I should also clarify; I'm not upset about it, I figured it was an "introduction" and not "this is how my character is going to be forever". So I apologize for the terse nature of my earlier post.

I've just seen (and been in) far too many PbP games that had issues due to the limitations of communicating exact emotion and innuendo through posts. I am perhaps overly sensitive to it, and my intent was not to restrict role-playing.

Hope that makes sense to everyone.

HP: 11/11 AC: 12 Init: 2 Per: +3 Spells: L1 4/4

Understood.

@Arumil - Even Gimli and Legolas didn't get on at the start :)
This could actually work well with my characterisation. Varnius prefers do'ers to talkers, and I guess waving a knife in somebodys face is an elegant way to transfer from one to the other.

That one show of force probably made him feel infinitely more respectful of you as a potential colleague than his previous opionion of you as a sheltered scholar.

Male Elf Air Elementalist Spellbinder 3 (HP 14/ AC 13, T 12, FF 11/ F +1, R +3, W +3/ Init +2/ Perc +2)

@Varnius
Ah well Arumil just picked the most sensible choice (in his mind) concerning things. Truth be told the thought of casting a sleep spell on you did cross my mind, but then I thought it was a waste of magic and at this stage it's in short supply. Would have loved to wave my hand and knocked you out. Would have been so funny. xP

Anyways developing relationships is what a party is about. I never did like it when people who never met started out chummy, found that odd personally.

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

It's probably going to be one of the most memorable character introductions I've seen, so not bad at all!

I have posted a link to the shared folder on the Campaign Info tab.

I created a small file containing some basic details about the bandit prisoners. Would everyone please take a moment and see if you can access the folder and see the file. I will be posting more information there as the campaign progresses so I want to make sure everyone can see it.

Male Elf Air Elementalist Spellbinder 3 (HP 14/ AC 13, T 12, FF 11/ F +1, R +3, W +3/ Init +2/ Perc +2)

It says I need promission to access. So thats a no it does not work for me. >.<

Thanks for letting me know so quickly. Perhaps I should actually share it instead of just posting a link. :)

Done. You should be able to view it now.

Male Elf Air Elementalist Spellbinder 3 (HP 14/ AC 13, T 12, FF 11/ F +1, R +3, W +3/ Init +2/ Perc +2)

Ok well I have access now. Only the bandit info is showing up, so if thats all that is up then your good. If their is more stuff then I am not seeing it. Glad to be of help.

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

Works for me, too.

Male Human Cleric 4 (HP 27;AC16,T11,FF15; F+6,R+3,W+9; Init +1; Perc +3){Effects:none}

Ok, got it, and thank you. My memory isn't the best and it's nice to have notes to refer to easily.

That's pretty neat. :)

Can you note the two that have the debt to the wolves?

Nice touch.

I have updated the bandit prisoner file to add a "Notes" column for keeping track of details like who owes a debt to the worgs.

And yes, the only item in the folder is the bandit spreadsheet. I plan to add a number of additional files in the next few days and weeks.

Male Elf Air Elementalist Spellbinder 3 (HP 14/ AC 13, T 12, FF 11/ F +1, R +3, W +3/ Init +2/ Perc +2)

Before I post, Temerith would your hood be any good against low light vision?

I am not sure what the light level is as things stand. Personally I would think anything other then total darkness would let Arumil see but thats just me.

It's morning on a cloudy day, so from a rules standpoint, everyone is enjoying a fine day of "full/normal/bright" light outside.

(Flavor/story question about the hood so Teremith can decide.)

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

It's just normal shadow, you should be able to see his face. The horns should be blocked from your view by the actual hood, though.

His face is pretty unremarkable, save for the horns and red eyes.

GM:
Surprised you did not include rumours of two amazons (Bridgette and Gunda) or of the "Forest Angel" and the "Forest Demon" for the new group.

Bridgette:
Heh, we're thinking alike. I was actually planning to drop some hints on them about the current group at their next stop. :)

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

I just started playing with some nice 3D modeling software,
and the best part is the program and some basic content is free
and it's easy to make a character.

Daz 3D

Though if you buy any content, pay attention to any content requirements and it'sCompatible 3D Figures list.
you'll be looking for Genesis in the Compatible 3D Figures list

I'm thinking on making quick 3D visual of my PC and maybe the others PCs.

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

Nifty. Sure beats trying to get /tg/ to draw character portraits for me!

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

This is a rough idea of Bridgette's martial arts teacher, Alkaid.

