Ian fails to hit the cultist but Caelash manages to hit it right in the eye, it doesn't seem to mind much unfortunatly and continues to attack Uriel
Slam 1
To hit
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
To wound
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 4) + 5 = 10

To wound
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (4, 7) + 5 = 16

Tongue
To hit
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
if the tongue attack hits you need to pass a fort save

Uriel your turn

Actually you failed the fort DC by 1 and thus you are paralyzed for 1d4 ⇒ 3 minutes

Ian your turn

male half elf level 1 ranger(horselord)/summoner level 2 cavailer/druid level 3 ranger(horselord) /cleric level 4 fighter(mounted fury)/bard level 5 gunslinger/rouge(scout) level 6 cavalier/summoner level 7 ranger/ summoner

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Caelash fires a wild shot at the cultist and then climbs down from his perch.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 9 + 1 - 4 = 23; damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Sprocket maneuvers to flank with Ian and bites the cultist.

Bite 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 2 = 18; damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Cheliax

Ian fails to hit the cultist at all, but Caelash manages to get another hit with his arrow.

The cultist now unleashes his furry on Ian

Not his furry! We're all doomed! ;)

Did my eidolon hit at all?

male half elf level 1 ranger(horselord)/summoner level 2 cavailer/druid level 3 ranger(horselord) /cleric level 4 fighter(mounted fury)/bard level 5 gunslinger/rouge(scout) level 6 cavalier/summoner level 7 ranger/ summoner

Cheliax

No... eidolon missed... and Ian is now paralysed for 1d4 ⇒ 1 minutes

Caelash runs toward the fray. Run action to move 160 ft closer; now 140 ft away.

Sprocket bites at the cultist.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15; damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Uriel changes into a being of blinding white energy energy and appears to heal and he is moving of his own volition.

In Celestial:

I am not that easy of a mark, fiend!

mechanics:

standard action
Energy Body (Su): As a standard action, you can transform your body into pure life energy, resembling a golden-white fire elemental. In this form, you gain the elemental subtype and give off a warm, welcoming light that increases the light level within 10 feet by one step, up to normal light. Any undead creature striking you with its body or a handheld weapon deals normal damage, but at the same time the attacker takes 1d6 points of positive energy damage + 1 point per oracle level. Creatures wielding melee weapons with reach are not subject to this damage if they attack you. If you grapple or attack an undead creature using unarmed strikes or natural weapons, you may deal this damage in place of the normal damage for the attack. Once per round, if you pass through a living allied creature’s square or the ally passes through your square, it heals 1d6 hit points + 1 per oracle level. You may use this ability to heal yourself as a move action. You choose whether or not to heal a creature when it passes through your space. You may return to your normal form as a free action. You may remain in energy body form for a number of rounds per day equal to your oracle level.

Uriel is paralyzed but movement is not required to perform this.
He heals himself as a move action using the life power he has gained...
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

In this form he has the elemental subtype:
An elemental has the following features.

[b]Immunity to bleed, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning.
Not subject to critical hits or flanking. Does not take additional damage from precision-based attacks, such as sneak attack.
Proficient with natural weapons only, unless generally humanoid in form, in which case proficient with all simple weapons and any weapons mentioned in its entry.
Proficient with whatever type of armor (light, medium, or heavy) it is described as wearing, as well as all lighter types. Elementals not indicated as wearing armor are not proficient with armor. Elementals are proficient with shields if they are proficient with any form of armor.
Elementals do not breathe, eat, or sleep.

So, he is currently immune to paralysis.

Move action:

Something isn't working with the spoiler. I don't know if it is my end or paizo. He doesn't need to move ot do this:

Energy Body (Su): As a standard action, you can transform your body into pure life energy, resembling a golden-white fire elemental. You may use this ability to heal yourself as a move action. You choose whether or not to heal a creature when it passes through your space. You may return to your normal form as a free action. You may remain in energy body form for a number of rounds per day equal to your oracle level.

heal self 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

So, just exactly where is the initiative order? Uriel could have done the above after failing his fortitude save but I didn't post after ulgulanoth said that he failed. No big deal. But, it seems that Uriel should have gone after the cultist attacked Ian. So, is it now the Cultist's turn and then Uriel's again?

Paralysis says you cannot "move or act." I hope you're right!

