With Fijit down the two four armed creatures bare thier teeth at Palomia, step to the side and flank her. They strike with sharp claws!

"Three or four are down, Nashara come help us please! Figit isn't moving. HURRY!!

The last strike was almost soothing as Kaad begins the process of setting down.

I've spent three rounds of rage. Kaad had only asked for a split of gold at this point. There was nothing else useful to him at the moment. A list of distributed loot would be useful for future reference.

Relas emits an anguished cry and rushes at one of the skeletons who dared to strike her down, jaws snapping with bone-crushing force!

Unfortunately his anger and anguish prove too much for him to properly estimate the distance between him and his foe and his teeth click together harmlessly against nothing but air.

That's 1 round; Relas gets one more before he poofs unless Palomia is healed back to consciousness before then.

Nashara:

Nashara pulls back the veil of physical reality and acts as a conduit for magic. Her healing surges with positive energy. The magic manifests in Palomia's wounds as they close, and the veil between magic and the mundane is one again closed. But there is something quite different this time. A stutter. The corridor she created remains open for a split second longer than it should. Long enough to let in a deep chill down Nashara's spine. In a flash she recalls looking at a wagon wheel as she guarded a caravan into Torch. It turns to stone, and at once she is looking at Torch from a distance. From all sides a million scarab beetles besiege the city. Then they erupt like an explosion and fly into the sky holding tiny bits of clay. Val screams. Palomia is beneath her, eyes opening. Bones of a skeleton creature lay close, destroyed by an ally. They fall in a peculiar pattern, a swirl, like a whirlpool sucking it into the sand, but the swirl is not moving.

As the healing energy from Fijit's channel washes over her, the worst of Palomia's wounds seem to mend and she opens her eyes. She can still hear the sounds of battle going on around her and her vision is a strange mix of night sky and the shapes of her companions moving about. She then feels someone place a hand on her shoulder and another surge of healing energy flow through her, closing more of her wounds.

Suddenly, the reality of her position registers in her mind. She's alive, but on the ground with at least one of those skeleton creatures standing over her, battling with her companions. She does the only thing that she can think of to do at this point and curls into a defensive ball.

"AUGH, KILL IT!"

With Askra having stepped up behind the creature he was fighting and utterly decimating it, Relas turns his attention to the one remaining skeleton. He takes a wide berth around his companions and moves up behind it, effectively sandwiching it between himself and Kaad.

As for marching order I thought we already disussed this and acted as such. So far Askra has been rearguard behind Jean keeping an eye out for skulks. If Kaad wants a turn then Askra will go number two behind Nashara. She has been silently chafing at being far from the battlefront when we were in the skulk warren...

Nashara and Askra lead the party through the silent desert. Beyond Nashara's sword and Val's torch, there is only darkness and shadows of strange rock formations. After several cautious minutes of traveling, the group arrives at a glowing cave. The entrance to the cave is spacious, 10 feet wide and 15 feet tall. The reddish rock in the cavern is illuminated by one wall that is particularly bright. The wall at the terminus of the cave is about 30 feet in, and sheds light as though the rock its self was magical.

Kaad notices a very peculiar coral-like white shell hanging from the ceiling in the center of the cave, halfway in. He lets the party know of this discovery.
