Everyone is up. The will-o' does something at start of round 2 but it has no effect in the battle for now, thus Rhoreen and Rūha can go too.

Knowing there’s more magic dust to be had, and not wanting to get into it, Yambul holds the door against the willow of the wisp - or tries to. He holds his ground and readies an attack against anything he can sense to the east if it closes.

Zzvkgrogk quaffs a Sheild extract (cherry) and a SuperRat potion (dark chocolate). He follows the others staying to the rear, readying his rifle should the Will o’ the wisp choose to challenge the flailing Yambul.

Chaance grits her teeth, before taking a look through the doorway, fully expecting what she sees...

...and fails to convince the ancient part of her brain that understands better than she what danger lies ahead.

"Not on your life..." The elf's center of gravity is already leaning in the direction from whence they came.


Iron Gods: Iron maps;

The group endures the sight of the poltergeists, except for Zzvkgrogk, focused on the eastern empty room waiting for a will-o' lights, and Chaance, who starts to run out of the wreck.

Yambul feels something to his right and slashes to the air, only realizing it was his long hair moved by the elf running at his back.

Zzvkgrogk keeps his aim focused, but sees nothing more than Yambul at the door.

Rhoreen loses no time to burst magic missiles on the poltergeist, the creature energy being half consumed by the burst!

Rūha attacks the same poltergeist, his hands bursting with ki power to consume most of the essence of the creature, but it still persists.

The poltergeists focus their telekinetic attacks on Rūha...

Chaance clears the doorway to the great outdoors, briefly moaning her utter disappointment at leaving her gang behind to clear her head in the misty surrounds of the wreck. Her inner monologue teeter-totters from unintelligible self-condemnation to unconvincing positive self-talk.

She's too busy composing herself to notice anything unfortunate in her surrounds...

With Rhor's attack probably slaying the red poltergeist: Rūha endures the barrage and maintains her advice, then draws on her ki to send an almost point-blank laser beam at the green poltergeist. "I can hold these back here, if one of you can help Chaance before she meets those sabosans again!"

Zzvkgrogk hears Rūha, and her words register. He looks over his shoulder past the departing elf.

Hrm, what's it like to be able to cover so much ground at once?!

Daunted by the terrain between the elf and himself, Zzvkgrogk instead moves up with his dragon pistol, closes his eyes and shoots into the Poltergeist room hoping to expedite the demise of the source compelling everyone to runaway.

Rhoreen destroys the red poltergeist with the force bolts of her wand!

Yambul looks around for the will-o'-wisp, but if it is there, there is no apparent trace of it.

Chaance, away of the poltergeists, recomposes herself. She will be no frightened next round.

Rūha focuses her ki once more, and this time a ray of fire strikes the other visible creature. The ki seems akin to magic, for it consumes part of the incorporeal essence!

Without looking much to the target, Zzvkgrogk takes a crazy shot into the room. The poltergeist avoids the special cartridge, but it breaks into the wall, splashing the room with holy water!

The poltergeists retaliate, the rubble around swirling around Rūha.

So with Rhor's magic missiles, I think that takes out the only remaining visible poltergeist in the room.

Rūha tries to gauge from the directions the junk is flying and the temperature of the room where the remaining poltergeists might be.

She looks down the hallway, grateful that each ally is still standing.

The new barrage of force missiles from Rhoreen, obliterates and destroys the poltergeist that was still affected by the glitterdust.

She looks around, knowledgeable that a wisp once was seen in the wreck, but completely unable, utterly unable, to sense it for its soundless and sightless nature.

It’s lucky for us they didn’t throw those at us – we should definitely relocate them,” he adds, greedily.

"That grenade launcher is worth much." It's ... it's almost as big as me... the recoil would probably knock me on my tail. "And big. Yambul, snag it on the way out. Unless Rūha or Rhoreen or Chaance wants to take a crack at it."

As things stop flying around Rüha, Yambul figures, This is it!

But still no wisp. Part of him listens to Zzvkgrogk, but mostly he’s focused on trying to find the wisp.

Eventually, he gives up and helps to load up the various bits of loot. He’ll keep one of the concussion grenades (if no one minds) as he’s not otherwise terribly good at range.

