Hey Set, did you ever notice when I messed with Servayn? Just curious, no one mentioned it...
Oh yeah, the pantsless confusion thing, I just completely spaced posting a reaction to it! My bad. :)
You know, draconic is also the language of all chromatic dragons. So I double it's entirely vile like say....orcish or goblinoid. :P
Not that I don't think your post is great, just sayin'.
You probably meant metallic, and yeah, I'm sure golds and silvers and coppers have words for stuff like laughter and love, but Servayn's just learned the language through supernatural means over the last few days, and he's learning it with a redder 'accent,' so to speak.

Already noted there. I'm surprised nobody called dibs on that ring. Then again it is a dead guys... but technically isn't all of your loot?
I'm going to keep a constant tally of your Experience in Clip Clops profile. That way I don't accidentally forget to give credit for any encounters or exploration.
So feel free to check if you're curious where the group is at.

can we get one of you magic guys to identify that ring? Also didn't someone ask for radishes once upon a time?
Lukasz Identified it as a ring of animal blinding. Basically a ring of invisibility that only works for creatures of the animal type.
Vekkel hinted that Svetlana likes to use the radishes as an aphrodisiac for Oleg...

Using your innate magical talents you are able to delve through the workings of the ring. Thick layers of druidic magic cover the ring weaving a complicated spell. Finally you are able to discern this is a Ring of Animal Blinding. While wearing the ring if the command word "Oséour" is uttered the bearer become invisible to all animals for three minutes.
Technically only Lukasz knows what the ring does right now unless he's shared that information. I suppose he's also the one still carrying it.
"Aye, moon radishes are delicious. They'll make a soup that can set a man's bones to tingling and give him the youthful vigor of a young buck. In bed and on the hunt." He says with a dirty wink.
"Olegs a gruff goat who purrs like a kitten for radish soup! Svetlana purrs for the nights she makes it." Bokken adds laughing madly.
Risque!

"I wonder what we should trade with the kobolds? If only we knew something they where crazy about. What could that be though..."
Yeah, Servayn's knowledge-nature check is in the 'can't touch this' range, so he's got no idea...
So far he knows that they like moon radishes!

I hope the little white dots help to illustrate the boundaries of the charter. It might seem a little metagamey but you do have them written on paper.
Secondly, our wiggles are looking are looking a little scarce. This is because I'm fading out each days worth of travel as you go. Staying in one place for several days get's that fade caught up with you ;) Good news though, I'm not deleting them so at the end of your travels I'll be able to select them all, put them at 100% opacity and we can see everywhere you've been!

The dotted line is great, I really had no idea what the limits of our charter were, or if we were halfway done or 10% of the way done or what!

It's funny, 'cause kobolds are as smart as humans, on average, which means the kobold guy is probably wondering what the heck we are doing, or if we know something that he doesn't, like that Mites have the supernatural ability to know if someone mentions them by name.
Then again, *Goblins* are mechanically as smart and wise as humans, and they tend to be depicted in Pathfinder as having Int and Wis scores around 6-ish... :)
Also, doh, I blew Action points on negotiations with a flunky! Negotiations with Chief Sootscale are gonna be trickier!

Noooooooooooooooooo. My Alias got figured out!!!
You might be able to get Gary to change it to Tuck [Insertlastnamehere]or something, if you ask nicely.

Imagine everything you wouldn't know if that had turned into a fight.
Oh, I'm fine with it, I just worry about it all going to pot when I roll a 1 attempting to sweet-talk Chief Sootyfoot, and having to gank him and install Norkyl as my puppet-regent...
:)
My god, I've spelled that darn kobold's name four different ways before I got it right! Rokyn, Rokyl, Nokyl, Norkyl, whatEVER!

lol I love the idea of trying to get the mooks to live peacefully with us Garick is much more a pessimist than I. I spelled out mites because it seemed the little guy was having trouble speaking common i was hoping spelling would be beyond his grasp.the first time Set spelled the little guy's name wrong it was when he was translating so I thought he was translating the name t common lol. I like the boarder lines, and look forward to seeing our trail when we are done.

I am less worried about the kobolds turning on us, in the long-term, than on new settlers not really getting the whole 'allies' thing and negating the 'treaty' by ganking the little creeps.
The best long-term solution I can think of is to attempt to convert them to the faith of Erastil. They already show signs of heirarchy, with multiple ranks, including assigned leaders for patrols and scouting missions, which suggests that a lawful diety associated with the wilderness, hunting and community / family might fit passably well into their world-view.
The death of their shaman, who undoubtedly worships a less community-building-friendly power, turns out to be a likely necessity anyway, if we are to work with them in future.
I doubt they'll ever be lawful *good* worshippers of Erastil, but if their evil tendencies can be tempered by a more lawful neutral aspect, it could be do-able.
I'm starting to think a little more long-term than normal about stuff like this, obviously. Spell research might even come into play, if I can think up some appropriate conjuration-esque ways to make settling or developing land, or assisting in construction (by summoning longer-duration non-combat workers of some sort, like a 'summon unskilled laborer' version of the Mount spell), or whatever.
Since something like 60% of the party is skilled at Diplomacy (even Ox! With a name like Ox, diplomacy is not the first thing one would expect...), at least the inevitable dispute-resolution phase should go passably well. :)

I do not know, but I will shortly. Kingmaker #4 Blood for Blood has a detailed look at The Life of Boggards. They play a large role in that book. I've only glanced through the book so far (mainly to look at the pretty pictures).
Each book continues to be more awesome then the last. There are so many things I wish I could spoil.
