Mirage focus his eyes on Arsil and her silent answer, presuming some things and wondering about others. Then Locke distracts him. "Nine siblings? Holy Hobbie! Are you humans raised in batches as the kobolds? Oh well, that would explain it..."

"So, why don't we simply call them to join us? Or maybe call it a competition! That way they could keep an eye on you!"

"But why in seven hells aren't you two greeting like two brothers should? Do you need to hide your origins?"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

"Well my parents are both in their 700s. Father is a half celestial and mother is an elven maiden. I am the youngest and almost 75 years old." Locke explains leaving out some specifics.

Locke does not look much older than 30.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

See Mirage she says Has it been already been that long she thinks to herself reminiscing about her last birthday

The conversation most likely continues, feel free to continue it, as the trio takes the lead back to the Dragon's Breath. The others, meaning David and Vuvu follow behind with what loot they could find off of the goblins.

The villagers are about their normal business and a few wave at the group as they enter the community. The stable boys take your horses letting you collect what you want before taking the horses back. Any other items left will be delivered to your room soon after the horses are taken care of.

The inn is pleasant as ever with the assortment of companions on the second level, attendants on the ground floor, and the barmaids waiting to offer the next drink to the weary. Cornash and the lieutenant are no where to be seen. Vuvu does not accompany the group into the inn he seems to have something on his mind and diverts into the village.

Arsil will go and say hello to the bartender and to tali and the others girls that are present.

She will slump onto a chair.

Some elven wine if you have. They journey was long and hard

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

Mirage eyes everything deeply, appearing to be spotting an ambush at every corner.
"Yeah, bring me something strong. The journey has been long and easy." He moves after Arsil and sits close to her. "You know, I've never actually entered a town. I bet that if I wasn't with the lot of you someone would have tried to kill me by now."

They smile at Arsil and the bartender produces a clear bottle of elven wine with a glass goblet. A dark liquid is poured in a glass cup for the hobgoblin.

"Considering the recent goblin attack, you are likely correct, though the policing of the village has been dedicated to a squad of fresh recruits." The exotic half orc bartender responds to Mirage's statement.

"I will go see what Cornash is up to and to see what procedures he wants to do with our loot." He simply states letting the others go the bar as he heads up the stairs.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Or the V she instantly replied to locke

So how is everyone doing under the new management ? she ask in a lowered voice

The half Orc responds in kind, "Things around here have actually gotten better. Cornash knows how to run the place much better than his son. Cornash might be more fierce and passionate but that works in our favor."

Sorry everybody the weekend has been hectic with Real Life and another cold. Still posting from my phone so I can't do anything with a map.

Soon enough one of the companions comes down and hands Arsil a sealed envelope. She also has a quill in her other hand.

Inside is a contract between Cornash and the signed below, for monetary exchange of loot to creidt. Locke has signed below and there are seven other lines for others to sign.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Arsil will sign it and pass it along to mirage

Great and good for all of you. Any other interesting news while we were gone?

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

Mirage looks at the contract and avoids reading it, for now. "What is this paper for?"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

its a contract between Cornash and us for monetary exchange of loot to credit

she tells him

oh bartender this is Mirage and he is currently part of the team, would you find him some accommodation for the next few days that we shall be in town?

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

It seems the Hobgoblin is worried about something, so he really tries to be friendly with the bartender, showing him a smile with too many pointy teeth. "Yeah, please, thanks!"

When the man is no longer close he whispers to Arsil. "Are you saying we have to exchange our stuff for credit? Credit to do what, by the way?"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

We are exchanging the stuff for cash Mirage. As you can see there aren't any magic store in town so our stuff will be send to bigger markets.

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

"For cash, you say? Oh, ok then. I thought we were taking some useless piece of paper that depended on the word of the one who made it."

"To be honest with you, I've never had this much money."

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

At first it will be for paper and in the end we will get cash when the items are sold. The same paper or cash will be given to the same person who will get the magic items that we are going to order.

"No not much else news besides a few more adventurers coming in to help out with this and that." the half Orc female bartender responds to Arsil.

She looks at Mirage and in a brutish voice asks, "What accommodations you looking for or just a room?"

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

He looks at Arsil, seeking guidance, but then he remembers he is rich! "Whatever. Something nice if you have it."