When everyone is ready, he’ll head into the eastern chamber and stand guard while more observant folks look around.

Rhoreen holds her wand at the ready and keeps an eye out for trouble as others go through the loot.

"Well, let's get it all. And there might be more in this complex. We should take a look so we don't have to come back," Rhoreen suggests and as answer to Zzvkgrogk.

Wow, lots of goodies! I think we're lucky you had you splash attacks Z. It would have been slow and grueling to try to finish the last two off otherwise.

Rūha keeps her guard up for a while longer, not sure if the poltergeists have been extinguished, or if they're just biding their time. When nothing else starts flying through the air, she cedes the floor to Zzvkgrogk and heads to the south to watch the party's flank. "Still no wisp? Maybe it fled? Or maybe not. Let's keep our eyes open for it." She peeks into the southern room and keeps a lookout for the wisp.

Iron Gods: Iron maps;

Zzvkgrogk determines the launcher needs to expend a charge and have a granade inside to work, but it will help launch granades farther away and explode them more reliably. This one is worn down by time, humidity and lack of care, and thus will not endure a long usage.

Yambul steps into the eastern room where you spot the lights Chaance identified as the will-o'-wisp.

P3. Engine Room
The eastern half of this room is a tangle of gray metal, strange engine parts, and rubble, all of which was subjected to great heat long ago, judging by the metal’s melted and scorched surfaces. Here and there, softly glowing residues are caked onto bits and pieces of the metal.

It seems this was once the ship’s engine room, but everything that remains is damaged and ruined.

K. engineering DC 15:

The ruins of the machinery are the remains of its destroyed fusion reactor.

You think the explosion resulting from the vehicle’s crash obliterated most of the back half of the ship.

Three patches of glowing chemical residue cake the ruined reactor.

Craft (alchemy) or Heal* DC 20:

Consuming these liquids would have similar effects to the Numerian Fluids Rhoreen knows so well.

While Yambul and Zzvkgrogk searches the eastern room for the 'wisp, Rūha takes a peek into the southern one.

P4. Stasis Pods
The air in this compartment is choking and stale. The dust here is inches thick—nothing has disturbed this area in years. To the west, the wall is partially crushed and melted, leaving a five-foot-wide, two-foot-tall gap that opens into another chamber beyond. Four large coffin-shaped objects made of glass and metal sit against the walls—one to the north and three to the south.
The northern pod and the central southern pod are partially broken. Each contains a skeleton clad in fragments of strange, bulky armor. The other two southern pods appear to be only slightly damaged. The air is thick with a rancid scent, like old meat gone bad.

K. engineering DC 20*:

The pods in this chamber were used by crew members of the scouting ship for stasis sleep on long journeys.

You deduce there was some emergency and in the attempt to survive, at least part of the crew donned space suits and entered these pods for safety, but that protection was not apparently enough to survive the impact, for no one moves in here.

The pod in the north wall is broken open, and the remains within are now only crumbling bones, but in the other three pods, the bodies of the crew remain in perfect stasis in their pristine space suits.

One is male, the other two female—both appear to be human, yet of an unknown ethnicity with dusky skin, reddish hair, and delicate features. The pods they rest in seem to be intact.

K. engineering DC 15*:

A quick check is enough to notice the stasis pods are not powered up. It is impossible to determine for how long have they been inactive.

The good news is these ones can be forced open with just some effort in this state.

With a pained look on his face, he scrambles and hops over the terrain and heads over to join the others.

Rūha looks over the pods, then takes a step back as she spots the intact bodies inside. "Considering that the stasis pods have been unpowered for what must be years, centuries, millennia? Considering that, there's next to no chance that these people can be woken up." She looks through the clear shell of the pod "Unless... these people are from Golarion and got trapped here."

"No, without power, how would they have gotten trapped, or be still trapped? I think we'd be better served leaving them alone."

Yambul follows Zzvkgrogk into the next room. The bodies freak him out a little considering how well preserved they are.

"Well, they're alive, or they're dead. If they're alive, we should break them free, and if they're dead we should bury 'em."

He looks at Rüha, and trusts her instinct. "Let's at least leave it to the end. They're not going anywhere, so let's search this place and deal with them last."

