Way to go Dregan!

Well, this IS exciting!

Vosil's deft whip-work brings the owlbear tumbling down on its beak. There it struggles to stand, only to be slain by hammer, ice, and arrow.

Asha nods at Naralesh, and rushes around join the the rest, in case her healing is needed.

The disarmed bandit draws his longbow and shoots at Vosil, but misses.

Then a voice roars, thick with the slur of drink. "Wha' s'goin' on here!!!! Intruders! Here? Kill'em! KILL 'EM ALL!"

Vosil winces as the arrow strikes him, although thankfully it appears not to have penetrated his ribcage. (The damage it's done to his white damask shirt is another matter, however.) Aloud he says only "Well, that settles the question of whether the Stag Lord's real, or not, I'd say." The tone is dry.

Moving forwards, he strides around the corpse of the dead owlbear, measuring the range carefully. His whip flicks out again and he lashes at the bow the Stag Lord is carrying, aiming to remove it from his grasp.

Are there grid references? I'm moving to within 15 ft of the Stag Lord, but not right next to the bandits on his right

Magna realizes this is it. This is the time of reckoning. She is surrounded. She is facing dead, in her face, now. She is done for.
She can beg for mercy. She can drop her greataxe and cry for a chance to live.
Or she can decide to die while proving worthy of Torag's smile. Worthy of a place in his forge, working for all eternity. Prove herself brave.
Bold and Resolute. Time to die.
She asks for Torag to let her drop one more enemy before going to help him in his realm.
Power attack with +1 Greataxe, using her Weal's Champion ability.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 3 = 25 (If not evil -3)
Damage Roll: 1d12 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 1 = 20 (If not evil -1)
In addition, for 1 round after the holy tactician successfully strikes an evil creature, all non-evil allies within 30 feet of her gain a +1 competence bonus on attack rolls as well as a +1 competence bonus on damage rolls.
If she drops Akiros she will move just below Naralesh, and if now will take a 5' step NW.

Quick post before I sleep. Busy day tomorrow, might not be able to post until night.

Startled by Dovan's acrobatic maneuvers, Naralesh shot an arrow at him as he returned, but the bow was loose in his hands and he cursed as it flew far from the man.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Piercing: 1d6 ⇒ 2

If Akiros survives, both elementals attck him (and the Earth one charges, for +2). If not, they attack Dovan as below, burrowing beneath the wall.

The elementals don't let their quarry escape, melding with the ground and following the stealthy swordsman relentlessly.

Earth Slam (Power Attack): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 Bludgeoning: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Mud Slam (Power Attack): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Bludgeoning: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Ignoring the bandit behind him and the two suddenly-blinded bandits in front, Vosil seizes the opportunity and dives forward, seeking out his quarry.

Moving 2 squares South, 1 square Southwest (adjacent the Stag Lord) and 1 square West; ending up 2 squares West of the Stag Lord. This movement provokes, but I'm fairly sure that blinded opponents don't get an AoO; in which case only the bandit behind me gets an AoO. Stag Lord doesn't get an AoO as only melee weapons threaten, unless you have the right feat combination - here's hoping that he doesn't!

Coming to his feet, he flicks his whip in a high arc aiming to pluck the Stag Lord's bow from his hand.

Disarm attempt: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 54 Doesn't miss

Edric: if the bandits use their AoOs trying to hit me, you're free to move without provoking - suggest you engage the Stag Lord while he's disarmed?

We can only move through the bandit squares if they are considered helpless - blinded doesn't make them helpless unless the GM says so... hopefully though...

Thankfully keeping his shield high had allowed Edric to keep most of his night-vision as the burst of light blinded the bandits in front of him. Vosil was first to act, bravely attempting to shoulder past the bandits and close with the Stag Lord.

Seeing an opening Edric shoved forward with his shield, creating a gap as he dropped the shield, pulling out his earthbreaker and charging the Stag Lord.

Since I'm not sure how OGGM wants to do this I'm rolling acrobatics just in case.
Acro: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 1 - 4 = 2

Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 3 = 22
Damage: 2d6 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 + 3 = 12

The ideal turn is: Move - 4 squares south, Standard: attack the stag lord (hopefully flanking with Vosil). If that doesnt work Edric will strike the blinded bandit to clear his way (ignore the extra +3 in this case)

Don't have the rules with me, but I'm sure you can move through an enemy's square at any time, you just provoke; I'm hoping that blinded foes don't count as threatening any square and thus won't get an AoO. Even if I'm wrong, blinded = 50% miss chance, so how bad can it be?*

*Oh yes. I went there.