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

I am going to have a look for locke

She goes to look for him

She chuckles a bit, "You do know that this inn provides for every want. Do you get my drift? A luxurious room can be provided is there anything else that you want?"

Most of the females around you giggle at the comment that there is no magic store around.

As you write your name on the contract you feel a sharp pain in your hand. It seems that the quill took your blood to write with.

Arsil the messenger takes the contract now that it is signed and says, "If you follow me I will take you to Locke."

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

that would be perfect thank you

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

"Yeah, weirdly enough I've seen that without ever putting a foot here. Well, send someone nice who wants to have a nice time with a nice fellow, along with a room, of course."

After all, he did get some nasty ideas from the ghostly experience when inside Locke's mind.

"We can arrange to have someone to check on your tastes, if you are ready Tali will take you up to the emerald room." the half Orc bartender replies.

The messenger takes Arsil up the staircase to the second floor. Through the ornate doors to a decent sized room with a large circular table both Cornash and Locke at the table, Locke seems to be recounting the details of the tomb. Locke stops as you both enter, they both look up at the two of you. The contract is given to Cornash and leaves shutting the door behind her.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

I came to see what knowledge and council you had to offer on certain things that happened, or did you want me to come back at a later time ? she ask

"You may as well have a seat and we can see what can be done. What are your questions?" Cornash says appearing to be a bit intrigued.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

i have many. What was the topic you were speaking about so that we can continue in an orderly fashion?

"I was having Locke relay what had happened within the crypt. Though it seems he is missing some gaps or at least he is just telling it from his perspective. If a ghost really was within the armor then it would likely be wise to set aside that part of your loot until you know the ghost will not come with it. Unless you want to risk it, then if there is a ghost that needs to be purged a good portion of your loot will be forfeit." Cornash replies.

"I was about done, telling Cornash about your group being caught between a wall of zombies that seemed more interested in moving us than killing us. They were also well preserved so possibly something between a zombie and a mummy. Then your group came charging through the bodies as they were dismantled by the light. Then we traveled back." He responds keeping his focus on the tomb.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

We didn't take anything from that chamber. While it was the armory and had its filled with weapons and armor, most of them were mostly unusable. Deeper with in that chamber there were larger and long tubes A black liquid with a wriggling mass within it. A green liquid with a floating skull. A tube that is filled with eyeballs with a red liquid. Three more tubes are empty. The tube with the light in it has a clear liquid of some kind within it. Inside were things that most likely were experimented on. We manage to escape shorty after that. And the Vault keeper was some sort of automaton

"Interesting, I will want to go inspect this place for my own reasons but I will wait until the goblin issues have been taken care of. I was speaking of the chamber where you interacted with a ghost and took all of its wealth. Nonetheless did you have anything else to add, interesting sights, or questions?" Cornash continues.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

a very simple: what to to plan of doing or to accomplish in this area ? and with Drake?

"Well that is a very loaded question my dear. Also it is rather hard to explain it all simply. I run this business, the Dragon's Draught, and most businesses that run through this town. My boy, Kirren, did a poor job but at least kept things serviceable. Next time it looks like I will leave someone else in charge. Drake had a agreement with Kirren, which has been turned over to me now. You are a pathfinder and if you want to know about anything outside of this town it would be best to speak to him. I hope to let those of my village flourish under my guiding hand." Cornash says trying to put it simply.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Yes i remember that conversation as you mention most of those things whn we first encountered. So you now have an agreement with Drake. Well thank you for your time then. We have all signed the loot agreement. So that is done also

she says before nodding to both of them and heading out.

While Arsil discusses the important Stuff Mirage will try some things he never did on the Emerald Room.

Mirage let's the attendant know that he is ready to go up to his room. Tali smiles and leads the hobgoblin up the stairs, around the banister and up another set of stairs up to the third floor. There she takes him to the left to a pair of sturdy looking oaken doors with an iron lock. She unlocks it with a key and hands it to him. She leads him into the room and it is a great sight.

The room is a massive suite with plenty of room to walk around. Two tables with chairs are set off on either side of the door. Green ferns dominate the corners of the room, a large four poster bed seems to be half in the room and half on the covered balcony, a bubbling silver bath stands ready next to a large green granite fireplace which roars with heat and flames. Dark oak panels make up the floor and many throw rugs are in place for comfort. Another door she indicates is the latrine and cleaning room as the last door is a simple vault where you can secure any items you choose. Only the holder of that key will be able to easily get into the vault.

