Note to Amarant and other PCs, since Amarant brought it up: You all can decide for yourselves individually how long you were in the earth before the necromancer revived you. In other words, your level of personal decomposition - whether or not you have eyebrows or if they rotted off, for example - is up to you to decide.

For reference: if you got the pine-box treatment, it could be as much as 50 years.

Two bonds I am considering:

1. Ganzorig is disadvantaged by his misfortune. I will do what I can to mitigate this disadvantage.

2. Thra'raxes is used to being led, I will guide him as he learns how to think for himself

no, Astre doesn't have a savoir complex, why do you ask?

So far, I'm liking:

1. Astre can't see the forest through the trees, I'll have to look out for them.

2. I only tolerate Amarant because he can communicate with me.

3. Those hands of Astre's are giving me ideas. I'll have to find reasons to spend more time with them.

4. I've never felt more like kindling than when I'm around Maude. She'll have to walk.

You think you could phrase that second bond a little more suggestively?

but I'm cool with those bonds.

What would I roll to prove my worth with a gravestone?

Sounds like a Strength roll to me. Strictly speaking, a Defy Danger roll using Strength. Let's see how you do!

I'm amused that both Thra and Amarant have practically the same stats.

For the record, 200-250 is basically elf 16, if that helps with peoples image of Astre at all

So, is Zom-Astre on the tail end of elven puberty, or was Astre a tween when they met their star-crossed lover? *rimshot*

I need to know exactly how to feel about my double entendres.

You're either going to be best friends or mortal enemies. I see a very tsundere relationship growing between the two of you, assuming neither of you is killed first.

I suspect a mutual respect will emerge, but it will be rocky at first.

Astre is in his late (ish) teens, considered old enough to make his own decisions (like running off with a pretty mayfly face), but not really old enough to not be a fumbling ball of awkward and confused (now with extra magic!)

hello?

Getting out of the hospital tonight, posting tomorrow :) Nothing serious, don't worry

GM dropped the H-Bomb!

Take your time GM, get yourself well before you worry about us rabble.

Ya no worries

Poke?

Looks like my "new" notifications on my campaign page aren't working...

Ditto. Most irritating.

We seem to have stalled.

Maude is all ready to head to the wizards tower, what is everyone else thinking?

Amarant's still aiming to take a trip to Oronod for a few things. Now that Ganzorig's brought it up, he's not planning to take a trip without...provisions...before he knows he doesn't need them.

That, and I want to see what misfortune that miss of mine will bring.

Astre would liek to get the magic items, and then head for the wizards tower.

also, last bond: Maude is a delightful young lady... I will endeavor to spend more time in her company. if that is okay.

OK, Maude's three bonds:

Mr Raxes thinks I need his help with everything, I'll show him how capable I am.

Ganzorig rightly fears what my fire can destroy. I shall show show him how narrow his imagination is.

Astre knows real magic, they could teach me to be a wizard.

How do they look?

m Revenant Ranger lvl1.00 | HP:20/20 | Dmg:d8 | AC:1 | DEX+2 | WIS+1 | STR+1 | CON±0 | INT±0 | CHA-1

Love it. It's gonna end with Maude convincing Ganzorig to send his flaming cart over a cliff to save the party from a mob of angry villagers. I can see it now.

Hmm. I've been forgetting to do my bonds.

Maude's a damn pile of pretentiousness, and I need to beat that out of her.

Ganz is only one here I like. I've got his back before anyone else's.

Rashes is just a yapping mutt, and I'll be more than happy to muzzle him.

Rashes lives for the leash, and as long that's true he'll have no respect from me.

That's what comes to mind so far.

I feel like Astre got off easy, not getting a bond with Amarant

I'm sorry again for not updating regularly last week - that ends now!

Regular updates resuming as of today!

For those who may be interested, I'm looking for a few players to fill out the third act of my narrative-heavy Magical Girl game found here.

This last arc should be about six months to a year of weekly+ posts.
