So what should we do next? I have lost the plot a little. We have two crime bosses to check out it seems, do we want to do work for the sister so we can get more info?


The plot is to stop the next chapter of the crime organization. You are to infiltrate, and eliminate/sabotage/hinder them. The "opposing" faction is The Authority, which is more like a specialized police department. Think of TA as a "SWAT" team of sorts.

I have left how you hinder/sabotage/etc the crime family open ended so you have multiple avenues to complete the task.

Okay, so I got my organizations backwards. You are WORKING for The Authority, who is the criminal bosses. The Shield, is the opposing force "SWAT" team.

Everything else is correct though in leaving things open ended for successes.

If Rubin's open/close spell doesn't work, I guess we can break the window. Although I believe he can probably retry his disable device checks since it's a lock and not a trap.

Looking back over the thread, it appears the GM was suggesting that open/close would work with enough of a stealth roll from Rubin to cast it quietly.


Correct, Rubin can try a "stealth" to cast open/close or he can try prestidigitation to try and lift the lock. Either option will require a "stealth" check to try and cast as silently as possibly. Just b/c there is a Somantic component, does not mean you can't try and be sneaky about it.

I meant to put great axe, as damage was d12 lol.
