I was just looking to see how much loot Yig was taking. It's a nice ring both in effect and theme so I don't see parting with it.

I'll mark the amulets.


I need to know who is taking the magic items and which ones. In few words: split the loot XD

Also, a related question: are you bringing with you the Sacred Idol, or are you leaving it at home?

Yighuk has the ring on. I believe Oozulla is our crossbow user so should take the bolts. I'd like whomever can use it to bring the scroll of fly (may need it if we need to fight fliers). The boots boost acrobatics so perhaps Vek for moving through threatened squares.

Anything I'm forgetting?


There was an error in the U column formula (referring to the wrong cell of column B), I think I have fixed it but please check again your amount of gp gained, 'cause I suppose it will be different.

About the equipment:
Vrek could use the Boots of course, but maybe it's better for someone of the PCs to use them.
Again Vrek, I'm not sure if the Mwk longspear you said where in the common loot is the same already taken by Ryzztyl... in case it is, Vrek could use the Mwk spear (not long) brought by Yig into Nakpik's store.

Both Oozulla and Ryzztyl have a crossbow, but Ryz usually prefers his Jolt cantrip (at least when bot-ed by me).
Maybe Oozzulla would like to take Tartuk's Mwk Sickle since she is already using a common one...
And finally could the Mw Light Shield be useful for some of your cohort/npcs underlings?

Ooz, can you update Ternock's alias with his new Animal Companion? It will be useful for the next encounters. Thanks.

I'm still waiting for your equipment splitting, and also for an IC reply to the situation where your PCs currently are (in front of an old wooden bridge).

In the mean time Summer has arrived, as the Nemesis of Stark of Winterfell would say, and usually in summer PBP take a slow pace during this time.
Well we already had a very slow pace since the last months, but maybe it's better if everybody knows the plans of the rest of the players.

So, Oozulla stated her holidays previously in another post (mid-July & the first days of August... unless I forgot something).

Personally I'll be away from home starting from July the 10th to July 18th on mountain trip, and also from July the 28th to August the 5th meeting mine friends in Belgium. During those weeks I should be able to check the board few times, but don't expect a regular replying to your post.

What about Yig and Ryz?

I shouldn't have too much of a change. Late August I'll be taking some time but we aren't going anywhere for an extended time so should be a regular poster regardless.

As far as gear goes I'd forgotten that Ryz had the Mwk Spear. So Yig will buy a Mwk.spear for Vek.

I'll leave the rest for Oozulla and Ryz to determine.

It's pretty much generic cave salamander with Bodyguard archetype (Bodyguard for my Honour Guard :)) I took Improved Nat. Armor.
It get's 4 tricks and those are Defend, Sneak, Watch and Come. He is young and still need to learn to Attack or other tricks.


There are a few things I can't figure out about the animal companion build:
Cave salamander only have Darkvision and not Low-light vision.
The HP should be 11 and not 14 (4.5*2 + CON-mod*2),
Should have only 1 Feat and not 2, where is Endurance coming from?
The bonus tricks at 1st level are only 1, 4 is the maximum number of Tricks he currently can have (3 from Int 1 plus 1 bonus from Animal Companion), but the others 3 must be taught to the AC using Handle Animal during the game.
And what is the Note (Activating the master's Shared Vigilance ability will activate this ability, too.) referring to?

A part from those things it seems a very nice and useful build!

1) Cave salamander is animal, and according to Animal type it has low-light vision
2) HP, OK, should be fixed. I counted 8 first and 4 second, but I'll do as you say now.

About low-light vision, I don't think it applies to all the animal companions, as you can see in this url low-light vision is listed in the Special Quality of many ACs, but not to all of them. If it was for all of them, why even list it in the AC format of every single species?
Anyway, without arguing the cave salamander can have both DV and LlV since she is a gift of Old Sharptooth.

The campaign HP rule (full first, as PFS the others) is for Player Characters, not for the NPCs, and NPCs include cohorts and animal companions (familiar are an exception since they have half their master HP)

In 9 hours I'll be AFK for a Larp Event in the weekend, and then on mine holidays in mountain for a week. I should have internet access back on sunday night, if the mountain residence will fulfill its brochure.
If not I'll back fully online into July the 18th's evening.

Opponent being 10' from the ground.
Does that mean he could be reached by anyone one the ground using reach weapon (for example, Vrek's longspear)?
Can it be reached with acrobatics check (for example, Ternock is 6', if he jumps 4' up it will bring him into reach to make a strike)?


Of course he is within the reach of a longspear or some other reach weapons.
And Ternock could of course jump to temporary reach him, but 4 ft means a DC 16 Acrobatic check.

