I'd like to re output Kanthuun now that I have Hero Lab--there are some wonkinesses with him. He really isn't optimized, I've realized, in a few ways. Would you be amenable to spell swaps or anything like that?

Petrova gets her first level of Shadow Dancer. Other than a single point boost to reflex save and Hide in Plain Sight, she is unchanged. Granted, Hide in Plain Sight is a super cool ability (also known as the "Generate several dozen vitriolic messageboard argument threads of constant bickering, whining, and utter foolishness" ability).
Hey Kanthuun, do you have your revised spell list yet? I want to make sure we're complementing each other / not overlapping or being redundant. I can pick up two level 2 spells, I think pyrotechnics would be a good one. Are you getting a level 3 now? If so, may I humbly request haste?

Haste would be awesome. No, I haven't had time to rejigger the ol' Sorcerer of Chaos. I've noticed that my buffs don't happen in time, and that I have mind-affecting spells--which I think petitioners and other thingies are immune too. I don't want to metagame too much, but I don't want to be, y'know, useless. ;0
Awww, you're not useless duder. Just think, we can go fill up that bar with a web then we can set it on fire and kill anyone who manages to make it out. Afterwards, we search the rubble. I do wonder if sleep would work on a petitioner.
Sorry for the delay, I was busy yesterday. It was odd and unexpected.
For levelling, Arasmes is gonna grab Outflank as a a Teamwork Feat, take average HP, really improve his Bluff, get the Human Favored Class bonus, and thus get one each 1st and 2nd level spell known.
As for what spells? I'm not entirely sure. I'm considering Invisibility (because being sneaky is good), Acute Senses (but so's +10 to Perception), and See Invisibility (since Drovya's Glitterdust is our only anti-invisibility measure at the moment) for 2nd level. For 1st level, I'm thinking Deadeye's Lore, since I'm apparently our designated tracker.
And on Kanthuun, I'll note that actually, Petitioners are some of the only things that are immune to Mind-Effecting stuff in this level-range. Daemons, for example, certainly aren't. Sleep's probably a bad call, as mentioned, though.
You're actually doing it, now. I'm also processing Voomer's sheet. Well, methodically. I'm pretty busy, but I won't blink out on you now. I'd be quite the hypocrite to not give you guys a window, as well.

Hi all. Voomer here. I think the GM has approved my character, at least in the broad strokes, so I'll go ahead and enter the discussion under my character’s alias. Rohini Soni is a level six cleric of Desna. She's Vudrani and (as would presumably gradually become clear to your characters) a Changeling. Her backstory is in her profile. She would probably reveal little of it to your characters (at least for awhile), but feel free to take a read if you like.
As for her build, she is very much focused on being a healer and a buffer. 8 times a day she can channel for 3d6 (and she has the selective channeling feat, of course), and 8 times a day she can touch an ally to give them luck ("you can touch a willing creature as a standard action, giving it a bit of luck. For the next round, any time the target rolls a d20, he may roll twice and take the more favorable result").
I may not have her spell selection optimized, so if someone has favorite clerical spells (levels 1-3 for now), let me know and I'll consider revising my spell selection.
Rohini Soni is likely to be of very little use in melee, but my understanding is that is pretty well covered in this party.
Hey Rohini, welcome! Great back story, definitely looking forward to meeting your character. I especially like the tie in to Hags. I've been wondering if we will run into any of those.
As far as spells go, the great thing about clerics is that you get access to so many. I'm usually a fan of bless, protection from evil, circles of protection, prayer, remove fear, restoration, shield other, etc. Summon Monster will probably be pretty good too, especially celestial critters with smite. My only suggestion is to never prepare a cure spell, as you can always convert to them.
Anyway, you asked. And again, welcome, glad to have you.

Thanks for the welcome and the suggestions! Yes, one thing nice about the class is that I don't have to worry about forever committing myself to a certain set of spells. I'll give some thought to some of those you mention (to the extent I don't have them yet), and I'll definitely be adjusting things as we go along.
I am still always timid about introducing new characters, though Rohini is ready. Between that and the mound of university homework I have, I can only promise I'll post sometime today.

Oh, if that was a full time job, I would be bathing in a tub of champagne. No, a university admin job--gotta pay the bills. Film music, yes, I have some gigs to take care of, but they don't pay much.

My pals who are full time composers are doing well. They are few and far between, though--it's like actors. There are plenty in L.A., but most are actually waiters.

Make that three parents! I have two kids -- an 8 year old and an almost 5 year old. I've actually got a Pathfinder game going with my 8 year old son and 3 of his friends. It is pretty chaotic, but we're playing with the real full rules (obviously it is pretty combat heavy play). We played yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. The party is traveling down the Andoshen river in Andoran, headed towards the city of Almas. I'm trying to see when my 5 year old daughter is ready to join...
Cool beans. Do you guys want to talk spell selection as well? If this Vulnadaemon has mastery over lightning, we will probably need some protection from that. Fortunately, Communal Resist Energy (from Ultimate Combat) is a 3rd level cleric spell, so if Rohini can prep one of those to throw up when we get into that fight, it should be awesome.
What else do you guys think we should focus on, spell wise?
Oh, and Psychicmachinery, it's just as easy to get ahold of me here as it is on my email.
XDD I can't believe I just noticed this.
Or I noticed before, and forgot.