Spoiler:

This special attack renders the victim immobile. Paralyzed creatures cannot move, speak, or take any physical actions. The creature is rooted to the spot, frozen and helpless. Paralysis works on the body, and a character can usually resist it with a Fortitude saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 the paralyzing creature’s racial HD + the paralyzing creature’s Con modifier; the DC is given in the creature’s description). Unlike hold person and similar effects, a paralysis effect does not allow a new save each round. A winged creature flying in the air at the time that it is paralyzed cannot flap its wings and falls. A swimmer can’t swim and may drown. The duration of the paralysis varies and is included in the creature’s description.

Format: paralysis (1d4 rounds, DC 18); Location: Special Attacks and individual attacks.

***
Paralyzed creatures cannot move, speak, or take any physical actions.

***

So, it doesn't restrict all actions.

I figured that the change is an act of will (to induce a physical change) rather than a physicaL act but I guess this is up to ulgulanoth.

I'm hoping he will agree anyway.

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Oh wow, nice, well then it would be Uriel's Turn to act

Uriel once again begins striking at the cultist.

mechanics:

full attack with scimitar, smite still in effect...

first attack
attack 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
critical confirmation on a natural 18-20
attack 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

second attack
attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
critical confirmation on a natural 18-20
attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Uriel takes a five foot step with the intent of allowing Caelash or Sprocket to come in and flank...

Note: IF he can take his five foot step first and flank with Sprocket to get the extra +2 to hit, he will.

Question: Will Uriel be paralyzed once again when he returns to his natural form?

Note: I could read my 2nd spoiler above when checking from work today but can't now that I am home. WTH?

question:
Is it my turn or the cultist's turn?

male half elf level 1 ranger(horselord)/summoner level 2 cavailer/druid level 3 ranger(horselord) /cleric level 4 fighter(mounted fury)/bard level 5 gunslinger/rouge(scout) level 6 cavalier/summoner level 7 ranger/ summoner

It is not my turn as I cannot really do anything.

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Uriel

Spoiler:
i would believe so, you probably get a second check though

Caelash, i think its your turn

Sprocket, flanking, attacks the cultist.
Bite 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 2 = 24; damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Caelash moves forward 40 feet to some sort of cover, then fires a shot at the cultist.

Stealth 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19 (In order to catch cultist unaware and target its flat-footed AC)

(Caelash is now 100 feet away.)

Attack 1d20 + 10 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 10 - 4 = 20; damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

The cultist turns its attention at the eidolon and attacks
The cultist now unleashes his furry on Ian
slam 1
to hit
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
to wound
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (6, 2) + 5 = 13

slam 2
to hit
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
to wound
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 5) + 5 = 17

tongue attack
to hit
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
if it hits roll a fort save

Uriel your turn

Which, if any of those, attacks was against my eidolon?

GM:
And why does he keep unleashing his furry? (Furry is a texture or a deviant sexual fetish, fury is rage/anger/ferociousness/etc.

male half elf level 1 ranger(horselord)/summoner level 2 cavailer/druid level 3 ranger(horselord) /cleric level 4 fighter(mounted fury)/bard level 5 gunslinger/rouge(scout) level 6 cavalier/summoner level 7 ranger/ summoner

I think it migth be a typo that got copy pasted from last round.

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

1 attack against Ian, 1 slam and tongue against eidolon, and as Ian said, copy paste typo... -_-

Sprocket's Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Right unless Sprocket is immune to paralysed he is paralyzed for 1d4 ⇒ 3 minutes

The glowing form of white fire that is Uriel continues to attack.

mechanics:

full attack

first attack
attack 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
confirmation on a natural 18-20
attack 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

second attack
attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
confirmation on a natural 18-20
attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

smite still in effect, bypassing all DR
will change back at the beginning of his next turn

Caelash pulls out a scroll and incants, disappearing from the field. Use scroll of vanish (invisible for 6 rounds) and takes a 5-foot step forward. Now 95 feet away.

Spoiler:

From ulgulanoth's earlier post I am going to assume, unless told otherwise, I get a second save when I revert to 1/2 orc form immediately prior to my next turn.

I will go ahead and roll that now so that ulgulanoth can let me know whether or not Uriel succeeded when my turn starts and plan accordingly. Such as selective channeling if paralyzed... Or if the decision is made that he is reparalyzed without being given a save, we won't waste time waiting on me to go.