Oops! I recently discovered my error: according to NPC hitpoints rules (July 9), Ternock should have 7hp (not 12) and when he received channeled damage for 8hp he should be down. I updated Til'Verth profile, but missed that for a human. Not on purpose... Because of that, I was thinking he is 1hp left and then Oozulla healed him for 3hp, but actually he was unconscious. Sorry for this mistake. I will update his profile and follow his hp more carefully from now. But how to deal with that situation? He should be down, because of that damage previously. Can I roleplay that he is falling on the ground as he's nerves give up this turn? Should I keep him in action?

I'll post only Oozulla's action this turn, for GM to decide, how to deal with Ternock

Let's keep Ternock alive and in action, at 1 hp, with a maximum of 7 hp according to the hitpoint rules.


Remembering you that could be better to heal your wounds after the end of the combat encounter... I'm going to ask you something else.

You are very close to your next level-up (the 4th), and I was thinking back about the future of the campaign.
I really hope that Szzlax will be back online one day, but for now you are still 3...
I wish to gift you an extra "leadership-like" feat for all of your PCs (well, Oozulla already have the Squire feat, so she will gain a Free non-leadership Feat instead and not another "leadership-like" feat).

Any opinion about it?

The current options I have in mind are:

Allied Cohort
And a new homebrewed one that I'll call "Intelligent Item Cohort" for now, and who will be referring to the rules for crating intelligent item cohorts as shown in Cohorts and Companions.

PS: I sent a PM to Yig, in case he miss it.

EDIT: Added Allied Cohort, to allow the creation of NPCs of every class not included into the Squire/Torchbearer options.


Oozulla's player PMed me with a proposal of a possible new player joining the campaign.
While it was easier to introduce another Chosen One (or maybe 2) in the first part of the campaign, it is not something impossible at this point of the campaign.
Since we talked about it before, I'm asking Yig and Ryz opinions about this possibility.
I may have another potential player too, but I was waiting to ask you if you wish someone else in this campaign to join the party.

This considerations has nothing to do with the other discussion about the leadership-like bonus feats.
Although having 4/5 players & 4/5 cohorts will impact the balance of the combat encounters, I'm used to play games & campaign even with a Large number of Players (mine personal record is 14), so it's not a problem form the GM point of view.

To keep it short: I felt from my bicycle on Wednesday morning and spend next several days recovering. Now I am back to gaming. Except my hands still hurt. X-Ray was clean, no bones broken (except one tooth, which can be fixed later).

As far as the feats and new player I'm fine with both/either as long as you're ok with working in the new player GM TAU.


I have no problem in having 1 or 2 new players joining the campaign. I'll manage to have them fit in the chosen-ship story-line (got a couple of ideas about it).

@ Ryz: You can pick one of the Feats, at the next level-up. I'll not choose the feat for you. Feel free to choose it from the list, then we shall build together the NPC and the reason why he is coming serving your PC. Or instead, if you wish the Intelligent Item Cohort, we could discuss it, could be one item already in possess of Ryz who is "awakening" or another one you will find soon.

Yig got already an hint about a possible cohort option, and agreed with mine suggestion. So you will see it In-Game very soon.

Ooz: already has a Squire cohort, so she could pick another non-leadership feat for free at the next level-up, basically she is recovering the Feat slot of level 3 that she spent on Squire.


I have found another player for the campaign, he will probably say hello in this Discussion thread soon.
With Oozulla's mentioned friend I'll hopefully have the 2 new PCs join the party together, I'll adjust their backstory with their respective players to fit into the campaign arc.

Just to add more into the campaign's plate, I've added Occult Adventures as a legal book for the campaign.

Someone will probably use it for his cohort, but the option will be open even for the new PCs.

Embereyes is your healer, buffer and controller. Do not expect himself to do any damage, ever, but still love him even more around you.

Oozulla, I still haven't received any news from your friend. I'd like to have him join the game together with Helikon/Embereyes for simplicity, but in the meantime I don't want to have the new Nature Oracle wait for too long before beginning to play.

You are right, as for Ternock, companions don't have traits (unless by the Additional Traits feat); gear is ok with the things he previously had, nothing new magically appearing from nowhere....
The spear was of Mwk quality if I remember correctly.

Campaign hint: since you have time, maybe the spellcasters can try to identify the magic items the Wyvarans had.

I'll correct the spear, thanks. First Medium for me as well. The class seems to have some good roleplay possibilities but definitely let me know if I flub something rules wise :)

Is anyone interested in the studded leather? Yig could swap it with his chain shirt just for the lower armor penalty but if someone can make better use I'd prefer they have it.
