound noises as he walks down to meet the others, even 'dropping' his maul on the ground, making a thunderous sound.

When he sees the owner of the inn walking in the room, still half asleep, he smiles and orders some breakfast.

"Mornin' Zurka, mornin' beauty!"

After a restful night of goblin killing dreams, Meurasod awoke with a stretch and a hearty growl. He dressed and headed to the dining tables for a quick breakfast before they headed back to the Spire. Enough time had passed for the occupants to discover their foray. Hopefully they would pose more of a challenge today. And if not, well he always enjoyed killing goblins. Upon seeing the others, he asks "everyone rested and ready for another day of goblin killing?"


The halflings of the Juliver's inn stay near, if you want to order food or drinks.

Basically, you can sell your loot and try your chance again in the Spire, or wander in the town
