How many bandits are we currently facing? 3? Kressel and 2 others? Assuming that Kressel is my nearest target...
Eadric circles his horse and charges back at Kressel, Kressel! Your days of villainy are at an end! The Greenbelt Wardens are here to sweep you and your kind from these lands forever!
Eadric gallops at Kressel at full speed bringing the tip of his lance in line with her heart, steadfast determination etched upon his face as he thunders in at her!
Current HP = 8 out of 12 Current AC after charge penalty = 18
EDIT: PS - I'm back from vacation and ready to play! ;) EDIT #2: Oops! Sorry! I meant to declare smite evil against Kressel. I am a bit rusty with what I have and haven't done in the last two weeks away! Hopefully you will allow me to amend my actions above to include a +3 to hit, +1 damage and include a +3 deflection bonus to AC versus attacks by Kressel (assuming she is evil). Thanks! My apologies again! :)
I'll stormburst the same bandit if he's still up
Storm Burst 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 RTouch attack
Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 plus a -2 AB for 1 rd.
Obi looks down at the arrow in his chest. It would leave a scar. He had so many scars, all given by someone else.
He looks up at the bandit as he feels heat building up inside of him. He pulls the arrow out of his chest and tosses it aside, not noticing the steam rising from it's tip or the scorched shaft. His hand erupts in fire as he draws it back...
Fire Bolt:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Damage:1d6 ⇒ 4
..and throws a third bolt of flame directly at the bowman.
I know. But they're still out for at least an hour. In that time we'll have won and can do with them as we will or they will have won and will do with us as they will.
Garric delays till after Ellaria to see if she can disable the bandit leader. If not, apply my attack to her. If so, apply it to the bandit who shot me.
Garric grasps his bow tightly and shoots one of the bandits, his hatred fueling his aim.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20; Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7...add +1 hit and +1 damage if within point blank range!

Your arrow fires true into Kressel catching her in the throat and ensuring that no more potions will save her from the death she deserved
I'll try to locate some rope to tie up our prisoners. There should be two or three of them. I will aid them in maintaining an unconscious circumstance while tying them up.
Eadric as you consider your wounds. A small voice and face appear in front of you. Imiria stares at you with her big round eyes.
"Let me sing the song my mother used to sing to make things better"
Eadric gains healing
1d8 ⇒ 5
Seeing that Obi is injured Imiria does the say for Obi.
Obi gains healing
1d8 ⇒ 5
"This is tha place where they cut off mah hand, this is where the night it happened everything went crazy and I was lost in tha woods."
Spotting Kressel Imiria hits the corpse with a small wooden club. "Shes a one cut off mah hand."
"She ain't tha boss though the boss is a monster of a man. Calls himself the Stag Lord. He’s supposed tah be a deadeye with the bow, an they say he crushed a prisoner’s hand to mush in one fist. He wears a creepy stag helmet on—some of tha bandits think he ain’t got no face under it, but not me—I think that creepy helm is his face!”
As you examime the wagon it is obvious that the wagon is not going anywhere. The bandits have set the wagon on logs and wheels against it, likely they ues it to dupe travelers into a trap....
As you look around the wagon....
Make a reflex save DC 12
Or take damage from the old bear trap
1d6 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
"I was at Oleg's an now I am not, goat an I are going intah tha woods an find a place o our own. Besides three men arrived at Oleg's claiming tah be there tah help with tha bandits, but I don't trust tha look o them!"
She puts her hand on the goat and becons him to explore the camp with her
Pretty soon she has taken a backpack, blanket, and other small items from the bandit camp.
She notices the bandits tied up and some of them are even coming around.
"I am sure we are tah be meetin again, we will be neighbors after all."
Still on vacation, not much internet here, I'm supposed to be home in a couple of days.
Ellaria scans the battlefield and bandit camp, and responds to the bandit: "Well, you say that this <she makes a gesture to the place where the spoils are concentrated> is the loot you've had here?"
To the rest of the group: "I don't like the idea of letting such a small girl go off into the woods. Having a healing song or not, a one armed girl would have a very hard, if not impossible life here..."
"Tha loot is under tha supplies you ave tah look harder fer it."
As you uncover the additional stuff you find...
Spoiler:
321 sp
90 gp
a pair of silver earrings
a wooden music box
three crates of furs and hides
polished wooden case of 8 bottles of green herbal liquor
As you uncover stuff the bandits continues to talk.......
“The Stag Lord is a bloody drunk. All that booze under the
platform’s for him. He's half of what he used to be, and ain’t
never been right in the head. A few weeks ago he punched
my horse for spittin' in the yard. Personally, I wouldn't careif he dropped dead tomorrow, but even drunk out of his
mind he's still got a fair amount of fight to him.”
Garric takes the vial with the markings from the platform and puts in the loot pile. He will then search the other platform as well, collecting arrows and equipment. He will wait for daybreak and search the camp grounds extensively, searching Kressle's tent, the base of the trees, the fallen logs, etc.. Take 20!
"Imiria, you are good, but you are also very young to out on your own. How about we talk some more about it on the way back to Olegs?"
While in route:
"I'm not trying to trick you or belittle you. You are rather young to be out on your own. Plus you're missing a hand. You could stay around Svetlana and Oleg for a couple of years getting used to it. While doing that you can spend time getting to know the land better, keeping Svetlana busy - I bet she'd like having a kid around -, and we could use someone with your abilities around. In return, you earn money to purchase supplies. You'll need stuff to build a home, furnish it, and keep yourself going. What do you say?"
