With her greataxe in hand and without a way to attack from a distance, Eri simply moves into the room and out of the way of others.

Move to P5

♂ | HP: 45/45 | AC: 17 | Acr +7, Ath +2, Nat +3, Per +5, Ste +7, Sur +5|Saves: S2*, D7*, C2, I0, W2, Ch0 | Init +4 | PP: 15 | Spd: 35' | Insp: No | HD: 5/5 | Spell DC: 13 | Spells: (4/4) | Status: Madness (Lvl 2)

Right. Surprise round. My attack needs to be a charge, otherwise I'll just move in.

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

Ravanalonna moves into the room, sticking to the wall as she circles the fight, hoping to get into a position to use her flames without harming her companions.

Cyrus, I'll let you keep that attack roll for your first turn. If you want to make it a full attack, feel free.

Just need Caliban's action, and we'll continue.

Outsider (Phantom) HP: 34/34; AC: 18, Touch: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +2, Ref: +5, Will: +3, Initiative: +2, Perception: +6

Caliban moves in to engage one of the cobras.

Q7.

As everyone moved into position, Ruedo's telekinetic arrow struck its target. However, it just dented the armor and did little significant damage.

Round 1:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

Sansetsukon: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Cyrus continues to attack with the three pole staff searching for any weakness in the constructs design.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Is that your second attack? Or full attack or whatever it's called? Cuz he said you could keep that first roll for your attack this round? Oh...I don't know, I think I confused. I started falling asleep on the couch so I'm fuzzy now.

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Ohhhhh....never mind....I need sleep.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Not knowing anything about their enemy made it hard to know how to attack them, but since Eri was never much of a strategist anyways she just did what came naturally to her as she started to rage in her beastly form. Moving forward she comes to stand next to Cyrus as swings her greataxe with all her might at the shiny snakes.

Move to R5, raging 1/9 rounds, attack the Cobra in front of Cyrus

Chop: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Unused to the weight of the axe, her swing is about as effective as a fly swatter as she curses in frustration and braces herself for the attack that she is sure will be more effective than her own.

Okay...I need to make sure my AC is right. I just have leather armor so it probably is, but I want to make sure. Also I have a +1 to my AC while in beast form from natural armor bonus. Like that's gonna help much with her raging since she loses AC while raging. Is that right?

Ruedo flings another arrow, having no other recourse in this fight.

RT: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (18) - 4 = 14; Damage?: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

Moving to the corner of the room (U,9) Ravanalonna utters an incantation in infernal, a fan of flames spraying forward from her fingertips to envelop both serpents.

Burning Hands: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3

Yeah you gain + AC natural and -1 AC for raging so net AC is the same but your FF goes up one when raging

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Oh....okay. I'll try to remember that. I've been feeling like a real space cadet today.

Cyrus, I'm not entirely sure I made myself clear. I meant you can keep the first attack and use it as part of a Full-Attack in Round 1. Sorry. So, I'll take the two successful ones of the four.

Ravan, I'm going to put you at U8 so your spell actually hits both snakes but not Cy or Eri. Also, I need Caster Level roll.

The Pirates assault, while it did do damage, didn't do as much as one would think.

Despite being made of metal, the snake deftly dodged Eri's axe.

Ruedo managed to hit the same spot he did earlier, and this time, the dent punctured.

Round 1:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

GM:

C1 - 14
C2 - 6

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

CL check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 Crap

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

I'm telling you....these dice lately. *taking deep breath* It's gonna be okay...

Sorry.

Even though the serpents were wreathed in flame, it seemed to have no effect.

Simultaneously, the snakes opened their mouths and lunged forward at the Pirate and Skinwalker.

C1 vs Cyrus: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

C2 vs Eri: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

C2 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 Eri Fort DC 11

One of the snakes managed a successful and quite painful bite on Eri's arm.

Outsider (Phantom) HP: 34/34; AC: 18, Touch: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +2, Ref: +5, Will: +3, Initiative: +2, Perception: +6

Caliban steps into flanking with Cyrus and attacks the iron snake.

Slam: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 2 = 13; Unlikely Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Slam: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8; Probably Not: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

The Phantom's first strike bounced off the serpents hide, and his second was completely avoided.

Round 2:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

♂ | HP: 45/45 | AC: 17 | Acr +7, Ath +2, Nat +3, Per +5, Ste +7, Sur +5|Saves: S2*, D7*, C2, I0, W2, Ch0 | Init +4 | PP: 15 | Spd: 35' | Insp: No | HD: 5/5 | Spell DC: 13 | Spells: (4/4) | Status: Madness (Lvl 2)

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Cyrus attack the construct but his attacks prove ineffective.

