The one smashed does not arise, but most of them are fully functional except the one hit hard by the dwarf. The priest retreats, but another takes his place and gestures at Ozzy.

Didn't see Ozzy had actually moved past the zombies--they wanted to hit him.
The wizard had bravely moved past the zombies, pretending to be under the influence of a spell. Nevertheless, they pummeled at him as he went by, and Ozzy realizes that was the intent of the spell. He manages to intone his force bolt as he goes down. This freed up the ranger to tumble past the zombies, but her arrow deflects off the armor of the priest. From the rear more armored clerics move up to attack.

Suiting actions to words, Kelgan slides to his left and sends a downward swing of his axe between two zombies, aiming for the robed priest.

Horster materializes and catches the priest unawares. His attack fails to get through the armor of the evil priest. Kelgan swings powerfully, but wide.

The high priest and priest and priest move to flank Horster after taking out their maces. The evil blessing continues to inspire them.

The wandering dwarf clenches his teeth and shakes his head to clear it. Keeping his shield high, he waits for what he hopes is a better opening against the acolyte to his right. With a quick half-feint high, he brings his axe around in a low arc at the priest's leg.

That's all just fluff...here's a normal swing. With Bless balancing Bane (thanks for the reminder, Horster), he's back up to +3

The heroes continue to be frustrated getting through the wall of zombies. The zombies attack Horster, Mit'l Kelgan and Crom (in that order).

The priest speaks in a husky voice: "You will augment those you have destroyed with your own bodies!!"

Mit'l takes a hit from a bandages zombie. You notice that two of these zombies are orcs with tribal markings from each of the tribes you have met.

This is a right bloodbath!

Looking desperately at Kelgan and Mit'l, Horster yells, "If any of you boys wanna throw in some magic, now's when!"

Wanderer, but we're in a fix...Well, it might be worth it! Kelgan thinks, seeing Morgan and Ozmund down.

Kelgan will channel energy (2 remaining today) to heal. Unfortunately, he does not have selective channel, so the evil clerics will be included.

1d6 ⇒ 3 points to all living creatures within 30' of Kelgan.

Yeah, I've been holding off on the channel until Morgan was critical as I didn't want to heal the priests, and was really hoping to get to hit the zombies again!

If the priests are on full HP, doubt it matters. Let's try and get Morgan and Ozzy up to get a few strikes in too... This is starting to resemble a TPK. :P


The healing force knits the wounds of two of the priests as well as friends.

The priests look to renew their assault after Horster tumbles and strikes a zombie cutting his bandages, but not dissipating his evil energy.

The two acolytes begin to drag Morgan and the wizard back to their chambers.

"No one attacks the Dark Cabal!! Prepare those two for embalming!!"

The two priests begin to cast after stepping back their version of infernal healing and their wounds continue to close.
