Just wait until you get to 2 or 3.... ¬_¬

Although my favourite is the introduction of Molly.

Heheh,
Glad your enjoying them Treppa! :)

Yeah, I feel that Dead BEat is the best overall book. Lots of cool action scenes, (including the best ride through the city ever!) and a happy balance of new PC's, (I mean characters), mystery and mayhem, (Dresden Style).

Death Masks always felt like there was a book missing in the series, and I was always catching up to something we should have already known. ;P I would have to agree that it is probably not the best intro to the series.

The wiseassery was always my favorite part of the series. I see that Butcher has authored A Spider Man novel, and absolutely MUST find it at the library and read it, as I think the authors talent for wiseasery writing to be perfect for the wise cracking superhero.

EDIT- The intro of Molly is a pretty fun too! :)

Male Efreeti, advanced manthing 45HD

hah; life, just getting over being sick myself and what happens; just broke a filling; sheesh; looks like I might need a crown or worse.

OW! Wow, that stinks! :(

I hope you have decent Dental plan. My medical plan is pretty good, but every time I have to take the kids to the dentist it costs me a fortune!

At least your not sick anymore?!? :D

Rags: Your alias need feex in Gameplay.

Vale: I hear ya. I currently have four broken teeth, no dental, and not enough to get 'em fixed. It gets painful. That's what I get for catching a line drive with my chin, though. ;)

With your CHIN?!?

OWieowieowie!

Could have been worse. A couple of inches lower and it would have been fractured larynx territory. That rarely ends well. I happily accept the crumbling teeth!

So regarding the XP issue, Danny you have 3 skills to improve by 1 point (remember to keep to the pyramid/column).

Aximeus you have 2; you could improve a single 2→3 and then either a 3→4 or a 4→5. Alternatively you can have 2 more skills at level 1.

Note: In the campaign tab is a breakdown of all the skills and their uses.

If you wish me to Fast-Forward past the ROAB bloke and to you escaping into the night feel free to say so. (Of course we have lots of posts thick and fast)

And by the time the boat chugs into the shore, you can reset all your Stress and get rid of it. Also remember to REFILL YOUR FATE POINTS TO FULL.

I'm good with continuing RP with this jamoke if you guys are. I haven't finished leveling Sal anyway, and will need time to rest for the moderate consequence to go away.

I'm good too. I figured we'd get through this part (meaning, 'escape the authorities and maybe beat, I mean get a clue from the bad guy) and then we'd start the next book. :)

Somewhere in there I hope to update my PC's of course, (I'm a little behind, again) :(

That's cool Rags, just making sure I wasn't dragging everything out. And don't worry about updating Danny too much, as we deal with story over rolls, mostly.

Just something linked to me Brigid. NSFW

Apparently my goddess is hot, and not just because she's on fire? :)

Apologies for the sluggardly pace, just trying to devise a good way for you all to start/continue the next chapter - without starting you all too far apart.

I have an idea however. (although I remember Tilnar, will have little posting for the next week).

Sal is leveled up. I bumped up Weapons to +2 for general combat and added Intimidation at +1. Added the Refresh to Fate Points. No other changes.

Alrighty, I'm going to do a little time jump to a week in the future. With a paragraph/section for each of you; then have you meet with Letitia at the art exhibition. Does this sounds alright?

Cool,... :)

I'm going to take another look at the skills, I'm ok with having little or no Resources, (starving artist and all) ;) but I want to see if the other skills mean what I THOUGHT they meant when I made him! ;)

Also, I was toying with the idea of adding an actual power (probably not this time, but maybe next major milestone) Something like a sonic scream, (that he could have learned from the banshee he met in the earlier game, and finally figured out how to duplicate.)

Of course, maybe that's also a hint of what his mother actually is, since the nice Baldur was deliberately vague on that little detail,... ;P

Just a thought,

There's a brief list in the campaign tab, depending if you have the book.

Yeah, and everyone regarding resources - generally you can be assumed to have whatever you want upto a certain level. So far everyone has done this really well, as it can be tricky.

Hah! Edit-ninja'd! :)

Sorry, I didn't know if you would be around long enough for me to put my whole thoughts down. Hence a quick post and an edit paragraph addition.

Anyway hope the performance is going smoothly, well as smooth as any performance can go.

Thanks,
the performances are going well, actually. (Very low-key show compared to Peter Pan, or the upcoming Little Mermaid Jr!)

Only one tech glitch so far in 4 shows, (Feather drop string jammed yesterday) if that's the worst that happens, it's a good show!
:D

DSX: Is there any description for Trip's place?

So, I just finished Dead Beat and was amused to see that the grand finale showdown was at Kendall College in Evanston, where I worked in the library for a year.

Village & hint of Manor & Actual Manor is Londesborough Hall

Sal is o_O

Yep, Trip is rich.... super rich. Old money.

