Koldur lowers his body, his arms relaxed and drawn in with his axe blades facing outwards. His legs tensed and suddenly releases!

This has the effect of sending the burly dwarf headlong into combat though with his axe blades held in that particular position, brings to mind a comical image of a stunted scythed chariot.

Run....with short legs, I'll take longer.

Jevar takes one of the corpses eyes with his arrow and drops the corpse. The other three advance and surround the drow. As Hykan moves back to light one of them up. One of the zombies bashes into him as Jevar dodges the others.

The three zombies charge and slam into the drow...

His feet pumping, Koldur continues his run, the brisk run warming up his limbs and hes feels the wind beneath his feet.

In the distance he sees his companions cutting down or in Hykan's case burning down the zombies. Nevertheless he continues grimly as his axes sparkle in the light.

Round 3

Hycan takes a shot at one of the zombies approaching Oscar, the zombie not has a flame that burns like a candle. Oscar cuts down another of the zombies, it looks like their sheer numbers might claim another of your group. Koldur comes close to the group as he runs. Now in present location at end of your run. Reknar cuts another of the bodies to let it rest in pieces once more. The zombies slam upon Oscar's armor to no avail, some of them missing him entirely as he dodges them, though as they swarm onto him one gets a lucky shot at his leg doing 5 damage.

Round 4
Arrows whiz over your heads to find their mark in a zombie but to not much avail. Hycan hits the same zombie as the arrows and takes it down in a smoldering pile. Koldur boulders in and cuts off the arm of the zombie in front of him but it still stands. Reknar slams his bardiche into the zombie cutting down its shoulder into its chest but it still stands. Oscar cuts the zombie in between him and Jevar nicely in half and then steps forward to have the body fall on either side of him. He heals himself to negate the bleeding wound. Oscar takes another slam to the back of the head, 9 damage.

"Too late, it seems that the whole wall is alert to our presence." Koldur grimaces as he turns to go.


Round 5

Hycan slams another bolt of flame into another zombie lighting it up. As Jevar stands up the two nearest zombies try to slam into him their arms colliding with some force of magic hindering them from connecting. Three zombies are still slamming into Oscar. The yellow X's mean they are hurt. The red X's mean they are down. The zombies continue to bash Oscar's armor and another lucky slam hurts him at his weak joint of his knee. Ernost takes down one of the zombies with a heavy hit but has turned to move into the distance. Four more zombies burst from their resting places to search out for you. The new coming zombie charges forward and slams into Jevar taking him to the ground once more but his black cloud stays up on the wall. A hail of arrows is released then luckily no arrows or bolts get near any of you, the zombies did not have as much luck but arrows don't normally hurt them. Oscar yells out, "Do you not see the zombies attacking still, and now the drow is down again! Ahhhh!!!!"

Back is fine, he prefers to keep himself as lovely as possible to the visible eye. Ouch, I thought that we had cleared the field so that I could stand up. Bad on me for not looking around properly.


Round 6

Hycan shoots and takes out one of the zombies. Sorry Reknar, you did hit last round killing one of them. Reknar comes in swinging cutting the zombie on top of Jevar and flinging the corpse off of him. Koldur stands 15 feet away from a zombie unsure of what to do, there are also more zombies moving in he could intercept. No actions from Koldur for round 5 or 6 so far. The last wounded zombie wails on Oscar to no avail, Oscar lets his armor take the brunt of the attack making sure the zombie does not go after his archer. Hycan sees the zombie rise out of its grave near him but focuses on the threat to his allies. Now the zombie is upon him but he dodges out of the way before the zombie can lay a finger on him.

Round 7

Oscar sheathes his weapon and heals Jevar, 1d6 ⇒ 2, saying, "Reknar dispatch this last one and I will get Jevar. Jevar stay down! If you can hear me wait until I pull you up."

Reknar moves up and misses as does Koldur. Hycan hits but the zombie stays up, burning and attempting to slam into him. The zombies come in and flail away but to no avail.

The darkness orb is basically right outside the Melee combat area. The archers would be hard pressed to find an angle on their wall to be able to 'see' the ground fight. I wouldn't be able to manage that far away plus it's safer closer.

Koldur slashes into one of the zombies rending it limb from limb. Reknar misses yet again, leaving it up to Oscar to finish it off or wait.
