Also I note this in the newest post, but I have a general rule about checks. That is, some checks have specific skills necessary, but if you can give me a convincing reason why your character could use another check, I might just let you use it ;)
I just went with arcana cause it's bookish. Not sure what check you prefer in this case.

I wonder, though: I recall a discussion in these boards about Diplomacy being able (or not) to affect PCs' action.
I'm fine with it either way (affecting or not), really, I just wonder what our GM's stance on the subject is.

Technically you can't Diplomacize other PC's (in so far as they have a choice whether or not to respond to your Diplomacy check) So if Gryff wants to he can.

Also, does anyone know of a good dungeon creator/map maker that I can place tiles to help with combat?
I've seen other DMs in the play-by-post section link maps and placements, you could start by asking one of them. But, I, do not know.

@ Dr Awesome - It's up to you if you want to use maps or not. Pathfinder is quite map-oriented. However, it shouldn't be too difficult to run combat without them. I just foresee a lot of to properly convey things.
