At the mention of the Darksiders her face pales, her voice elevated and in elven she rushes, "We have to get out of here, they want me dead!"
she struggles to stand and responds to Zoey's offer with a dismissive wave of her hand.

But she slumps back down, without the strength to escape.
"Please, you have to help me escape." she pleads.

The effect doesn't cause the same nasuea as it did the first time, but the results are the same. As you remove it you shift back to your normal form, but replacing it causes the same transformation to the same form. An inspection of the magic of the armlet shows that it is still unstable but will likely produce the same result for 24 hours.
Fear and defiance spark in her eyes as you immobilize her, she nearly spits the words.

Stepehn will translate to elven what was said

She hesitates a bit, "I didn't want to be stuck on the dark side of a ring all my life, the Tunnel Wolves rule the the cross connectors and go where they please. I don't know how tough the Darksiders are. The Master... everyone follows his will. He occupies the first ring and controls most of the food."
assuming translation in regular circumstances so no point in spoilering it now that it has been established heh

She makes it to her feet this time but glares at Stephen with unmasked dislike, "The Master needs no gang and no one would dare risk his anger. I went into the Tunnel Wolves turf to meet them, but instead of accepting me they sold me as a slave to the Master! I've been his 'slave' for two years and the only reason they are getting rid of me now is because I'm too damn stubborn to be used like that."
Zoey Baristan |
"Well, don't worry. I'm sure we'll all come up with something."
Once on the roof, Zoey asks, "So, Luthor, which way looks the easiest for us all to travel up here. Remeber, not all of us are expert climbers and jumpers."
Luthor Rowe |
Luthor looked up from his perch as the others reached the roof, sparing an acknowledging nod in their direction before looking back at the streets below. His voice drifted over his shoulder. "The alleys are narrow, should be easily jumped with a good running start, although I suppose there is always a chance of failure." He went quiet a moment. "Either way, our new companion isnt in a state to attempt it, so I think our best course of action is to return to street level. Do we chance the stairs or climb down the sides aided by rope?" He turned around to look at everyone. "So far no activity below, if we take the stairs, make the decision now and lets make haste."
He turned back to his guard post. "Whatever you decide, I will remain here till you are below, then join you
Luthor Rowe |
"Very well." Luthor said with a nod, before running across the roof and effortlessly leaping to the next building. Perching on the edge, he continued to watch the street, whilst saying ready to catch anyone who might fall.

Im not personally liking the odds here im afraid. We are at the two week mark, which in my experience means stone dead...Gonna keep checking in though, heres hoping.

After an hour of travel you find yourselves at an odd sight, you have reached the edge of the ring. A hard 90 degree shift lies below you on ground level. Torres grins a little, " If we head down onto the ringside, we leave darksider territory. Don't know who runs that turf at the moment but at least they won't be actively looking for me. I'm going, you are welcome to come with. I do appreciate that you didn't just off me, or turn me over to them." she begins climbing down.
Luthor Rowe |
"It saddens me that you had given consideration to us doing such a thing." Luthor said, his face failing to properly convey his sencerity, looking more glum than sad. "I suppose it is an inevitable fact of life, no matter where one might go, there will be those of a disposition towards such acts of wanton cruelty." He straightened his face back into its usual blank mask, failing to produce the sagely smile he was thinking about. "But I can assure you, none of us shall seek to harm you."
As she started to climb, he made to follow. "I believe our best course of action is to continue to keep you company Lady Torres. For the time being you may well be our best chance at surviving in this place." He looked at the others, as usual scanning their faces for concent or disagreement with what he had said.

As you move over the edge you find an odd sight. A series of metal walkways line the side of the ring. Many doorways lead into it's surface. The ring itself seems to be at least 20 stories thick. A number of building like protuberances are accessed by hatches on the "roof" that allow you to climb down into them.
Luthor Rowe |
Was kinda waiting for someone else to take action, but guess ill get things rolling again.
Looking over the edge, Luthor frowned. "A deadly climb." He said, before getting his rope out. "Let us descend over one of these housing protrusions, and enter. Hopefully once inside it will be possible to take stairs to where we need to go."
DM Avian Aloft |
The stairs and walkways are accessible from here, basically think catwalks and fire escapes but sturdier as they were expecting plenty of traffic
Your new friend moves quickly down, avoiding the buildings. She stops about halfway and thats when you notice something odd. The entire center of the ring seems to ringed with a sort of cage. As she enters she seems to float. Grabbing onto the side she flips herself upside down and pushes herself "down" As she exits the cage on the other side she now seems to be standing upside down. She looks back "up" at you, "Well, come on. The light side is much more hospitable."
Luthor Rowe |
Luthor quickly followed, eyebrows raised in a mixture of bemusement and surprise at the spectacle. "It would seem so Cassandra." He said as he flipped himself upside down. "It certainly looks to be reversed."
