tremorsense...anyone touching that stone and hiding?

Tikkle quickens his pace to a jog as the stinky birdman hints at his nose. He stoops to scoop up Anyka's dagger slowing a bit to make sure he doesn't miss anything.

Christophe did not know how to help in this situation, so he stayed quiet and followed behind the others.

Tikkle:
Jeggs scent is still faint, but this time you could make it out for sure.

Terra:
Other than the group, no one is touching or hiding in the stone.

As Davick and Jin enter the corridor behind everyone else, the door slammed shut. The inside of the door had no handle to re-open it, and there was another inscription.

Για να επιτύχουν τους μελλοντικούς σας, θα πρέπει να κοιτάξουμε στο παρελθόν.

Dwarven:
To reach your future, you must look to the past.

Female Human (1/2 Minkai) Rogue 7 (Knifemaster)

Hearing the door slam Anyka looks back.

"Dammit with this cryptic bull$#!+" she growls. "The inscription says 'To reach your future, you must look to the past', so obviously tied to what we went through when we were kids."

Male Human Witch 7 HP: 31/31; AC: 14(18), T: 11, FF: 10; Fort: +4, Ref: +7, Will: +6; Initiative: +1, Perception: +3

"Or this is a maze and we have to go back the way we came," Christophe ponders.

Female Human (1/2 Minkai) Rogue 7 (Knifemaster)

"And this is why I hate $#!+ like this!"

Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17

Flynt searches the room for anymore clues. "Problem is, we can't go back the way we came. So what exactly are we supposed to use from our past?"

Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31

Flynt:
Looking around the corridor, you notice a piece of parchment wedged between two stones in the wall. Pulling it out, you see that it doesn't seem to be all that old, and written in common you see the words, Do not walk forward... It ends there, almost as if something interrupted the writer.

She shrugs, not sure of what to think anymore. "Tikkle, wait..." She goes up to him, but knowing how upset he is restrains herself from actually touching him, "I know that you're upset, but...let's not just go running off."

Closing her eyes she takes a deep breath, "Okay....I guess it's worth a try...not really sure what else to do. Let's try the walking backwards thing." Taking another breath to steady herself, she starts walking backwards.

Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17

"Well according to this note, we shouldn't be walking forward. Though it looks like whoever wrote it didn't get to finish it."

Tikkle hit the door, it didn't budge.

Flynt and Gashka:
As Flynt and Gashka walked backwards, they didn't get much further than where Anyka's dagger fell...when their backs hit a wall. Turning around, there's another door, with a handle.

Everyone else:

Flynt and Gashka seemed to stop for no reason and seemed to be looking at nothing but air.

She looks at Flynt, then back at the others, "Okay.....that was really....weird. Alright, the rest of you just walk backwards. I think this is what we're looking for."

Following Tikkle's request Jin scans the are for magical auras before following the others.

K. Arcana/Spellcraft take 10 for a 20.

Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17

"Me too." Flynt will check the door for traps.

Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17 +2 for traps

If there is one, he will disable it, otherwise he just opens the door.

DD: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23

Jin covers his eyes almost immidiately upon starting his scan, as the entire corridor seemed to be magically enhanced.

Flynt:
You do not see any traps, but it was locked. That is until you picked it of course.

Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17

Flynt will just open the door then.

As Flynt opened the door, it and the wall became visible to all. The room on the other side was about the size of a common room in a small tavern, its floors and walls made of wood. Two doors rest on the wall opposite the entrance near the corners. In the center of the room, arm across their chests, stood two statues. One of them was a demon with feathery wings and the other an angel with bat-like wings. An empty pedestal stood between the two figures.

"A demon with angel wings and an agel with demon wings...Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." Anyka mutters as she approaches the pedestal.

She laughs a little and then quickly stifles it, not wanting to break her friends concentration.

Terra follows suit as described to her, she does, however continue to scan the area for anything unusual.

perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Terra:
Despite that while the wood surface was solid, this particular room was rather fuzzy.

Once everyone was in the room, the door slammed shut, and as with the last door, there was no handle on this side of it. An inscription then appears on the pedestal. אחת לנצח דובר האמת, האחרים תמיד נמצא. תעשה את הבחירה של והמהירות שלך עכשיו או שכולם מת. Ten green orbs appear in a vertical line on the wall between the two doors. The grinding of stone can be heard, as the arms of the statues shift to reveal that each had an inscription on their chests. שהוא הדרך הנכונה. With one arm extended, each figure points to an opposing door.

Celestial:
One forever speaks the truth, the other always lies. Make your choice and quickly now or everybody dies.

That is the correct path.

Using Hebrew for Celestial.

How very Labyrinth......if only I could remember how she solved that riddle.....damn

-Posted with Wayfinder

That solution wouldn't apply here. The statues don't speak. The phrase is inscribed upon them.

Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16

Ah....so, we have to deduce soley off of the statues the answer....yeah....not really the puzzle solver this one. LOL The others have been doing pretty well at figuring out stuff so far, I'll just let them handle this.

"Well.....if the pattern holds true and we're supposed to be looking to our past....then we should go through the one that depicts the saint having a past? I don't know....what do the rest of you think?" She just stands there looking at the statues, unsure of exactly what to do.

@ Flynt - How do you know what it says? You don't speak Celestial.

Male Human Witch 7 HP: 31/31; AC: 14(18), T: 11, FF: 10; Fort: +4, Ref: +7, Will: +6; Initiative: +1, Perception: +3
