Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Spoiler:
Durgen you don't think he is lying

male Human fighter 1

"Ogres, eh?" Kjell smiles as he pats his pickaxe,"well, they fall just as quick to this."

male elf sylvan wild blooded sorcerer

The conversation apparently having come to a close, Maldrin asks one final question, "Is there anything else we should be worried about up there?" After receiving an answer, he moves to the edge of the camp, waiting for the party to move out.

Sunset stands, brushes herself down and says quietly,

"A name....?" She stares intently at the old fellow.

Um, I thought we were camping for the night? *Puzzled*

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

"Anything else that worries you in a forest young lad" he looks at Sunset "Names Tom, Tom Carver"

Lantern Lodge

Female Chelexian Aasimaar Oracle (Life Mystery)

Lumi will smile and attempt to shake hands with Tom? lets be friends .

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

"Al'right li' miss" he shakes Luminiere's hand

well you can camp for the night or leave

male elf sylvan wild blooded sorcerer

For some reason, I thought it was around noon still. If it's evening, we may as well stay and camp.

Sunset gives a slight smile as Tom and Lumi 'make friends', even as she goes about checking the camp site.

So, who's on first?

Spoiler:
What's on second. :P

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

if you stay Tom will ask you to pay 4 copper each, which comes with the use of the fire, a round of watch from him and a quick simple dinner, he'll also try to sell you some animal skins, at a silver piece each

Sunset shrugs at Tom's request, handing over the copper though she shows no real interest in the animal skins.

Perception:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 (Her roll when it's her turn at watch)

Lantern Lodge

Female Chelexian Aasimaar Oracle (Life Mystery)

i don't quite have copper. do you have change for a gold piece? or would you allow me to refill your skin with a blessing from the Dawnflower? Lumi proposes.

perception (For when Lumi gets her turn to watch) 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Cheliax

Male Dwarf Wizard (Invoker)/5

Durgen pays his 4 cp and will take a shift when it is dark

male elf sylvan wild blooded sorcerer

Maldrin will pay his 4 coppers, and look over the hides to compare them to how Shayelu prepared them. Otherwise, he is uncharacteristically quiet as the challenges of the day catch up to him.

Lantern Lodge

Female Chelexian Aasimaar Oracle (Life Mystery)

Lumi will hand her gold piece. and await her change. i will mark the transaction on the sheet

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Tom hands Lminiere the change exactly. The night is rather uninteresting and unusually quiet for a night in the forest

so will start with Sunset's watch
Sunset

Spoiler:
during your watch you see a strange glowing apparation float near the camp a few times

DM ulgulanoth:
Knowledge(Nature):1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Knowledge(dungeoneering):1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7(Untrained)
Knowledge(Local):1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15(Untrained).

Sunset will creep over and nudge the person who is next to go on watch with the intent of having them see what she sees/has seen.

Stealth:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

"Psssst!"

Who is on second watch?

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

I believe its Luminiere

Sunset

Spoiler:
you have no clue, though this is not something natural or made from nature

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

well i guess we'll move on a little (if this is actually still alive...)

Sunset

Spoiler:
the floating lights start to make strange but nice noises, roll a will save

Bugger...

Will Save:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Well, t'is either pass near by a hair, or not enough by a nose...:P

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Sunset

Spoiler:
you manage to keep your wits from the fascinating display, stopping the urge to follow the lights into the deep forest

Shaking her head, even lifting her hat to rub at her skull, Sunset grimaces as the effects wash through her mind,

"Psst! Guys? GUYS!" She whispers and pokes her comrades, while still trying to keep an eye upon the weird lights.

Perception:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Know, Nature:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 (Another go at trying to figure out what the deal is with the dancing lights.)

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Sunset

Spoiler:
the lights don't really move away, also it ain't a knowledge nature, its knowledge dungoneering chech

Know Dungeon:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19 (Untrained, otherwise known as 'Taking a guess'. :P)

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Sunset

Spoiler:
you think you've heard something about evil lights affecting people in the woods, taking them away never to be seen again

Male Dwarf Wizard (Invoker)/5

Durgen will shake the sleep from his eyes and take a look at the lights trying to determine what it is

Knowledge Dungeoneering 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Durgen

Spoiler:
you've heard of these kinds of things before, you think it might be a creature known as a will-o-whisp, though it isn't acting like a normal will-o-whisp and seems smaller than usual from what you have heard

male elf sylvan wild blooded sorcerer

I'm going to have to pull out of this game. Real life is simply too much of a challenge right now.

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

sorry to see you go
though i'm not sure this game is actually still going

So, a quick roll-call/show of hands and maybe open up the recruitment thread again?

I'm still here

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

so we have 2 players left... you two still wish to carry on?

Aye, maybe put us back in town. Rope in a couple more folks and lets have at it. :)

I'm good for whatever. Some more folks would probably help :)

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

right so, open up the call, see if anyone else joins

"Hiro, Magus, ready to show what swords and sorcery is all about. Well met and lets make a two bards tale (an adventure so awesome, one bard is not sufficient to record the deeds sufficiently). I can fight as a warrior, but have the defensive skills of a mage.

Lifts brim of tri-corn hat.

"Hail and well met, stranger." The Half-Elf lass looks appraising-ly at the boisterous sounding newcomer. "The appellation is 'Sunset', which so far has been as good as any a name to hang a hat over." She smiles though there is still a distance in her eyes.

And a good day to you and best wishes. May our adventure truly make an epic tale. :)

"Good to meet you, I'm Durgen Grimhelm." Durgen eyes you up and down seeming to take stock of everything you have and the way you move. You notice the symbol of Torag displayed on his tunic.

Male Elf Cavalier 1 (Order of the Dragon)

On my way to Goblin Squash Stables I bump into a group of adventurers on the road: Well met. I look around me cheerfully, glad to be back: What news in Sandpoint?

"Sunset, after examining your smile, attitude, and demeanor, your appelation is quite redundant. Having traveled in a world of 'Ronan' with no honor or principles, it is great to be a part of something greater. Can you give me "the gouge" (a warrior term for a quick debriefing outlining past events in the most simplistic terms as warriors are typically not very smart)

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

So... I believe you're all back in Sandpoint, since you lost the tracks of the three individuals in the forest... right?

Works for me Master Dm. :)

Male Dwarf Wizard (Invoker)/5

[occ]Sounds like that will work[/ooc]

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

"They... in black... dark hoods... and capes.... oh and masks, very pretty masks, made of silver they were!"
Voronwe

Spoiler:
you can't tell if he's telling the truth or pulling your leg, its hard to tell with him

Durgen

Spoiler:
he's telling the turth, though he might be keeping something from you