With his falchion still out, and shield still running, he moves to the rubble and looks to see what can be seen.

Following Rūha's advice, the group avoids to touch the pods, including the bulky armor, and slowly proceeds through the western whole. Yambul's flying stone's light is reflected by another wall of glaucite. There is another door there.

Differently to the other doors in the wreck, this one is closed. It also means it needs to be forced to open.

There are many sparks but the door slides to the side, letting a blast of stale, foul-smelling air hiss out of the chamber.

P5. Bridge
A massive black window, spiderwebbed with hundreds of cracks, graces the western wall of this chamber, half-buried under rubble and twisted metal. Curved consoles of strange controls line the walls, with three chairs made of an unidentifiable off-white material facing them. A figure dressed in red fabric of an unusually fine weave sits slumped over the console in the westernmost chair.

Rhoreen moves up to keep an eye on things, her wand ready should the wisp return.

She looks onto the bridge and wonders what it might have been used for.

Iron Gods: Iron maps;

As you close by, you notice the pilot's back part of the skull is open and the interior is completely empty, devoid of any remains of a brain.

As the air of the exterior starts to enter the bridge, the mummified body crumbles to dust! A haunting force triggers when this happens, you start to hear big explosions and a vision overlaps with the bridge itself. You see a large ship crossing the blackness of the space surrounded by stars. Large black creatures with tentacles are invading the ship and there are explosions everywhere as human-like creatures try to fight them back! You see the pilot in the red suit running through a metal corridor and stumbling with a four-armed figure very much like Rūha.

"Isuma!" shouts the pilot "We need to evacuate, everything is lost!"

The Kasatha runs towards the explosions instead "No Yurian! Someone needs to make sure Divinity crashes! I will not let The Dominion of the Black return to my planet!"

"It is a doomed mission!" the man negates and sees the Kasatha disappear then keeps running and enters what seems a escape module. You soon recognize the ship you are in at this very moment.

The red pilot runs past pods where other men are entering, he accesses the bridge and initiates a flight sequence. The man touches the device in his throat and starts to talk, but you cannot hear with the other noises of the haunted vision.

The ship lurches downward, away from the metal structure above.

Then the structure drops and slams into the ship. A voice calls out, "Captain, what...?"

The pilot replied, "The Chrysalis rammed us. Unity won't let us escape easily." His fingers raced and the view outside spins. The ship shuddered from strain as it dipped away from the metal structure. Another flick of a switch and the view screen image splits, one reveals the metal structure above them as another spaceship the size of a mountain, and the other focuses on the approaching ground, now close beneath but slowing down.

"Chrysalis, you maneuver like garbage skow," the pilot shouts as he dodges out from under the other spaceship's next attempt to smash them.

Then the Chrysalis hits the ground and exploses into a cloud of debris miles wide. "Sh-t!" the pilot shouts. His ship spins as it intercepts the debris. As this takes place, you feel sudden vertigo, and the conviction that gravity has gone mad.
Everyone, Will save DC 14 or fall prone and be staggered for 1 round

Everything goes phantom dark and full of dust but the movement completely ceases. For a second you feel you have been eaten by the darkness, but then a light in the pilots suit turns on and he starts to stand up, only for in the flash of the light a crab-like creature with a lamprey mouth, twitching eyes on its legs, and several blisters along its back that hold what seems brains lurches over and cuts the pilot's head in half putting the brain on the last empty blister.

The vision disappears, but over the dust of the body remains, there is this very same crab creature with many eyes looking at your tasty heads!

The creature moves forward over you and Rūha feels a force trying to take her over.

These are just another of the aberrations of the outer space Chaance talk you about. During your forays below Torch, you found an entry about this one in particular, a Neh-Thalggu.

This one in particular seems a younger, smaller specimen, and it looks particularly weakened by the long time here closed.

Ruha weathers the strange phenomena from the vision without issue, and also easily resists the crab creature's mental attack. Unfortunately, the monstrosity is as alien to her as it is to the others. "Not a clue. But it appears to have a penchant for collecting brains."

With Yambul distracting the monster from one side, Ruha takes a swift step southward and delivers a precise jab. (Stunning fist. On hit, DC19 Fort or stunned 1 rd)
