Graz looked down at the little halfling before him. Quinn was a small thing, but had proved his value dispensing that healing magyk in the past. When you were a big bruiser, a pocket cleric came in quite handy. And this "Dezna" he spoke of turns out to be quite a nice goddess to have on your side - sometimes things just naturally go your way when she's involved.
Graz smiled, revealing his rather large and pointy incisors, and patted the halfling priest on the head. Quinn, friend" he said simply as if that settled things.

Alright sounds like we have a plan then
Fes showed up in Restov with a letter from Cadell's mother instructing him to take her along and that she will keep him out of trouble. It doesn't say anything about her being a slave. He thinks she is a hired sword. This works fine for me.

Moira knows Cadell from childhood, who has become quite the scoundrel lately (not to mention all the gossip that he leaves in his wake!) and knows Chimon from his travels, who she shares many of the same ideals with.

See, and I thought me getting a bad case of a headcold and being laid up yesterday would be a bad thing. As it turns out, you've all managed to pound out the starting-floor information that we needed to get this thing in gear. Making a couple of last-minute tweaks to the starter post, so let's get ready to rip. Should have something for y'all to chew on in short order.

Do we know IC about other groups signing the charter? How?
The player's guide implies that our characters know roughly who the other parties are and where they went, although our knowledge is largely based on rumours. See the box text on page 4.
Is there an actual text for the charter that we can get our hands on? Did I miss it somewhere? Or are we going to go with the following:
These initial charters are simple enough: re-open the old trade routes along the rivers and scatter or defeat the bandits who have made them too dangerous to use.

I hadn't originally thought this when creating him, but 19 Wisdom and 7 Charisma. Insightful, yet with no natural ability to communicate his insights, no ability to advocate for himself and his ideas, prone to withdrawing completely, seeming oblivious, but noticing everything, and talking through his thought processes out loud. 7 Charisma, but still plenty of excuse to have him speak and do things besides being invisible. The party will soon realize that he has ideas to contribute, but that they'll need to accommodate his quirks and take the initiative to listen to him. Slightly Asperger-sy. Thoughts?

I think the gate opens inward. I think most gates like that open inward. It is easier to push a door shut against resistance than pull it shut. exterior doors on houses also usually open inward.

Hey everyone, so sorry that I seemed to disappear on you all. To give you a little insight into my situation, the place where I live was severely damaged by mudslides, and I ended up losing my normal computer as well as a number of other personal possessions. The fortunate thing is that I have somewhere to stay, my pets are alright, and I now have access to a computer again (I have one at my job, but since we handle sensitive information, we don't have an external connection so I can post). I'm still getting things sorted out personally, but the game will go on, so expect a post tonight. Again, sorry for just vanishing, I really didn't want you to think I flaked.

Ah man that sucks. Sorry to hear it. Glad you are Okay. I have no problem hanging about until you get things settled again. Life happens. Thank you for letting us know what was up.

While this game started to look fun, I have found myself over-extended and since this is still early perhaps you can find a replacement easily for me.
Thanks for inviting me in, but I must withdraw for personal reasons. Hope you get the thread going again!