Eadric is again stunned when Imiria appears. His eyes well up as she sings her song and he feels the surge of healing energy mend his wound. When she finishes her song, Eadric embraces her in a hug before speaking in a quiet voice. Imiria! How is it that you have come to the bandit camp all by yourself? This is indeed not a place for a child, even one as obviously unique as yourself! I agree with the others, it would be best if you would return with us to Oleg's. Furthermore, it is my sincere hope that you might consider the idea of going to live with my parent's and sister in Restov.
Without waiting for her response, Eadric reaches down inside his shirt and retrieves the locket that belonged to Imirai's mother. Here child. This belongs to you now. You should have it! He removes the locket and offers it to her.
Eadric strides over to Kressle's corpse and reaches down to examine her fingers. Apparently not finding what he was hoping to, he begins searching her body. Assuming he does not find a ring as none has been found by anyone else so far... After a few minutes looking and satisfied she does not possess the ring, Eadric walk over to where the bandits are tied up. I am looking for Svetlana's ring! Her wedding ring! Which of you know what Kressle has done with it?
Speaking to the party members, Has anyone found any evidence of our missing companions?
Turning to the bandits, You there, I seek the whereabouts of missing friends! A young human man, a female halfling priestess, a ruggged older human man and an elven male. Tell me if you have met them and what became of them or where I might find them! Speak the truth and speak quickly or I will string you up for your crimes from yonder tree!
Stag Lord eh? It seems that we have out work cut out for us. Looming over the bound bandits, Eadric growls, You are going to tell us everything you know about the Stag Lord! Where he is. How many more bandits he has with him! Everything! Do this and you might just avoid the fate you so richly deserve!
Spoken in Ellaria's direction, You had better get back to Oleg's as soon as you can. You are going to have to get busy building a stockade to hold all 'your' prisoners!
Spying Obi Eadric offers, Stings a little doesn't it? with a wink. It looks like you are made of stern stuff little one! I would suggest not standing in the path of any more arrows in the future however! Leave that to me! as he laughs heartily.
Garric! Torod! You have my thanks and blessings for all the good that you have done this night! It is an honor to have fought along side you! Obi and Ellaria! The same as always to you!
We should gather what we can and make for Oleg's. We can regroup and resupply before planning our next step! Garric, Torod, I would hope that you would consider staying on with us. At least for a while.
Sorry for the lengthy and disjointed post, I have been really busy this last week and there are a lot of loose ends to deal with. I thought one post to get them all out there again would help organize and speed things up. My availability to post should increase dramatically this week. For those who aren't familiar with Eadric and his extensive verbiage? You have been warned! ;)
"Thank you for the locket it is a treasure. I can find a place maybe closer to Oleg's but not there! The men name themselves as coming to help with bandits but they look as much like bandits as this lot here looks!"
Imiria points at the bandits emphasizing her words.
perception (use your roll already made)
DC 16
Spoiler:
one of the bandits shudders at the gesture Imiria just made!
“Wye may not be for telling you a thing but just yesterday a couple of bags of loot
were stolen by a group of filthy mites—the annoying little bastards escaped with both bags, and likely taken it back to their hole under the old sycamore tree. I had not been wanting it back since it had a bunch of coppers and some cheap-looking trinkets.”
“It is hard keeping track of who’s part of this bandit brigade so we use a master phrase as a sort of password to get in to the fort on the northeast shore of the Tuskwater. Unless it’s been changed recently, the current phrase is, ‘By the
Bloody Bones of St. Gilmorg, who wants to know?’ And no, I have no idea who ‘St. Gilmorg’ is.”
“An the last thing I know is the Stag Lord keeps a strange old man locked up in the
basement. I suspect the old guy might actually be running things, with the Stag Lord as a puppet, you know. I got a look into the old guy’s eyes once, and it terrified me. He ain't someone I'd want to cross.”
"I have told you all that I know in hopes you remember when a time for punishment comes!"
Upon hearing Wye's evasion of his question regarding his missing comrades, Eadric's face flushes with anger. He storms over to the bound bandit, looming over him. Incriminate yourself?! I am past worrying about whether you are guilty or not! You have all already been found guilty of banditry by your presence here in this camp and your words and actions here this evening! There is nothing to be gained by denying your actions now. Denying your guilt will not assuage my desire to see your just punishment served upon you! The rights and powers vested in me by the charter which I now carry clearly spells out my duties in this matter! In fact, your words reinforce your position as unrepentant about your banditry! For this I am sworn to hang you or put you to the sword!
Eadric lets the last few words hang ominously in the air. His hand tightens upon his sword for greater effect.
Be it known however, that anyone who wishes a chance at mercy, need only answer my inquiry truthfully! Do any of you know what has become of those I seek?
"I am not sure why I am going back other than the gold and a chance to buy something for goat. .. I told you there are men there they are supposed to make the place safe from bandits, but I do not trust them at all....."
"They do not even stay at Oleg's they just set up a tent an sleep there... I watched them for awhile and practiced with my club a little..."
Imiria cracks a smile at that remark....
"Then I decided to leave, never been one to sit around...."
"That bandit said that those bottles were liquior of some sort, I always wanted to try some and besides I am thirsty!"
