Davor:
Ok, bear with me: how do you get BAB +4?. Also, if you add your damage: 6+1+1+3, don't you get to +11?

DM:

my mistake, Weapon of Awe is a sacred bonus to it is a +2 boost, not a +1. I thought it was enhancement, but it isn't so it stacks.

AC 24 (25) HP 30/30 AP 8/8

Too many things standing around, or laying around to know what is what. Janku focuses his Spiritual Hammer (Round 3)on the original troll that is still standing...Then channels leaving out the injured trolls with selective channeling since he's almost dead after rolling two ones and a two,

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Reflex Save

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 SW attack
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 SW Damage

2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8 CPE

Janku, there are four trolls in your area of effect (troll H is too far high) and you can exclude three. Also, changing the target of your Spiritual Hammer is a move action.

+1 Greataxe w/PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

1 Action point for Flurry of attacks. Move to D.5 6; If possible, would like to use Ranger focus on the two headed one. It's a swift action. Not sure if I can do that at this point or not.

"HA! HA! One good turn, beast!" He taunts as he's takes a step toward the big one, "Now for you!" and swings at it.

If I can't use focus, then just take off the +2 to each.

It's obviously MOOT at this freaking point! Crap.

As Kriger misses horribly, "AHHHH CRAP!"

But aren't two of them dead? Move action to refocus the hammer, and channel energy as a standard action...Is that not right?

The two you killed I removed to avoid making the map even more complex. Those on the map are all still alive. Troll 4 is down, but regenerating.

As the troll tries to stand up, it is cut down by Davor. (Troll 5 is down)

Round 5 - Janku and Kalsgrim
Seeing the new menaces emerge, Kal can no longer stand back and fight in Old Deadeye's tradition. Kalsgrim will double move toward the fighting. I'm not sure if going off the path is considered difficult terrain; if it is he'll stay on it. As he goes, he'll ready his longsword, shifting his longbow to his off hand.

Round 6 - Servayn, Davor and Kriger
Though Davor is bloodied and burnt, he continues to fight, attacking relentlessly at the nearest standing troll. Davor doesn't understand the troll, but instead speaks his own gutteral and primitive language. He swings his greatblade at the two-headed troll and draws a lot of blood.

The area lit by glittering motes of conjured embers fades as they drift to the ground and wink out. Servayn steps a pace to the south and places another grease spell beneath the troll currently standing on his dead companion.

Secret Rolls:

N: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

The troll slips and crashes to the floor!

Janku takes a few steps back to get at least one troll out of his channel radius. He then calls upon Milani to bring healing to his allies. (Kriger, Davor and Janku heal 8 hp.)

The eagle attempts another flurry of attacks on the troll. It fails to remain hovering and settles to the ground, getting only a single attack. It lands true though and bites deep.

"AHHHHH CRAP!" Frustrated that he just got rended by the beast, he swings with an almighty fury. Hi axe finds its mark and draws dark blood, bringing down the troll.
He then quickly sidesteps and conjures his energy into landing another blow.
"HA! HA! One good turn, beast!" He taunts as he's takes a step toward the big one, "Now for you!" and swings at it. As Kriger misses horribly, "AHHHH CRAP!"

Round 6 - The Trolls
The double-headed troll tries to get up, leaving an opening for Kriger and Davor before it starts slashing and biting, bringing death all around.

Round 6 - Janku and Kalsgrim
Kalsgrim will double move, fighting to get alongside of Kriger to take part in the melee since his archery was so ineffective. As he moves in though, the troll takes a bite at him.

Secret Rolls:

N vs D: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 191d8 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Its teeth sink in deeply in the paladin’s hip, crunching armour and flesh. (-16 hp to Kalsgrim)

Janku then moves in, but the troll can’t block him, and sends a first one to troll heaven. Then, using his last resources, he manages to land another blow to the other downed troll, sending it packing too. (Trolls 4 and 5 are not coming back! I’ve removed them from the map. One less AP for Janku.) The spiritual weapon disappears in a flash of petals.