Fortitude save 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

Uriel

Spoiler:
alright you pass the save, so you won't be paralyzed

The cultists screams in pain, and attacks Uriel again
slam 1
to hit
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
to wound
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 2) + 5 = 14

slam 2
to hit
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
to wound
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (5, 7) + 5 = 17

tongue attack
to hit
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
if it hits roll a fort save

Uriel your turn

Uriel focuses his pain into a wrath he turns upon his enemy as he continues to strike with his scimitar.

mechanics:

swift action: Ranger (Guide) Focus 1/day: Swift action to choose focus target and it remains so until reduced to 0 or fewer hit points or Uriel changes focus. Gains +2 to attack and damage against target.

Paladin Smite Evil is still in effect giving bonuses and bypassing damage reduction

full attack

first attack
attack 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24
damage 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
critical confirmation on a natural 18-20
attack 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
damage 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

second attack
attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
damage 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
critical confirmation on a natural 18-20
attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
damage 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Uriel takes a five foot step if need be to ensure that he will have flanking if and when Caelash arrives.

Of course, the half-orc might go down next round. :(

Caelash's turn:

Caelash double moves until he is 20 feet away, still invisible, bow in hand. If possible, Caelash also takes cover behing any foliage, trees, rocks, whatever he can at this distance.

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

The cultist falls to the ground, apparenlty dead, its tongue twitching ever so slightly

Uriel repeatedly strikes the cultist with his scimitar, being careful to watch for anything that might crawl out of the cultist's body.

Do I need to roll?

Caelash waits until the last moment before his spell's invisiblity wears off, then shoots it twice. Bow flurry, plus sneak attack on both. Let me know if rolls are needed.

"Better to be safe than sorry."

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

No rolls needed, now you have a mush ex-cultist

male half elf level 1 ranger(horselord)/summoner level 2 cavailer/druid level 3 ranger(horselord) /cleric level 4 fighter(mounted fury)/bard level 5 gunslinger/rouge(scout) level 6 cavalier/summoner level 7 ranger/ summoner

Am I not paralyzed yet

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

well yes, though if they wait long enough the paralyzis will wear off

Uriel begins looking over what wounds Ian may have so as to best use his dwindling healing powers.

Don't worry friend. You will be free soon.

Uriel is hurt pretty good, down to 29 out of 72. How much is Ian down? I plan on Uriel saving (for now) his last channel in case it is needed in battle but he still has thee lay on hands (1d6) and four first oracle level spells (cure light wounds) and he can use two first level bard spells (cure light wounds) but better not when not in full plate armor...

male half elf level 1 ranger(horselord)/summoner level 2 cavailer/druid level 3 ranger(horselord) /cleric level 4 fighter(mounted fury)/bard level 5 gunslinger/rouge(scout) level 6 cavalier/summoner level 7 ranger/ summoner

I have 4 channels left and am down to 30 from 60 I also have a wand of cure light wounds with 47 charges left on it.

I'm good on HP. I also have 9 potions of cure light wounds and 6 scrolls of cure light wounds.

While guarding his still paralyzed friends, Uriel uses his powers of healing upon himself.

casts two cure light wounds 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Cheliax

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

So, what do you guys want to do now?

"They were dragging a pretty heavy stone, over sand. Can we track them?"

I am going to assume that everyone (Ian and the eidolon) have regained the ability to move. I saved Uriel's last channel in case needed in battle. Do we want Uriel to use up his remaining healing, channel and spells? Have Ian use some of his channels to heal multiple members at the same time (Ian, Sprocket, and Uriel) and go from there? All the above? something else?

I agree. Perhaps following the trail will lead us to their starting point and possibly some important information. Or, perhaps we should heal more before going forward? How much time remaining til the expected arrival of the others?

Don't worry about Sprocket. If he dies, he can come back in 24 hours. He's just a convenient extraplanar distraction.

male half elf level 1 ranger(horselord)/summoner level 2 cavailer/druid level 3 ranger(horselord) /cleric level 4 fighter(mounted fury)/bard level 5 gunslinger/rouge(scout) level 6 cavalier/summoner level 7 ranger/ summoner

Ian will use three uses of the wand on himself.

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Uriel uses the last of his daily healing surges on the group.

channel 2d6 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2

@ Caelash, I wasn't sure if you were able to dump your damage on Sprocket in which case him having more could help you. Uriel has a level but I am not very familiar with the rules.
