Terra leads Flynt just outside of the town borders.
I'm sorry but sometimes i get so frustrated that i want to smash things. and, well in town didn't seem like a good idea.
Terra then just starts moving huge boulders. and flinging smaller ones. she spends some time smashing rocks. at one point she seems to be holding a chunk of earth more than twice her size over her head. she doesn't seem to have the strength to "throw" it, but instead at makes a loud crash as she simply drops it "forcefully" in front of her.
she then goes through what look like martial arts kata's with movements mimicking the tiger and the crane. as she practices rocks move about following her movements.

Gashka |
Taking Tikkle by the paw, Gashka follows Anyka out of the warehouse and back to the Inn. Turning to Tikkle she says, "Sorry for taking off on ya like that."
Tikkle |
"No worries, love. At least I managed to catch up" He steals a quick kiss before they reenter the inn.
Gashka |
Wrapping an arm around him, she just sort of leans into him as they make it back inside.
Jin....are you back at the Inn reading those scrolls, or did you go somewhere more private?
Vallterra |
"I understand, I do. But you can't risk innocent people's lives. But I'm really just glad that you're okay. Did you "crack the egg" so to speak?"
Terra stops her "venting" she is breathing a little heavy like from a good work out. she wipes some sweat off her brow. you mean this? she pulls out the smashed orb from her pocket.
Gashka |
Walking into the Inn with Anyka and Tikkle, Gashka sees Jin at a table looking over some fairly old looking scrolls.
Sitting down at the table with Tikkle she looks at Jin, "That looks like a lot of fun.....what is all that stuff about? I hope you got more useful information than we did."
Gashka |
Ya know what....we might just have Chris slip you a restorative potion to cure your eyesight so you stop using your blindness as an excuse to act up. Lol
GM Scary Ceiling Voice |
Flynt sees something shiny inside, reaching inside he pulls out a gem encrusted broach of some kind.
Tikkle |
Considering my knowledge roll of ten, I suppose anyone that wants to know about the legion could just look at my spoiler assuming that You could get a ten or ask me.
"I'm gettin sick of all the dead ends here, Let's get a move on to Polaris."
Gashka |
Looking at Tikkle she says, "I know luv, but shouldn't we still take a look around Brand's house? See if there were any clues left, or do you all think that would be another waste of time? Honestly, I don't know what to do at this point...." She figits nervously in her seat while chewing on her lower lip.
Tikkle |
Hey boss, would the fastest/easiest way to Polaris be by land or sea?
Gashka |
I thought before that he already said we'd have to take a ship...but, I could be wrong. Really though...I wouldn't mind being on a ship with Tikkle. Lol And I'm not sure if going to Brand's house would even be useful at this point. It feels like we're just wasting time really. We can all discuss it as a group as soon as Flynt and Terra get back though. Everyone gets a say in this because it affects all of us.
Tikkle |
If you guys insisted on checking his house and finding yet another half ass lead pointing to Polaris then I'd take you to ready the Wildcat and... ahem, show you the Captain's cabin.
Gashka |
Ya know, if we went out and got a map of the area, that might help. Like if we got a map of the continents, and then a map of where the hell Polaris actually is...it could make things alot easier. Just sayin, surely there is someone in this town that can sell us a map.
Gashka |
Welllll....when you put it that way....I don't really see the point in going to Brand's house and wasting yet more valuable time just to get a clue about something that we already know, which is that we are already going to Polaris.....so...what was that you were saying about your...ummmm cabin? Lol
Gashka |
Once Flynt and Terra get back from their outing.
Gashka looks at everyone and after thinking for a few minutes says, "Personally I don't see any point in going to Brands house and creating more of a stir. Nothing that we found at this point would make much of a difference or change the fact that we have to go to Polaris. So...my vote is just to get on the boat, and get the hells outta dodge. I can go with Tikkle to ready the ship, if you can get Tehanna ready to go Anyka. Don't forget about getting Christophe as well. I have a feeling that he'll find more of the answers he's looking for once we're there. Don't tell him anything about Corda yet or the scroll she gave us. He needs time to sort things out for himself first and I don't want to overwhelm him."
Turning she then looks at Tikkle, "If it's alright with you I'll just come with you to the ship. We had all of our stuff unloaded onto it already, so I don't need to worry about grabbing anything...other than a bath maybe. Would I have time to get freshened up before going with you? I promise it won't take long." As she looks at him she gives him one of her sweetest smiles.
Tikkle |
"Absolutely, love. You lot are welcome to drop by Brand's before you head out, just let Fancypants and Trigger up there know. We'll be off to ensure that the Wildcat is sea ready for the venture to Polaris. Come on out when it please you." He walks up the hall with Gashka and waits patiently for her to be ready to go.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
"It's a broach. Is it yours?"
Terra takes the brooch, feeling it in her hands. Something she had not touched in a very long time.
she seemed a bit lost as she examined every contour, every jewel. a tear starts to fall.
I thought I lost this.
she sits down on the ground her back to Flynt. Mom, she closes her eyes and holds the brooch close like she is hugging it. but it isnt the brooch she is embacing, but rather, the memory.
she looks back at Flynt, tears in her eyes. Help me pin this on. Please
as he does, Do I look pretty?
Gashka |
Assuming there are actual baths here
Taking some soap supplied by the Inn, Gashka takes a quick bath while making sure to lather up everything very well. Once she feels more clean she dries off as best she can and puts her clothes back on. Once done, with just her hair still a little wet, she walks back to Tikkle. Before leaving she goes up to the Inn Keeper to settle the tab with him.
Laying twenty-one gold down on the counter she looks at the Inn Keeper for a minute, "Thank you so much for the rooms, the good food, and your hospitality. This should cover any and all expenses that we incurred while here at your lovely establishment. Please, let the others know that their tabs have been paid. Have a great day."
That having been said, and not waiting for his response she takes Tikkle by the arm and smiles up at him, "I'm ready whenever you are luv." She waves to the others and gives Terra's shoulder a light squeeze before heading out with Tikkle. "Meet us on the ship when ya'll are ready. Tabs been paid at the front."
Gashka |
As they walk out of the Inn together, Gashka holds onto his arm while leaning into him slightly. Tilting her head up to look into his face she says, "Soo....I've never really been on that big of ship before. What's it like being out at sea so much?" She blushes slightly, "Sorry, guess I'm just...a little nervous I guess."
GM Scary Ceiling Voice |
Unrolling the note, it reads. Dear Baker's Son, I do believe your parents didn't get a to say goodbye properly to you. Here's your chance. Meet at the Blacksmith's Apprentice House.
Flynt |
Oh c'mon..
Flynt pins the broach on Terra. "Of course you do." He leans in for a kiss when he is interrupted. He reads the note, his eyes widening. "Call the other girls, bastard has my parents. They're at Brands house." Flynt runs to grab his weapons and drags Terra to Brands.
Vallterra |
Flynt, please tell me that c'mon comment was not directed at me.
Terra snaps out of her little memory, with a tap of her tattoo, girls, we got trouble, at Brand's house. Seems Flynt's parents are in trouble
Terra does not let Flynt just drag her, she moves along side of him, trying to keep vigilant of an ambush.