Round 7 - Servayn, Davor and Kriger
Kriger, ticked off because he can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn if he was standing next to it, talks to himself. "Okay, Kriger. The sharp part of the blade goes across the beast's neck, hopefully severing it from it's body," he says as he swings again at the ugly beast. His attack bounces off the troll’s hide.

Anger rising as the memories of the Stag Lord battle resurface; reminding him of how he couldn't hit nothing then either. He uses that rising fury to swing again. But the attack bounces again without cutting!

Davor will road with rage and swing his blade at the nearest troll. The blade bites deep under the arm, drawing flowing blood.

The eagle flies to attack the troll closest to it and takes a single bite attack. The beak gets in the trolls hear, making it yell in pain, then disappears in a flash, replaced by three more as Servayn steps three paces to the south and one to the east and waits until the celestial eagle is either struck down or strikes true, before attempting to conjure a *real* flight of eagles, directing them towards the troll on the bluff overlooking them. The single eagle from before vanishes into sparkling dust as he releases it to conjure the new recruits.

One of the eagles bites deep in the trolls ankle, finding flesh and blood.

Round 7 - The Trolls
This time, the two-headed troll doesn’t try to get out, as it is clearly surrounded, and instead lashes left and right at all present.

Secret Rolls:

A claw passes just above Davor’s head and Kalsgrim also manages to avoid the bite from its left head.

Unfortunately, Janku gets a deep bite on its arm, almost turning into pulp (-14 hp to Janku), and Kriger gets slashed across its belly (-13 hp to Kriger).

The troll at the top of the cliff laughs some more and throws another fireball at Servayn.

Dang. I was hoping. Welp, here goes nothing.

Kriger, the beating of his own heart seeming to drown out everything else, looks around at the others knowing they can't take too much more of this. And also realizing if he isn't able to land a solid hit on the beast, this could be the beginning of the end of them all. If it isn't already. Round 7 - Janku and Kalsgrim
Janku takes a step back and channels again. (+6 hp to all)

Looking up at the troll before him, Kalsgrim drops his bow and takes up his sword in both hands. With a silent payer to Erastil, he strikes. His blade falls short of the mark though. (Kalsgrim, please check your bonuses for PA with your longsword (BAB +4). You also forgot the Bless.)

Round 8 - Servayn, Davor and Kriger
Kriger, the beating of his own heart seeming to drown out everything else, looks around at the others knowing they can't take too much more of this. And also realizing if he isn't able to land a solid hit on the beast, this could be the beginning of the end of them all. If it isn't already. Never one to fear death as he's covered in mostly his own blood, Kriger smiles and brings his axe up high, "FOR FRIELAND!!!" and swings with all he's got left.

His axe blade finds its mark, and he lands a vicious blow to beast’s left head!

With a surge of hope from finally connecting on the beast, he uses what little he has left and swings once again. This time, the troll steps back and avoids the blow.

As his momentum nearly turns him around from missing, Kriger turns his head back toward the troll, a smile still on his face. " HA! HA! I GOT YOU ONCE, BEAST! BRING IT ON!!!" He taunts through a bloody mouth.

Servayn, it’s a wondrous item, so no AoO from the eagles.

Servayn steps a single pace to the west and attempts to bring another troll low, calling forth more burbling ectoplasmic slime from some unearthly realm.

All three celestial eagles attempt a full attack on the fireball throwing troll atop the bluff. The first eagle fails to remain aloft, and only gets a single haphazard bite attack as it flutters to the ground. The second eagle and third eagle are more graceful in the air, and attack in a feathered flurry of beaks and talons. They are quite annoying, but altogether fail to land a telling blow.

Davor continues the attack, not wanting to fall down just yet. The blade cuts across the beast’s shoulder. It’s obviously faltering from the blows now.

Round 8 - The Trolls
This time, the two-headed troll is quite happy to plit the pain this way, its two heads seeming to argue with one another as to the target.

Secret Rolls:

The beast unleashes at Davor (-9 hp to Davor), Janku (-10 hp to Janku) and Kalsgrim (-11 hp to Kalsgrim). Kriger, usually the easy target, sidesteps a clumsy slashing.

The troll dying in the grease wakes up and tries to crawl away. (AoO from Kriger I’ll resolve the attack if it makes it.)

