Has anyone seen or heard from Farid/Dennis? With my stepped-up Abandoned Arts release schedule, I can barely afford the time to run the PBP activities that I do. I really can't afford to run missing PCs.

Okay, so... before I ask for a volunteer to run Farid for however long we're going to give him and/or the remainder of the combat... can I get I simple "still here" post from everyone who is still both present and interested?

Yeah, I've noticed several people dropping off the PbP grid in the last week as well, which I assume is Sandy-related.

Still, that leaves Schrim and Seamus to declare interest, and we're going on 4 days, now. Let's give it the weekend.

Alright, well that's just shy of a week with no input from 1/3 of our players. Oterisk has been active lately and is just not responding to the thread; not sure about Jonasty.

Let me start collecting opinions as to what to do. Thoughts?

Maybe the new posts arent showing up? I had to redot a few threads after the big maintenance day last week. Have you tried sending them a PM?

Hey, I'm still here. This has been fun so far. I think things will keep going as long as a few of us and the GM are up for it.

Should one of us just post for Jelani till he gets back? At least until this section of the plot is settled anyway.

He hasnt posted at all in over 3 weeks now.

I'd rather post for him than lose him, at least right now, because several of us already need healing and the fight ain't even over yet.

So any word on what's happening with Jelani or what the DM's thoughts are?

1.) Sorry for my absence on Friday; that's a big Abandoned Arts day and I'm also getting ready to move.

2.) I'll be out of commission Thursday, Friday, and then next Monday and Tuesday. Moving!

3.) Jelani has proved unreachable. I'll need a volunteer to NPC him until he can be written out properly.

Provided his info is available, I'll do it. Don't expect a lot of conversation out of him though.

Based on the map there are no longer any foes threatening Farid just the creature in the hallway battling the rest of the group correct?

Yep, that's about it that we know of. We could use a little more strength to finish him off I think, I have trouble getting through the DR.

who's the most injured right now and most in need of Jelani's Cure spell? Then we clear the upstairs right?

Syndir is pretty much unhurt and will probably be full up after Jelani's last Channel Energy.

on a side note I realized looking back that with Snake Style Syndir shouldve been making AoO for each miss the monk made. D'oh! Will work very hard to no let that happen any more.

I wouldn't want it even if was going to heal me. The cool thing is that channeling positive to heal can't hurt me too.

I'm kinda waiting on some sort of response from Kamlann, but if we just want to forge ahead that would be fine to I guess.

While we are holding, Garden tool, can you tell me what I might know of this place or send me a PM or something?

Farid is down to 4 HP and he looks ripped up for sure. Not sure about Seamus and Kamlann. I think we should hold the second Channel Energy for now till we know the entire place is secure. Farid would not object to a cure light though!

Sad news, folks.

First, I'm sorry for my absence these past three days or so. My day job workplace has just SERIOUSLY cracked down on internet use in the workplace, and maintaining these threads during the week is going to become an impossibility.

I must, regrettably, resign my GM's hat. You guys have been a great bunch of players, and I feel pretty terrible about having to cancel.

If anyone wants to step up and take over the campaign, I'll figure out what I need to do - just let me know.

That is too bad Garden Tool. Let us know if circumstances change, in the meantime good luck with your side endeavor! One day when I get a chance to breathe I will download those guides from Paizo, although with my first child coming I might have a lot less time, guess I will find out soon.

That's too bad. I was a newcomer, but I did enjoy what I was getting into. I would take over, but I find that I really don't enjoy DMing. Not to mention I don't have the time either. We were really getting a good story going too. Oh well.

That's the nature of PBP's I suppose. I wish you all very well, and a Merry Christmas for those who celebrate such things.
