I should also clarify; I'm not upset about it, I figured it was an "introduction" and not "this is how my character is going to be forever". So I apologize for the terse nature of my earlier post.

I've just seen (and been in) far too many PbP games that had issues due to the limitations of communicating exact emotion and innuendo through posts. I am perhaps overly sensitive to it, and my intent was not to restrict role-playing.

This could actually work well with my characterisation. Varnius prefers do'ers to talkers, and I guess waving a knife in somebodys face is an elegant way to transfer from one to the other.

That one show of force probably made him feel infinitely more respectful of you as a potential colleague than his previous opionion of you as a sheltered scholar.

Ah well Arumil just picked the most sensible choice (in his mind) concerning things. Truth be told the thought of casting a sleep spell on you did cross my mind, but then I thought it was a waste of magic and at this stage it's in short supply. Would have loved to wave my hand and knocked you out. Would have been so funny. xP

Anyways developing relationships is what a party is about. I never did like it when people who never met started out chummy, found that odd personally.

It's probably going to be one of the most memorable character introductions I've seen, so not bad at all!

I created a small file containing some basic details about the bandit prisoners. Would everyone please take a moment and see if you can access the folder and see the file. I will be posting more information there as the campaign progresses so I want to make sure everyone can see it.

I have updated the bandit prisoner file to add a "Notes" column for keeping track of details like who owes a debt to the worgs.

And yes, the only item in the folder is the bandit spreadsheet. I plan to add a number of additional files in the next few days and weeks.

Before I post, Temerith would your hood be any good against low light vision?

I am not sure what the light level is as things stand. Personally I would think anything other then total darkness would let Arumil see but thats just me.

It's morning on a cloudy day, so from a rules standpoint, everyone is enjoying a fine day of "full/normal/bright" light outside.

(Flavor/story question about the hood so Teremith can decide.)

It's just normal shadow, you should be able to see his face. The horns should be blocked from your view by the actual hood, though.

His face is pretty unremarkable, save for the horns and red eyes.

I just started playing with some nice 3D modeling software,
and the best part is the program and some basic content is free
and it's easy to make a character.

Well, Temerith is mostly human-looking, just with horns and a tail... and I guess scaley arms/feet, but he'd usually be wearing boots/gloves over them.

Well, that's nifty. Also, I believe that male dwarf is the happiest dwarf I've ever seen.

This one has some horns, and covers elven bodies.

The catch though is that you'll need to buy it to use it.

Well, Raxus is bald. He actually doesn't grow any hair anywhere (some sort of faint bloodline oddity)

He also has long canines on the top and bottom rows of teeth.

Other than that, it looks great.

I may play around with it after I get my maps figured out.

Wow, that's pretty cool. Can you darken his skin (like oiled leather), and make his mouth/jaw broader, and redden the eyes?

That's about all I can think to change. Looks great.

I can do some facial alterations,
but no red eyes, It'll require a few things (resource wise) before I can attempt it.

The rest were free with the Daz software, or from the Free downloads page.

Don't spend any money on my account. I wouldn't feel right about you burning cash on something just to stick horns on my character.

I don't plan on spending any more cash for assets for a good while.
Got most of my assets on sale, and used discount coupons, so I saved a lot.

I have enough assets for characters, though I might need to get creative or repetitive for certain parts, as I don't have many hair or clothing options in my asset list.

Creative wise I did change some armour parts into cloth parts, and tinting clothes and hair if It did not have the colours I wanted.

There's a picture of roughly what Temerith looks like under the Appearance tab in his profile, if you need a reference.

Most of it is doable,
but I would need to remove Horns, tail, and red eyes.

And I would use the same clothes as Raxus_2, but tint it the shirt red,
and tweak the colour of the pants and boots.

I bought a disk of the original Hero Machine program in 2007 or so. It was pretty amazing for it's time. Lots and lots of options.

HM3a looks really impressive.

I toyed with hero machine before, it's good, but not great.

I've always thought a character designer like City of Heroes had would be a really good stand alone product. Something intuitive with lots and lots of options.

Looks like what you're using is close to that.

I've played with a few character creation systems, some were simple others were advanced.

The Phantasy Star Online 2 character creation system is well done and the most advanced one I've seen so far.