The troll at the top of the cliff, now annoyed, attacks the birds.

Secret Rolls:

Moment's later, Janku's healing takes the edge off of the terrible burns Servayn has suffered, but any rush of satisfaction is dashed by the sight of the cleric falling to the ground, blood pulsing sluggishly from his body.

Damage w/PA: 1d12 + 13

Troll 3 will stay down a while!

Will go ahead and post, seeing how Kalsgrim's action shouldn't affect mine in any way. Unless he happens to kill the thing outright.

Seeing Janku fall, Kriger scowls at the two-headed beast and hopes to at least make it pay for that.

+1 Greataxe, w/PA vs. focus 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Damage w/PA: vs. focus 1d12 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27

Where was all this 4 rounds ago? :P

As he buries his axe deep in the ugly beast's chest, "HA! HA! You may kill me, but you'll never forget me, beast!"

Troll N is down. I repeat: Troll N just hit the floor.

Kriger, cover me! Kalsgrim turns away from the troll, lumbering to the side of his fallen friend (D7.5). While on route, he touches his wound and unleashes Erastil's healing power into it. Lay on hands, 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7.

When he reaches Jankus's side, he again calls on Esatil to heal his friend, crouching down and touching his grevious wounds. 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6

So, move action to move, swift to LOH on himself, standard to LOH for Janku. Depending on sequencing, he may take an AoO, and I'm okay with that.

Yesssss!!! Freaking yes!!! :)

As Kriger prepares for the troll to send him straight to Erastil, he notices the creature just staring at him, and then toppling over. "HA! HA!" He raises a fist in the air.

Seeing the other troll that had fallen just moments ago, Kriger quickly takes a swing at it, in hopes to keep it down. The blade sinks in the fleeing troll, keeping it down and dying.

Round 8 - Janku and Kalsgrim
The stalwart holy man spirals to the ground in a spray of blood that seemingly morphs into rose petals, as his eyes begin to cloud over. Still it is a hero's death...dying so that those who come after him might live on.

Kalsgrim waits to move in and help the cleric.

Round 9 - Servayn, Davor and Kriger and Kalsgrim
Davor drops to the ground as he gets hit by a vicious claw.

The troll's assault causes the eagles to fly apart into feathers and gore, which transmutes as quickly into colored light that streams away.

Moment's later, Janku's healing takes the edge off of the terrible burns Servayn has suffered, but any rush of satisfaction is dashed by the sight of the cleric falling to the ground, blood pulsing sluggishly from his body.

Gritting his teeth, after dismissing other options, Servayn reaches again into the fabric of the celestial realms and calls forth another flight, praying to Calstria to aid their task of vengeance against these trolls.

The new trio of eagles have feathers that appear to be made of glistening black metal, with talons, beaks and eyes of blazing gold. They swoop to the attack with the screech of metal against metal, ending up in the same positions as their predeceased predecessors.

A single one manages to hit the chieftain, hitting its knee.

Seeing Janku fall, Kriger scowls at the two-headed beast and hopes to at least make it pay for that. As he buries his axe deep in the ugly beast's chest, "HA! HA! You may kill me, but you'll never forget me, beast!"

The troll becomes limp and vivid and drops to the ground.

”Kriger, cover me!” Kalsgrim turns away from the troll, lumbering to the side of his fallen friend. While on route, he touches his wound and unleashes Erastil's healing power into it. When he reaches Jankus's side, he again calls on Erastil to heal his friend, crouching down and touching his grevious wounds.

Janku’s eyes open as he lies on the ground, weapon nearby.

As Kriger prepares for the troll to send him straight to Erastil, he notices the creature just staring at him, and then toppling over. "HA! HA!" He raises a fist in the air.

Round 9 - The Trolls
The trolls on the ground are slowly healing in front of you, but they remain unconscious for now.

The troll from on high looks at you, the flesh on its knee knitting itself. His eyes filled with evil intent, he simply steps back and goes into the chamber. Full retreat.

All are up. If you’re not trying to pursue immediately, you can keep the troll down while Janku heals most of you.

No pursuing here. Not yet anyway.