"Is there any other arrangements that you will need or shall we talk about your preferences." She says in a sultry voice as she guides you around the room.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Arsil is indeed at the bar comfortably resting.

I wouldn't mind taking a little swim if you are up to it.

Assuming he agrees Arsil will head down the the river where she once found him (making sure no one followed)

Locke:
i was wondering what you planed on doing about cornash, the ghost, both drake and the fire titan. I haven't really plan that far ahead yet but i must say that the behavior of both drake and that vampire also worries me. On top of everything else

Vital Stats:

He smiles at the mention of a swim and gladly goes with her.

Arsil:
"So many issues with other people." He says almost mocking her and then takes a deep breath. "I am taking them at face value. Cornash is... well I know that he is not a normal vampire. He gives off a reflection in a mirror and can withstand daylight as if it does not affect him. The ghost, I need to bring her back to life as soon as possible, I am sure she will be grateful at that point though I am sure not grateful enough to let us take all of her wealth. We will likely need to give half of the coins back and the magical items that are keyed to her, likely one of the reasons I wanted to keep the greatsword." He explains his thoughts as he finishes taking off his armor and equipment.

"Drake, and his clone, it is basically him just less powerful. He was going to join us and be more proactive in seeing the land he is charged to observe but then the goblins attacked. He is staying close by to organize the defense of the area. He is just doing his mission, likely taking a cut of the funds provided to him. I know him from before he became a lieutenant in the pathfinder society, he was always so ambitious but that never hurt those he worked with or those he protected. Yes I guess I have much more involved with our contacts than you. No worries I am used to dealing with politics of powerful people. Remember my aged parents, they are nobles in Absolon." He continues dressing down and jumping into the water.

Once he surfaces and wades back to a shallow part he smiles at her and starts likely the hardest subject, "Helios, he sees these lands as his. He was the ruler over nearly all you can see from the top of his towers hundreds if not thousands of years ago. He doesn't know how long nor do I. Cornash and Drake will likely make contracts with him to limit is influence but for them to work together for a common goal, likely of control. The ghost likely will have an issue with this but we can tackle that issue when it arises. Only until we gain more power personally would we be able to make a difference in the other's actions. I am sure that we will come into conflict or join sides when it happens but that is as you said far ahead. Did you not want Mirage to hear this or just to get me all to yourself?"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Locke:
I know how the different pieces of the people we just talked about are most likely on a collision course. I was more interested in knowing your stance as this will be very political soon. Now as to the ghost herself. There is no rush into doing anything for her now. I promised my help into having her raised from the dead. But here is the thing that bothers me the most and that needs researching. Normally there is a time limit for raise dead and it doesn't for on the undead. The only choice is via a Resurrection spell, but is has a time limit. since the body is 400 years old i can only imagine that the artifact she mention makes it so that it would work and her body would be considered freshly dead. So not only you would either have to wait to be able to cast the spell itself or have it on a scroll and the material component is rather expensive. As for myself i have no loyalty to Drake himself having been hired just to deal with the greenskins, and politics bore me anyway. As for the titan once he has recovered his power base the other contenders do not have a chance in terms of raw power. We are talking about a race that went to war against the Gods themselves and nearly won.

"My stance, well it is better to have friends than enemies, and it is even better to keep your enemies close. I am allied with all I can though I foresee myself becoming allied with Helios in the long run, as an ambassador unless I can make stronger friends of water elements or leave this land." He says with mirth and ending with a sour look. He splashes her once and then points out a thought of his, "It will likely be a few months before I have the power to bring her back. Would you want to leave this land when that war starts?"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Locke:
A few month ? if most of you humans would power up so rapidly then all the other raced would be in deep trouble. she says smiling I am just here for the ancient lore. And i must says that i got lots of it lately. he conclude ready to head back It would be indeed be a wise move to be in the favor of a Titan as he must surely have power enough to help you with you're end goal. So did you enjoy your evening ? Now we have a choice either we wait until all our loot is sold and we can make purchasing order or we can head straight back in the field to pursue our goblin killing mission.

she will ask the same questions to the others members of the party as she meets them.