Ruedo moves into the room and goes next to Eri, ready to heal if the battle goes poorly.

Move to Q5

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Oh please don't let me be poisoned: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Feeling the sting of the bite she lets out a loud yelp before trying yet another swing of her shiny new axe.

Please let me hit something: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

If that not quite so pathetic roll hit: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Crosses fingers

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

*shakes head and sighs*

Again, the cobra prove too evasive for Cyrus and Eri.

Round 2:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Yup, that about figures.

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

A look of focus and determination on the sorceress' face, Ravan sends out another jet of flame at the metal serpents.

CL check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Burning Hands: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3

Reflex C1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Reflex C2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

One cobra facing Cy and Eri managed to avoid most of the damage, but the one between the pirate and phantom could not. The heat from the Sorceress' fire melted some of its plating.

Coiling its head around, it looked at the woman that tried to burn it and lunged forward.

C2 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Fort DC 11

Meanwhile, the other attempted to bite Cyrus again.

C1 Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Round 2:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

GM:

C1 - 11 3/3
C2 - 5 1/3

Outsider (Phantom) HP: 34/34; AC: 18, Touch: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +2, Ref: +5, Will: +3, Initiative: +2, Perception: +6

Caliban keeps swinging at the metal snake between him and Cyrus.

Slam: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 2 = 14; Damage, maybe?: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Slam: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 2 = 19; Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Caliban once more failed to get a solid hit on the metallic beastie.

Round 3:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

GM:

C1 - 11 3/3
C2- 5 1/3

♂ | HP: 45/45 | AC: 17 | Acr +7, Ath +2, Nat +3, Per +5, Ste +7, Sur +5|Saves: S2*, D7*, C2, I0, W2, Ch0 | Init +4 | PP: 15 | Spd: 35' | Insp: No | HD: 5/5 | Spell DC: 13 | Spells: (4/4) | Status: Madness (Lvl 2)

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Cyrus sidesteps and sweeps his weapon at the snake attacking Ravan.

With one well placed strike, Cyrus caved in the serpents head. The cobra fell and convulsed briefly before lying still on the floor.

Round 3:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

GM:

C1 - 11 3/3

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Eri takes a step forward to flank with Caliban and tries swinging the axe once more at the snake.

Slice?: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

If that's a hit: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Eri grunts as she swings the heavy greataxe once again.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

You have GOT to be fracking kidding me!! Gggrrrr *frustrated sigh*

Again, the serpent proved too quick for Eri.

Round 3:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobras, Caliban

GM:

C1 - 11 3/3

Ruedo continues to wait.

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

Unable to use another jet of flame without burning the others, Ravanalonna hangs back.

The remaining cobra, after dodging the Skinwalker's axe, lunged forward.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

But Eri deftly shifted her weight, causing it to miss.

Round 3:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobra, Caliban

GM Notes:

C1 - 11 3/3

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Meant as an encouraging cheer, not bossing anyone around.

Angry at constantly being bitten at and still hurting from the previous bite she all but screams, "Smash it Caliban! Smash it's stupid face in!"

Outsider (Phantom) HP: 34/34; AC: 18, Touch: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +2, Ref: +5, Will: +3, Initiative: +2, Perception: +6

Still flanking with Eri, Caliban strikes again.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 2 = 10

Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 2 = 20; Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Caliban's strike glanced off the cobra's armor.

Round 4:
Cyrus, Eri, Ruedo, Ravan, Cobra, Caliban

GM Notes:

C1 - 11 3/3

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

"Awe man....gimmie a break! I'm so sick of this stupid thing already!" She says, sounding clearly frustrated. Raising the axe again she tries swinging at the slippery serpent once more. She just knew if she kept trying that eventually she would get the stupid thing.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Meh....

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Cyrus swings the staff around to the remaining cobra as Eri cleaves into it.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Hey...it takes time for a girl to get used to using toys. Hehe....hehe.

With the combined might of Eri and Cyrus, the cobra is destroyed.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Rubbing her arm she kicks the remains of the snake, "Well...now I guess we figure out what's next and move on? Stupid biting bastard. When it comes to biting, I want to be the one doing the biting, not getting bit. I don't like it." She says before going to lean against Ruedo as she breaths a little heavily from waving her heavy axe all over the place.

Outsider (Phantom) HP: 34/34; AC: 18, Touch: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +2, Ref: +5, Will: +3, Initiative: +2, Perception: +6

"That was less interesting than expected," Caliban says, looking around the room for anything of importance.
