Yeah no tools so more of a reason to take 10, so it will be 10+10. Also, the silver pieces are for materials. So Kev will have to look for that much in silver pieces worth of materials starting with wood and then sinew when we kill a boar or an animal for a feast and the animal skin for the Kev's new Erastil Holy Symbol.


I still would like to know which kind of bow you are planning on making and if it will be MasterCraft or not. So you won't need to pay the cost, you will find it. The DC is still 12 and your check would be 13 (10+5-2). I will double the time needed to craft an item if you take a 10. 12 x 13 = 156 sp for 2 weeks work. So a short bow would be done in 4 weeks and a longbow would be done in 10 weeks.

@ GM this is a cool turn on this book, but not sure what you want us to do here. This kind of hults the campaign. We can't hunt someone that can't be hunted and withoug him dead we can't move forward with brevoy and start the kingdom.

To answer this, yes you will need to kill the Stag Lord. There is still plenty of places to explore let alone the new locations from book 2.

That is fine for doubling the time, the way I roll, it would probably take longer. He will make a longbow and sure why not, make it mastercraft. This follows Old Deadeye's edicts of working hard and Katrina will be pleased with a mastercraft a lot more. This way, it is easily magicked as well. Kev will work on the buckler, skin, and bow at the same time splitting his time between them while on the road and in garrison. Unless of course, he finds a metal buckler.

At Quince, it looks like it will be a while before Kev is ready for you to be conduit.

Wishing Quince knew masterwork transformation.


After Kevros gives her the longbow she can use masterwork Transformation on it. So in 10 weeks the bow will be finished. Near the half end hopefully the group gets to town, can order the regents, or finds them as they travel.

From the materials Kevros found and some other resources soon to be found the crude wooden buckler and animal skin holy symbol can be finished within a few days.

Are there anythings we know about those squares prior to getting there threats, sights to see, obstacles that might hinder us and so on?

If there is no further knowledge I suggest the swiftest route exploring as we go.

I was waiting for the go ahead from you. Tristan's event is more internal. He is even more consumed by vengeance with the Stag Lord now that he has slipped away. So much so that he has withdrawn from the group a bit and is focused on nothing but his capture and destruction. Through prayer Ragathiel has taken note of his conviction and has sent his herald in Tristan's dreams. The herald infuses Tristan with the vengeful power of Ragathiel granting his gestalt. I was going to wright up a narrative for this, but was waiting until you were ready and give me the go ahead.

I prefer playing it out with buckler and Gestalt but thank you! Erastil doesn't believe in handouts so that is why Kev was making the buckler and getting the skin to craft which he now has enough materials to do both. I can hold off on the Gestalt until it is fully made and skin has been cured, crafted, and stretched over the buckler.

Quince, and GM Wolf too, correct me if I am wrong but I think I am half way there role playing wise since I have all the parts to make my buckler and the skin that will act as a holy symbol. Once finished, which he can do while traveling, we can finish Kev's transformation into Gestalt Crossbowman/Warpriest of Erastil with Quince's and Katrina's help.

Its really up to how everyone wants to play it out. I envisioned Kevros' swearing his service to start a process (activates gestalt) that ends with a dramatic even in the future (uses a new ability at a crucial time). I hope the suspense consumes you all.

Perhaps the simplest solution is for us to get the gestalt classes lined up. Allowing those who aren't waiting a rp moment to use the new abilities. Those who are waiting for events can hold off on using new features that are overt. For instance Quince might benefit from improved saves once GM Wolf kicks off the gestalt go ahead but won't use a strange new ability until "the special moment" hits." This lets things like improved BAB, saves and skills get into action for everyone and once the stars align people can bust out never seen before abilities.

What do you guys think that might let us have our cake and eat it as well.

I can see Katrina being spiritualist, or maybe a Druid. Looking over Spiritualist, I am thinking less so unless it is maybe an ancestor phantom?
