Jerax enters Meridian's tent. Enter Meridian/Jerax slash fanfiction here.

Pivenzobili says "A year ago some Bellflower tillers tried to recruit my village. The master of the woods didn't like them so we chased them away and skinned the ones we found and fed them to the fiend piranha. Looks like they found other recruits." He goes to sleep with a smile on his face.

The rest of the night passes uneventfully.

In the morning Pivenzobili tells everyone that the village is just a half a day away now.

When second watch ends Ileosa gently awakens Meri If she isn't awake already that is. to take third watch before she retires to her own tent.

She smiled when she saw Izrail asleep in his bedroll within her tent. Instead of sliding into her bedroll just across from him, she slid into his. Cuddling up to him as quietly as she could.

-----------

The next morning Ileosa asked Pivenzobili to once again retreave her a rabbit for the river. "And this time I would also like a guard, since the pygmies showed they where getting more... Bold." She said.

In the morning Izrail feels specially relaxed considering last night harsh ambush. An angel must have visited me tonight.

He wakes up late, just in time to hear Ileosa asking for a guard. He gets up and exits the tent to meet the rest. "Good morning! I've heard you just as I woke, Ileosa. If you think its appropiate I'll keep watch. I promise my eyes will be on the hunt for pygmys, I wouldn't want to disturb a beautiful lady bathing." he says playful but honest. "And you are right, they are getting bolder. We should keep watch at all times, maybe next time they don't wait until its dark."

She gives Izrail a grin as he volunteers himself to be her guard. "Ever the gentleman Izrail. Keep this up and I may even swoon." She said before she leaned close to him, resting her face close to his ear. "You made a wonderful replacement for a blanket last night. My thanks." She then walked away from him, glance back for only a moment to see the look upon his face, before calling out to Meri. "Meri dear! Are you going to come take a bath with me again today?"

Izrail gets stunned for a split second before understanding what Ileosa means... and blushing as a red rose with a huge smile.

He waits for Meri to answer then follows the pair and keeps watch between the forest and them, keeping an eye for pygmys and honing his ear just in case they shout for help.

Izrail is a knight in shining armor, even if his armor isn't very shiny and he is decided to do anythyng to further his goals and protect his loved ones. So he never turns to face the river and is at enough distance to not hindrance Ileosa and Meri but being able to hear them. Let's say, 40-60 ft is enough DM?

While the ladies are washing, Jerax gets dressed and pulls out another trail ration from his backpack to eat, waiting for the others to come back from the river. Don't know what happened. Not seeing my last post.
Kirk stands before the woods examining where it is we are supposed to go.
Judging from what I'm seeing on the map so far, if we went another way we could possibly be ambushed. I guess I don't see any other route other than straight through the mold. I don't trust this stuff. Does anyone know anything about these spores? Seems the stuff has infected the whole wood.
Kirk then spits on the ground in disgust. Suddenly he gets a "far off" look again.
What if we burnt the whole thing down?

Ouch. Not very good at survival checks.
Kirk gathers up what wood he can find that is not damp from the morning dew. Using the steel and flint he starts a small fire using some twigs. Gradually he adds bigger chunks of wood. She stepped just in front of her friend to keep any vegepymies from getting to him before she called out to Kirk. "Show us you're good with that sling, aim up just a bit and hit it in the head."

If she can five foot step in front of Jerax she does so. Then used her move action to give Kirk a +2 to hit. Then with her standard action, readies to hit any pygmy that gets past Izrail. If she can't five foot step in front of Jerax, she moved in front of him and just tells Kirk what to do, no bonus and everything else stays the same.