As Kalsgrim heals Scranford, and Davor lies dying on the ground, Kriger turns to the two-headed beast, raises his axe high, and buries it right in the creatures skull, creating a nice flow of troll ichor.

Coup de Grace Damage: 3d12 + 21 ⇒ (4, 7, 2) + 21 = 34

After he does that, he immediately goes and checks on Davor to see if he still breathes. As he finds the half-orc still alive, he pulls out one of the healing potions out of his pack, and pours it down his throat. Potion of clw: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 "There you go, buddy. That ought to at least stop the bleeding."

It looks as if Davor didn't add the 6 that Janku channeled last time. Also, he has a Judgement that gives him fast healing 2. Was that active during the time he fell? If so, would that work on the round he fell, seeing how his Orc ferocity would have kept him up for one more round? I've no idea how judgements work, so I'm unclear on it all.

(AC 18, hp 15 of 77) Summoner 9

Seeing Kriger strike the two-headed troll to keep it from rising, Servayn walks over to the other troll and bashes it in the skull with a two-handed morningstar swing, to keep it low until it can be finished off with fire.

coup de grace damage 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10

The celestial eagles follow the retreating troll into the enclosed area, even more fearless than the earthly creatures they resemble.

no charge bonus, ACs back to 14, still 7 hp, still smiting evil for +1 damage

Celestial Eagle 1(augmented)
Bite attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Celestial Eagle 2 (augmented)
Bite attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Celestial Eagle 3, (augmented)
Bite attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Male Half-orc Inquisitor/6th, AC 21, 55/55 hp

finally got well enough to reply and no he didn't have it up because that meant he'd loose the +1 protection, which he hoped was helping him from his judgement and was more interested in dodging blows than attempting to heal up some.

AC 24 (25) HP 30/30 AP 8/8

Janku raises to one elbow, then one knee. Pain still wracks his battered body, but it seems this world is not through with him yet. "I give my thanks to you and to Erestil" he states rising to his feet. "Somebody needs to set fire to those obnoxious beasts, while I try and call upon the grace of Milani to heal our wounds...then I'm going to go kill that creature up there".

2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 CPE
2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5 CPE
2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8 CPE
2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6 CPE

I would assume Janku's Shield of Faith expired when he did

AC 24 (25) HP 30/30 AP 8/8

Janku also offers a CMW to whoever is most damaged Bulls Strength

2d8 + 4 ⇒ (6, 8) + 4 = 18

That should be the next 5 rounds.

Janku's right; make sure none of these rise in Frieland again. Ignoring his fallen bow, Kalsgrim sheathes his sword and starts up toward the cave mouth in pursuit of fleeing troll.

So how do you make sure they don't get back up? You can't just stand there bashing their heads every time they get back up. Although, that could be an interesting workshop on medieval leadership...

Janku has five rounds of action. What are the others doing in the meantime?

@Davor: Cool then. Don't forget to add the +6 channel from Janku before you subtract the 10 or 11, whatever the damage was. Then add the potion I gave you.

As Kriger sees the half-orc stir, he turns his attention back to the two-headed troll. Standing over it, he notices the creatures skull starting to reform. Rolling his eyes and grunting, he takes up his axe once again, and buries it again in the creature. "Fellas, we really need to burn these things up. Now matter how many times I bury my axe in its head, it just won't die." Kriger is actually a bit impressed by such an ability. I really have to find a way to do that, he thinks to himself.

Coup de grace(again): 3d12 + 21 ⇒ (3, 6, 2) + 21 = 32

Kriger then remembers he has oil for his lantern. "Oh wait! Nevermind, I got this." He removes the oil and his flint and steel, dousing it on the troll and lighting the beast up.

If possible, I would like to use some on both. If not, then the two-headed troll.

(AC 18, hp 15 of 77) Summoner 9

Servayn stopped to get some lantern oil on the way out of town, since he can't cast acid splash, and uses that along with Kriger's flint and steel to set the remaining trolls bodies on fire.

"Thanks to Milani, sir Janku, these burns fade like the morning dew."

Somewhere, beyond his sight, some eagles attempt to harry the troll above, but probably to no great effect...