Kaalib blinked in surprise at the humans. They were tough, sure that was obvious. But what they weren't was smart. They were both still in range of his flames. He figured he'd oblige. The scales on his belly and neck began to glow like coals as he belched flame again, bathing the wall and encompassing the same two bandits again.

Burning Hands DC14: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 3, 2) + 5 = 17

They're both still in range, and though there's an elevation change, it's also a cone, so it goes down as much as it goes from side to side, so I'm pretty sure I can hit them both again.

You will need an acrobatics check to get through them, Vosil. You need to beat their flat-footed CMD+5 to move through. They will not get an AoO if you fail (since they're blinded), but they will still stop your movement.

Great, I think everyone's turn is (finally) complete! Let's see who gets to live...

Dovan looks on with amazement as his rapier spins through the air off into a corner. Magna and one of the elementals hit Akiros, but the man hangs on - barely - fighting to the last.

The last comes quickly for both he and Dovan. Kaalib's flames engulf them both, and they die screaming in pain. Unfortunately, the flames also take down the elementals, caught in the cone of fire.

On the other side of the wall, the battle takes a turn in your favor. Dregan's arrow hits the Stag Lord in the side, while Edric shoves the bandit in front of him aside and scores a solid hit on the Stag Lord's leg. Vosil yanks the precious bow from his hand, drawing a grunt of anger from the bandit leader.

Acting quickly, the Stag Lord draws his longsword, stepping up to Vosil. A quick cut, a slash to the arm, is all he can manage against the canny Varisian. Clearly he isn't as good with the sword as he is with the bow.

att: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21 dmg: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 -3 hp, Vosil
att: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Beyond that, the two blind bandits fall to the ground and beg for their lives, still trying in vain to clear the glare from their eyes. The final bandit, with only his dagger, flees out of the gate into the night.

Desna is with Vosil, and the blade that would have opened his throat instead gashes his arm. But his luck can't hold forever: it's not an issue any longer of worrying about just his shirt; his breeches too are now caked with his blood - and even that will cease to matter if he's wounded again. Whatever that arrow hit, it was something important.

Sometimes discretion really is the better part of valour, but timing is everything.

Vosil waits for Edric to strike, and takes advantage of the distraction to step out of combat. He does bow as he takes his leave, but it's not his best effort. Blood loss has made him dizzy.

Readying action to wait until Edric goes, so I can provide flanking bonus.

Then: 5 ft step out of mêlée; move action to retrieve potion of CLW; standard action to drink it.

Little time to think, Talia shoots Kaalib a look - Thank you! - and runs to the west. Casting a glance over her shoulder as she goes, the playwright spies Magna, breathing heavily, around a heap of smoking bodies. Seems she's got things well in hand. On around the corner, and there he is, the near mythical Stag Lord, bloodied and battered and flanked by Vosil and Edric, the mouthy Varisian seems to have drawn most of the Stag Lord's ire. Not surprising.

Moving forward, buckler and wand clasped in one hand, longsword in the other, Talia approaches, past the simpering bandits, speaking in a slow and measured tone as she goes.

"And so it seems that your men have chosen their fates - names to be etched in Pharasma's ledger, soon to be forgotten on this world, less important than a decaying rope bridge or a dusty and vine choked shrine. Mere footnotes - nay, endnotes - for the histories to be written. What will be your fate, former Bandit King? Surrender now, and you can have your story told, in your own words, and own an honorable death. Keep going, and I'll make sure your name is never spoken again. All for naught, your life worth less than a cup of dust."

Double move putting Talia directly to the northeast of the Stag Lord. She's hoping to get the guy to surrender, or at least enrage him enough to draw the man's attention from Vosil. Free action: continue performance. Stag Lord takes -1 attack and damage rolls, and saves vs. fear and enchantment effects. 6/12 bardic performance rounds left.

Buckler-hand is in use, so Talia's AC is 14

Naralesh glares at the hated Stag Lord, moving to where he has a clear line of sight to the murderous bandit. He wants nothing more than to slay this hated foe, but he stays his hand. Readying an action to cast snowball if the bandit does anything other than throw his weapons to the ground and surrender.

Hopping down from the wall next to the cleric, the little dragon went over to where the fight was at this time. He waved the cleric on, hoping to get her to follow. There were enough hurt people on the front, it would be appropriate if no one died on their side here. Kaalib didn't like being in debt, and a death or two on the wrong side would make for a troublesome finish.

Also double move, climb down and get to where the Stag Lord is, although a bit away. I don't think I can get there in one.

Ribs crack as Edric's blow slams into the Stag Lord's side. Asha gives a quick nod to Kaalib, following the little kobold towards the final fight.
