Once up Mic goes though a bit of stretching envious of Jack's ability to get up and go more quickly. I guess that is the advantage of relying on weapons.

She heads out towards the armor-smith she occasionally does work for and keeps her ears open. Those she knows she asks about any unusual activity in the city that might be of interest.

At first Jack hears two women talking with each other. "Shame they closed down the opera house—I was looking forward to seeing Shensen in the role of Aolar in Huntress of Heroes. Of course, they say she’s gone missing too—wouldn’t surprise me if she got herself thrown in some Thrune oubliette, the way she’s gone on about the government."

As he comes through the temple destrict he overhears a pair of priests discussion a friend. "It’s true! My friend spotted a dragon wheeling about in the sky last night in front of the full moon!"

Micheria also has some luck in tracking down news around town and she gets this little bit of infomation from her armor-smith friend. "Hell of a few last days here in town, I don't really have anything needing your help today. But do take care traveling alone at night in Redroof or Temple Hill Mic. The gangs there are getting restless, and they say the Red Jills’ boss has gone some sort of crazy, it would be hard in these times to loose a good friend."

Music monsters?...well musically inclined bipedal lizardman monsters in the sewer? Sounds like someone to talk to... if well they can talk.

She wondered to herself making a slight face at her tea...without mint. It was really depressing not having mint. She found herself sitting there for more than a few moments wondering where the logic even was in outlawing mint.

Mic knows The Red Jills a collective of thugs who specialize in muggings, theft, and generalized bullying, the small band of thieves has eluded the law for years thanks to a combination of luck, secrecy, and maintenance of a small enough membership that Kintargo never felt the need to bring the full force of its dottari down on it.

Jack also has a bit of history about the devil's nursery The slums of the Devil’s Nursery earned their nickname from the large number of tiefling immigrants who have joined Kintargo’s ranks over the past 60 years. Crowded into leaning tenements and shanties along Redroof ’s southern wall, few non-tieflings travel into these slums, and rumors now claim that diabolists, erinyes, and imps rule the filthy streets.

Rest of the rolls are to low to add anything new to these infomations.

The first thing Meliora did that morning was sell the party's loot. After that, she dragged the gold back to the base before taking far too long trying to figure out how to split it, running into an issue, and then trying to figure it out again. After she finally figured that out, she took part of her own share of things to track down a recent graduate 1st level wizard from her alma mater the Thrice Damned House of Learning to copy Identify out of his book, at a total cost of 15 gp. With all the adventuring the party would be doing, it seemed right.

After this, she headed back to the base again to collapse on her tiny workdesk and bang her head against the scribblings of her earlier accounting.

"Just avoid higher math, I said. You can just make two and two be five, I said. Ugh... I hate you, past me."

Her day has not been the most productive on earth.

Although Jack's more at home in other sections of Redroof district, he's at least heard bits and pieces about the Devil's Nursery...the main point being that humans don't venture there after dark (if at all). Still, he realizes the opportunity here: Kintargo's tiefling population will have no love for House Thrune, and if the party can build trust with them, some strong allies might be added.

Following Mic's lead, Jack orders some food and drink and quietly asks the barkeep what if anything he knows about the recent murders. Jack tells the barkeep that he's a fellow Redroofer and suggests that all folk from that district--be they human or tiefling--might want to start watching each other's backs with the current state of the city. He also adds that his friends have a wide array of talents and are highly qualified to investigate the killings and bring the murderer to justice.