I have extended the gap to 4 weeks to the near the start of April.... in fact it's the 31st of March when the exhibition at the Gallery takes place.

I though this was more in fitting with the Dresden Files books where whole months and years can drift by between books. Also it means that RL isn't so out of sync with the game. (For example the last game day took 6+ months of Real Time).

Oh and I'm doing a round up of external things that happened, however if you wish to add anything else feel free.

Heheh, added a (plastic) 'cooked duck' to the feather drop for the last show. So after the feathers fell, it was followed by a cooked duck, cartoon style. The kids loved it. :)
(Geese that just flew offstage were shot at by hunters) ;)

ANYway,... Onto the next insanity!

Thx for the link to the Triad info DSXM, but I don't see anything about a 'Straw sandal' in the wiki link? WHat's that about? Is it a sort of 'welcome to the club' momento, as well as the obvious fatherly warning that came with it? ;)

EDIT- AH-HAH! Found it! Under Organization. Wow, Danny got promoted. ;P
He's not sure whether to be flattered, or frightened. :o

That sounds really fun, glad to hear it was so well received.

A "432" indicates "Straw Sandal" rank[3] - Liaison Oficer. It's sort of him welcoming you to his organisation :P

Yeah, Like I said, Flattered? Or frightened?!? ;P

Sorry so slow lately, I'm going to try to do a good Danny-esque post today, get the ball rolling here. :)

Although with Danny's track record with public events and soirees, he's probably a little cautious on this one,... ;P

(Let's see, Trolls? check, Undead musicians/assassins? Check, Magic armored dudes? Check, Goons and Ghouls? Check,... What's next?!?) ;)

Bwahahaha...

But don't worry, we are all a little busy/slow lately.

My post is essentially ready, but I can't figure out what to wear!

Yes, seriously.

ROFLMAO!

Thanks Treppa, I needed that! :)

And,... (Danny solo)

"Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthdau dear Raaaaaaggy! Happy birthday to me!"

:D

Awwww,... Shucks,...
;P

Could it possibly be Ragadolf's birthday?

How's this for a gallery event outfit?

Mmmm,... COULD be,... :)

And I like the outfit!

Although I'm fairly certain it looks better on you (or any female) than myself of course,... ;P

Careful, Danny might ask you to join the band! :)

I have asked James Martin to join us. He might be coming in with his Were-goat (from the recruitment thread). So hopefully we can make him welcome and smoothly integrate his PC.

:)

Cool,
That will be a new twist.

Hope he's ready for Danny, sorry, but a were-goat will bring out the puns in Danny! :)

(Whom I kidding? It will bring out the puns in ME!) :)

Rags, don't be baaaaad.

Welcome, James! :D

Thanks! I will be putting my character sheet together over the weekend. In the meantime...

Oh god the puns. Oh the were-manity!

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

Will start playing catch-up.

And welcome to the new guy -- though I apologize, but I suspect that Kenneth will always have to call you Billy.

So long as he stays warm.

Tangris:
Everything looks really great with the character, here's some idea's I was hoping that we might incorporate. Especially since some of the group have met Balder and this could be another nice tie in. I'll add some more thoughts in the morning.
Goat that eats from the World tree and creates mead.

Goats that pull Thor's chariot.

Wow. Now THAT's a snowbank! :)

I'm hoping that Bunny and Andrew will give me some info about the 'big deal' going down soon, but trying a little RP to win his trust. I don't want to take TOO long, but coming right out and asking him is a littel too comic-booky, even for me! ;P

SPEAKING OF! Did you all know that there is a new Dres Files comic out in stores now? Takes place right after book 1, and it is a brand new story from the man himself! :D

I can't wait for issue 2! ;P

Cool, because I have the first part of "Fool Moon". Some friends got it for me when they were in Washington state. And I've seen/browsed "Welcome to the Jungle", but as with most graphic novels they are a little (justifiably) pricy.

And Rags you are doing a great job.

'Welcome to the Jungle' was great! (IMHO)

Yeah, I wish I had the brains to just wait for the collected format instead of buying them individually as they come out. At least that way you save a little bit of money. ;P

And thanks, trying hard to keep up with everyone else! :D

James, I am short guest appearances in my background since I joined late. If you would like to do a common backstory incident, Sal is from the US, has been deployed to Afghanistan, and has been living in Soho (the London one). I would be very happy to work something up with you.

Not sure what you need Treppa, But If you need a guest star for one of your stories, Danny will be happy to volunteer. ;)

It could have been one of those infamous 'we met but didn't get to actually meet' things. :) Just sort of a drive-by assistance during an incident.

Danny was raised in the US, and has already been placed at New Orleans as a guest star, have him show up wherever you were (he was on tour with 'X' wannabe band group at the time) for a little illusionary assistance! :D

Physical OXOOOO Mental OO Social OOOO; 3 fate points

Treppa, sounds good to me. Tagris has been around Europe, lived in Minnesota and Florida. Any one of those moments would work for him.
