Hey, warning everyone: I'm about to go to a summer camp for a few days and won't be able to get on during that time. I'll be back by Saturday (hopefully Friday night I can post), but won't be on these few days... in retrospect, I really should've waited to join up in groups 'til after this. If you need to drop me, I understand.
I leave tomorrow afternoon, about this time actually, I think. I hopefully can get on tomorrow at some point in the morning or early afternoon... And I'll almost definitely be on again later tonight. If you guys want to get started without me, someone else can run Avizzi to the best of their ability in combat, and just sideline him during RPing for now.

Sounds good I am just getting the first post sorted now so you guys can get to know each other a little :) I don't know how fast this will run but I will try to make sure nothing major happens while you are away :P
Thanks. In any case, I'm about to update the profile with some basic combat info for how Avizzi fights, so that if combat breaks out, he can be used.
Where/when do we want to start PC interaction? On this thread, right now?
Edit: Tactics are up in their own spoiler on his profile. If you don't enter combat, please don't read this! I'd like it to be a surprise if possible. If you enter combat, then whoever's running him can use it. This way, when I get back and run him, it won't be like "Whoa, the bird is fighting totally different now..."
Arial's profile now has his crunch in it, and I'm skimming the player's guide to figure out his fluff a bit better. I like the idea of the oblivious scholar wandering about having adventures, but I'm not quite sure how that fits in this AP. As a Rostlander, I'm relatively hearty, which makes sense with my hobby of archery (there is an outside chance I'll pop a few levels of fighter and take the arcane archer PrC rather than the Loremaster, but that'll be later, as I get the full feel of the character and the needs of the group reveal themselves, if ever) and the knowledge: nature skill. Perhaps he sees this as an opportunity to investigate the unusual fey species rumored to inhabit the Greenbelt.
I am curious what your take on Item Creation is, Hairy. I can see my guy spending a lot of time writing up scrolls and making wands or wondrous items, if you're good with that, but I won't waste the feats if you're the sort of GM who thinks player made magic items is a nuisance.
I'm sure there is more that I'm going to want to ask, but at the moment, I'm coming up empty.
I am cool with item creation I believe that this will be a good AP for item creation aswell due to the long lengths of time that can pass quickly :)
Also I think the wandering scholar is perfect especially with the Knowledge nature, there is a lot of exploring in this module so obviously this would fit in perfectly with your character.

Avizzi: I can just NPC your character if he is ever needed, however I hope that we aren't in combat by that point so you can spring your own surprise :D
So about three years ago, I went to a local gaming store with my wife and we were both interested in getting back into roleplaying. We took a look at both 4ed and Pathfinder and the clerk mentioned they do PFS on wednesday nights.
So the wife and I played for about a year when the gaming store was starting to get way too many players and not enough GM's. So I asked the store if they minded if I helped out, so then I took over a table.
Eventually I stopped going as the wife and I were starting a family, but about two months ago I decided I wanted to go back, but the gaming store had stopped all PFS as they had no GM's to run it. So I took it upon myself to restart the PFS and now I have a full table and find myself needing another GM, lol

Just want to make sure everyone knows that Avizzi's being a bit of a jerk to the bandits A) due to his low Charisma score, and B) he doesn't like people capturing him, tying him up, and then trying to kill him. Just making sure everyone's not thinking Geez, what an annoying character...
But it works for the Scooby Gang. What could possibly go wrong? ;)

on map making I will say that everything mentioned would be able to actually make a detailed map. I look into this a bit more and come back with a definitive answer :)
