You were wondering about the bandit critting and killing the Stag Lord when another 10 points of damage didn't take him out? Sounds like Eadric didn't have to worry.
I think Kenderkin did not mean to use the Imiria avatar. I thought that was Dovan and Auchs talking to one another.
Kenderkin, it may help if you were to be more descriptive. It may not have changed our actions if you had told us that they backed up a few steps, and it even makes a lot of sense, but we can't assume. We can only go on what you tell us or risk totally misreading the situation. The issue with the maps makes this doubly true in combat.
I don't mean to rant or say that you've been doing a bad job, but, at least in this area, you could improve.

I think that is Imiria speaking myself... it doesn't make any sense for Dovan to be saying that.
I make the maps, but then they aren't really utilized... which I why I have to ask each time a map update is asked for, because no one but myself lists actions and position for the most part.
And one throw away line about them "backing up" does not account for tactical positioning. I could just as easily point out that nowhere does it say subsequently that Dovan and Auchs move forward... and I sure didn't say that Eadric moves forward and conveniently places himself between the two bandits... this is why we use rules and maps, to avoid this kind of stuff.

And KK added Hero Points here... they have been on my character sheet ever since.
It is not the description was not there I am hearing I did not do a good job describing....
I guess an improvement would be
the remaining bandits back away out of weapon reach.....
Highlighting that information in the post to give it ExtraEmphasis
Does anyone have better suggestions?
Feed-back makes me better!
I was sure I did the attempt to parley correctly...
....I just forgot how blood-thirsty my paladin is :)
I am often half sleep when I read and make posts so it is possible I missed some details in there somewhere.
Anyhow, where were we? Oh yeah! Killing some bandits.

If we are straightneing out the narrative then I would be remiss in not pointing out, that from what I can tell, a previously unwounded Akiros went down to an AoO that did 6 damage. Even if it was a critical (which it wasn't) there is no way he should have died from from a single attack doing 12 damage... All of Eadric's attacks were directed at the Stag Lord... except for the two AoO rolled in the one post here. Neither of which threaten a crit.
As for suggestions? :)
Use the maps and actions. ;)
ie.
As the Stag Lord falls, Dovan Grabs the arm of Auchs and backs them away full round action withdraw to AO 12 (Dovan) and AO 13 (Auchs) while holding his weapon defensively.
Dovan speaks as he back peddles, "Hold your hand perchance Auchs an I might leave now the staglord is no more? We can make recompense with information." Auchs looks extremely confused at the moment... free action speech
The important parts are blue. :) That leaves no question as to what is happening.
I suggest that we take away the precise strike damage and say you started forwards; to your companions surprise: and took a good hit from Aucks, but also gave Dovan a good hit as well....
Then it is just a forwards momentum!

Give me everyone's positions again... and I'll update the map. From then on, lets use the map and the coordinates along with init/actions/etc. to avoid confusion.
I think the third option is a good idea. I love Obi and the rest of the group, but I haven't really been feeling it lately. The discussion might remedy that.
I am all in no matter what.
My understanding is that we are in the middle of the BIG fight and would rather finish it before the discussion, though i am flexible with it.
