There is a nice cave to visit outside of Tucson and if you get to Austria; visit the salt mines there for sure; you even get to ride an underground boat.
Sorry all got locked out of paizo...many thanks to Gary for being super awesome. I'll update in the morning. Glad to hear you had a great holiday Valegrim.
I'm thinking that we should GO and see the lotus blossom buyer in person. Then decide whether to 'convince' him to tell us what he knows, or trick him into leading us to whoever he's mixing lotus juice for. ;)
Just a feeling, our best chance of finding the nuke is to find the hide- out of the dragon-armor dude. What does everyone else think?
Alright when you get together you discuss what you have learnt and lay out the following:
Baldur, Warwick (Jericho's Dad), Roxanna (Danny's Mum) & 'Traitor', went to China stole an item that would allow the Dragon Emperor to summon a HUGE DRAGON ad gain enough power to take over.
Roxanna sealed this item away, along with herself as the group were betrayed.
She or the item can only be freed with the KEY- Alicia. Thus the Dragon-Emperor wants it
Dragon-Emperor requires Lotus Blossom tea to travel outside China. You are making the antidote!
A man purchased this from Sara - You have his address & telephone number
The ROAB are an anti-supernatural extremist organisation.
They have hired Saraya - the sorceress, to find Alicia.
The ROAB are trying to kill Bunny, the werewolf stripper, because of her association with councillor Fairweather.
Some Chinese Terrorists have brought a dirty bomb into London (Soho area).
British Government are moving up north during the crisis.
It's cool, I just hope my re-caps don't seem like I'm writing a book or forcing the story in any way. Or worse still spoiling any surprises or discoveries you make.
Do any of us have knowledge of how government works? I mean, as a player, I'm tempted to declare the dirty bomb threat, credible or no, to be secondary and the means to get government moving up north to a more easily accessible sort of spot -- but Kenneth wasn't a poli-sci major, and further, as a Scot, he's probably not the most enamoured of Downing Street, Commons or Lords... so he may not so much care about the PM and Cabinet -- and how they're suddenly likely within easy reach of all the (more) local nasties.
I am sure you (your PC's) have at least a rudimentary knowledge of the British Governmental System. Do you want a break-down of the basic system, or any pointers?
EDIT: That wasn't meant to sound condescending. Errr sorry if it does.
Oh I'm sure he understands the basic system - he lives there -- I was more thinking about the implications of government being moved north (and thus, put in a place where they could be grabbed and either impersonated or put under some sort of compulsion).
While others might benefit from the overall high-level description of the system, I'm rather familiar with it, other than having a Senate replacing Lords and a Governor General acting on Her Majesty's behalf. :)
Ohmigosh, I never even realized that! Thanks Tilnar!
I wonder how to justify that the PC's realize that, (because I shure didn't see it!) The government personnel are very vulnerable compared to their 'fort' of Downing street!
(And Thank you Dr Who for showing general (Fantasy) layout/security of Downing Street!) ;P
Hey All, sorry so slow, Little busy with being overly-concerned about the hurricane. So far all I have is a little breeze.
(Pray that keeps up!) :)
I'll be back on track tomorrow or the next day. ANyone have a direction they want to go? I'm leaning towards agreeing with Tilnar, even if they DO have a bomb, it's most likely a diversion.
So, we basically have two choices, (Unless I'm missing something else?)
1- we go after the chinese threat, find the armor-dude and hope we can prepare enough ahead of time to neutralize him, maybe even send him back to china.
2- We deal with the ROAB. They also want the girl it looks like, and they probably won't be any nicer to her than the Dragon-dude would.
Just FYI, Danny does NOT have a plan. (By which I mean that his player has no plan!) ;P
Danny is a spur of the moment guy. He'll walk up to the devil and try to sweet talk him out of something, (and possibly succeed!) if he feels there's enough reason to do so. But we're talking about nukes and governments,... he feels a little out of his league.
Now, if we can find this dragon guy, he's perfectly willing to walk in dressed as a waiter and try to serve him a dose of 'go-home' tea! ;D
So, we need to find the dragon guy, and our best lead is the guy who bought the stuff he needs for his special tea, right? It seems like our best bet is to find the purchaser, and either scare him or follow him to the dragon-armor dude.
Cuz it seems to Danny that if we don't stop this guy, the nuke might be the lesser of two evils! ;P