Edit:

Male Elf Air Elementalist Spellbinder 3 (HP 14/ AC 13, T 12, FF 11/ F +1, R +3, W +3/ Init +2/ Perc +2)

I think the non full humans will be a problem. Unless that software has something for them too.

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

It can do any humanoid.

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

Well, Temerith is mostly human-looking, just with horns and a tail... and I guess scaley arms/feet, but he'd usually be wearing boots/gloves over them.

Bridgette Etna Asta Valerius wrote:

Well, that's nifty. Also, I believe that male dwarf is the happiest dwarf I've ever seen.

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

This one has some horns, and covers elven bodies.

The catch though is that you'll need to buy it to use it.

this pack can do a lot of character tweaking, and helped in making that Raxus character image Buff, and has various Elf ears

Male Human Cleric 4 (HP 27;AC16,T11,FF15; F+6,R+3,W+9; Init +1; Perc +3){Effects:none}

Hmm, we may be planting the seeds for a healthy variety of spiritual options in this area.

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

Variety is the spice of life, they say.

Spoiler:
Unless the various fans of each spice try to start murdering each other. Then no one eats dinner that night.

Neat stuff.

Did I get you just about right in that rough draft, Raxus?

Heck the GM could use it to make NPC portraits.
Like Svetlana

Half-ogre Barbarian 4 HP 49/49, DR 2, AC 14, FF 14, Touch 10, CMD 16, Fort +6, Ref +1, Will +0, Rage rounds 12/12

Well, Raxus is bald. He actually doesn't grow any hair anywhere (some sort of faint bloodline oddity)

He also has long canines on the top and bottom rows of teeth.

Other than that, it looks great.

I may play around with it after I get my maps figured out.

Wow, that's pretty cool. Can you darken his skin (like oiled leather), and make his mouth/jaw broader, and redden the eyes?

That's about all I can think to change. Looks great.

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

I can darken the skin,
though making it look like oiled leather is another.

I can do some facial alterations,
but no red eyes, It'll require a few things (resource wise) before I can attempt it.

edit:

Funny thing is Raxus is the cheapest one to re-make

The only part you have to pay for is this one.

The rest were free with the Daz software, or from the Free downloads page.

Note: The Daz page has two video tutorials.

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

Don't spend any money on my account. I wouldn't feel right about you burning cash on something just to stick horns on my character.

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

I don't plan on spending any more cash for assets for a good while.
Got most of my assets on sale, and used discount coupons, so I saved a lot.

I have enough assets for characters, though I might need to get creative or repetitive for certain parts, as I don't have many hair or clothing options in my asset list.

Creative wise I did change some armour parts into cloth parts, and tinting clothes and hair if It did not have the colours I wanted.

Male (Oni-Spawn) Tiefling Inquisitor 3 [ HP: 24/24 | AC: 18 T: 13 FF: 17 | F: +6 R: +3 W: +6 | Init: +4 Perc: +9 | 1st: 2/3 | Judgment: 1/1 Dest. Smite: 6/6 | Effects: Shield of Faith (30/30) ]

There's a picture of roughly what Temerith looks like under the Appearance tab in his profile, if you need a reference.

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

Most of it is doable,
but I would need to remove Horns, tail, and red eyes.

And I would use the same clothes as Raxus_2, but tint it the shirt red,
and tweak the colour of the pants and boots.

Half-ogre Barbarian 4 HP 49/49, DR 2, AC 14, FF 14, Touch 10, CMD 16, Fort +6, Ref +1, Will +0, Rage rounds 12/12

Have you seen This?

I bought a disk of the original Hero Machine program in 2007 or so. It was pretty amazing for it's time. Lots and lots of options.

HM3a looks really impressive.

Half-ogre Barbarian 4 HP 49/49, DR 2, AC 14, FF 14, Touch 10, CMD 16, Fort +6, Ref +1, Will +0, Rage rounds 12/12

I've always thought a character designer like City of Heroes had would be a really good stand alone product. Something intuitive with lots and lots of options.

Looks like what you're using is close to that.

HP: 40/40 AC: 17:13:14 Saves:6:5:5 Init: 2, Dip+11 Per: +11 SenMot +9

I've played with a few character creation systems, some were simple others were advanced.

The Phantasy Star Online 2 character creation system is well done and the most advanced one I've seen so far.

PSO2 Character Creator install

English Patch

Heh, I played around with PSO2's character creator for a little bit. It's nifty, but way too high-tech fantasy for any of the games I play.

Morphs for mouth and jaw are limited, so this is the best I could do given what I have.

I'll post their arrival tonight.
