I just wanted to say altough Rrruh might have suggested giving them warning we lived might had been a bad idea as the player its perfectly fine and should be fun. I hope this means we get to do some rooftop ambushing of thugs or somethign super sneaky and the like, I mean really our party is pretty set to be good in stealth situations.
Rrruh |
Heh also... if we are forming some sort of bird themed vigilante group someone has to be the stick in the mud butler or something :P
Krogge |
I think Krogge is right in the middle, he like the romanticized idea of the vigilante but would just as soon fix a problem with a silent arrow and be done with it.
DM Vayelan |
Krogge smiles as he remembers,Jack will pay us for this!, and he says "Jack will be happy to hear that we slew the wyrm and it is on the way to my cave"
I was referencing this thought Krogge had.
However, yes - it was Ergin Tock, owner of the Sitting Duck, who suggested he and his customers could pool together a bounty on the wyrm.DM Vayelan |
Additionally, I would rule that Artistry (Playwriting) would offer a +2 synergy bonus on Perform (Storytelling) if you took the time in advance to use Artistry to compose the story. However, since you are largely improvising the telling on the spot, you would not benefit from the synergy.

This seems like the perfect opportunity for the blue Corvus to make an appearance!

Crazy weekend.
Two things have occured, My long term relationship has dissolved in a messy fashion, and the manager at the place I work has passed away in a car accident. I'm defacto in charge now for the next few weeks until The regional director can arrange for us to have someone in charge.
What that means for you all folk is that for the next two weeks (or so) I will probably be too busy to post daily, but i will post when i can.
Once again Im terrible sorry, but I will get full speed again in a few weeks.
Krogge |
GM,
are we using standard crafting rules or the Alternative crafting rules?
Krogge |
Awesome! I’ll look over those tonight and should have krogges actions posted. Can I get a ruling on how much useable dark wood I have? I’d like to make a bow, a dagger, and I couple hand for myself but if I have leftovers I might a cane for Jack
DM Vayelan |
I will say that you brought back enough darkwood for a bow, a dagger hilt, and two axe handles. However, the dagger and axes would not gain an appreciable effect from being made of darkwood (other than the increased value) since they more rely on their metal components.
However, I am willing to allow a discount on crafting a masterwork axe or dagger due to the higher grade of materials. The bow would be automatically considered masterwork even though the Craft DC would be the same as a normal bow.
Krogge |
I’m fine with that, the handles area mostly for show on the axe and dagger and he’ll probably try to make them obsidian anyways. Definitely appreciative for the masterwork bow though!
Krogge |
I'm here too
Krogge |
not at all. I did the same thing haha.
EDIT: fwiw, he's actually fixing his hover drone.
Rrruh |
Picked up a terrible case of food poisoning, at the hospital getting IV's will be back up to posting Monday i hope Sorry >.<

Hey guys. I'm really sorry about the disappearing. I have to take 18 hours this semester to MAYBE be on time to graduate, and it's also possibly my last year, so I'm doing probably too much stuff on too of it. I never really got back into it after the boards all went crazy.
If you'll still have me, would it be possible to get a quick catch up on stuff?
Krogge |
Sorry about my absence the last few weeks. After moving into a new place it took almost 6 weeks to get our internet set up again so I am catching up on my pbp’s now.
Krogge |
Just got caught up. I see our candidate has been missing for almost 2 months so I can see how we might now win his election. I’m enjoying the campaign and the players though so I’d like to continue somehow if possible.
Is the red side having similar issues? If they’ve lost some players too maybe the games could merge somehow?
DM Vayelan |
Welcome back, Krogge.
I, too, want to continue the story very much.
The thought had occurred to me to suggest merging the two games, but I'm not sure how well that will work. On the Red Side game, we had one player vanish, and another character has not posted in quite some time even though the player is still active. (I am going to message them shortly).
My main worry is that merging the two games would leave us with too many characters to effectively manage in one game.
.....
In this game, I must admit that I am dismayed by Jack's disappearance. After the election arc, I had planned to pit the Blue Corvus against a murderer who borders upon being a supervillain.
Rrruh |
(Jack's Disapearance)It took a bit of the wind out of the sails to be sure. Is he npcable? I mean for the most part Rrruh is amusedly playing the role of sidekick or butler to the hero/crimefighter guy, That wouldnt really change too much if he was suddenly an NPC. I wasnt following allong with the other game So im not sure how it would merge.
Rrruh |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Also any chance we could get like a list of 'official' npc's.
Like I know there is Kreed, and a couple of the shop owners have been mentioned. There is a sheriff I believe. Like whom else is 'important' in town? Are there several merchants that arent part of the evil consortium or is it just company men? Is there a school for children? Are there families here, or is it a glorified lumber town much like in the wild west days of towns growing up aroundmines and disapearing when the mines went south?
Depending on those answers it would change what Rrruh would suggest.
Krogge |
FWIW I was not joking when I mentioned following in Jacks footsteps and becoming the Red Rook so doing a super villain campaign sounds amazing.
I agree with Rrruh though; It feels like Jack, and by extension, the Blue Corvus could become NPCs.
