Not feeling good about stick around, Durgen grips his dorn derger and moves to leave the academy.
"It's useless to keep looking here. We should go," Agia sighs. "Perhaps you could come with us and help us, strange beings?"
"Meh...waste of time carrying this stupid head smacker anyway..." Sunset says casually with a shrug, as she drops her light mace.
"Now then, mateys. What can you tell us about things around here? Anything interesting happen of late?" She asks the four ambulatory room furnishings conversationally.
She glances after Durgen "Oi! What's your game then?"
"This is a waste of time, I'm leaving"
"Wait, Durgen, we need their aid! Stay and help us persuade them to join our search. But no, you're right. We need to leave now. I... what should we do?" Agia asks in confusion, then turns to follow Durgen. "Let's go, Sunset. We can come back later and ask. Maybe write a polite letter, send a fruit basket"
Sunset stare after Agia and Durgen as they begin to stumble out., lifting a hand to scratch at her brow....
Here, mates..." She calls "We're still workin' t'gether, right? We're still kind of on some one's 'To do list', right? We know said some one has very strong links to here, right?" She calls out, pointing out some very important aspects of the groups activities/relations.
"Besides..." Sunset adds. "Can any one tell me exactly what these little curmudgeons actually are?" She points a finger at the freaky foursome still flitting about around the statue.
"Okay, you flying things, come with us, we are outta here."
Hashar drops his large sword and looks up at the creatures, "I agree these creatures should join our party, but we came here to look and obviously we should still check out this tower. Since its our friends here home, we can make sure it's still safe." Leaving his sacred greatsword behind he moves towards to the door of the tower to make sure none of the ones with runes are hiding inside waiting to ambush or steal from his new comrades.

Aden drops his sword and walks away.
Knew we shoulda chucked it into a mountain

"I'm glad to see somebody else has some sense," Agia says as she pauses a second for Aden to catch up, "But don't you think you should keep your sword, Aden? Why did you drop it? You will need it."
...You are right, Agia. My father GAVE me that blade. What the hells would make me abandon my fathers.sword...
Aden jogs back and picks up the blade, then catches up to Agia.
Hashar looks at the winged creatures and see if there new companions fear the these experiments inside there home.
Sunset stubbornly plants her feet where every they are on the stairs,
"Hey! I did ask a question, all nice and polite, what are these things?" She again indicates the four little munchkins that some how seem to attached themselves to the group. "Leaving is all well and good, but there will be consequences..." Sunset looks back at the door.
"By the by, who'd we know who's good at working their way around certain...things?" She wonders out loud.
Durgen isn't interested in what they are apparently
Sunset tilts her head, "Well that is a right handy talent to have." She agrees. "Though, asking for things 'Sight unseen' is always a tad silly, so a look in is what I'm seeking." She replies to 'Lil Red'.
Aden feeling like he wants to be done with this ring and leave begins to do just that but is wise enough to recognise some odd behavior. He'd never relinquish his fathers blade. Why did he drop it? As much as he wanted to leave he could not. He was a bodyguard of the Order of the.Shield. These people were of common stock, some coming from his very home to face the.danger this ring was. He was bound by DUTY to remain.
Sunset, strike no bargain with it. You're all talking like these things are lifelong friends. They are not. We should not have some winged nats deter us from the mission. We may persue answers elsewhere, but they should.not remain.
"If you all don't fear these inside, I don......." He stares at his blade then shakes his head and looks to Aden, "Not lifelong friends, but they are coming with."
"Hah! You've got to get to know me better than that!" Sunset declares to Aden, before again turning her attention to these four little surprises.
"Okay then, how about you.." And she points to the little flitter that said they could teleport, "Pop onto the other side of that door and see about getting the key to get it open? You said you could..." Though she eyes the snake/sword speculatively.

It disappears and the door opens seconds later with the little creature behind it. Inside you see three creatures chained to the wall with golden chains, the first is a half-elf of around 14 years of age, she would be pretty if it weren't for her eyes, which are pure black orbs constantly running black tears made of something that looks like oil. A black aura surrounds her. Then there is a big half-ape half-bull creature, it is covered in large quills that are dripping with some sort of blue liquid. Finally there is a humanoid creature with a fish head and web fingers and scales over its body, it has huge silver eyes on the side of its head and really big teeth that leave its jaw, needel like thin and sharp.
Sunset calls over her shoulder, "Hey guys? You really want to come and see this!" She calls, then to the flittering foursome,
"Pshaw! And here you were saying there weren't anything interesting..." She takes a step closer to better peer into the room.
Aden moves up protectively in front of Sunset. Why can't we just leave
Careful Sunset, they're likely chained for a reason.
Sunset just tilts her hat...offering Aden a "Ja think?" kind of look. (¬_¬)
"Well...look on the bright side! If this is what they've got in the attic, can you imagine the fun we're going to have in the basement?" Sunset fairly rubs her hands together in anticipation.
Outside, Agia turns to Durgen. "I wonder what is keeping them? We better go back in and make sure there's no trouble." She heads back inside to fetch her comrades.
Hashar looks down and the spiked chain on his side, "Yes but the most dangerous break free from them, like me...." He starts to walk towards the doorway.
Durgen nods, "Yes it is strange they didn't come with us"
Agia left as 'instructed' but once outside, became alarmed that some of the party was still inside. Having fulfilled her instruction to leave, she is heading back in to find the missing party members when the below occurs...

Agia follows the little green flying thing, assuming Durgen doesn't raise any objections.
I'm detect evil on The little green guy. then following unless it does detect that way
Aden dearly wishes to simply move over and unchain her, but realises this IS a wizard academy. She could be anything. He looks to Sunset for approval.
