Sorry for my absence, I've had some serious internet problems at my house.

Also I think Gilmork was waiting on Jaxom to ambush those clerics and wizards and how to do that.

In this case Gilmork could drop down when one or two are alone of the group, act like a werewolf as he attacks one of them and drives the other off with a snarl and an intimidate check.

Doing this a few times might indicate werewolves are targeting the mercenary spellcasters now and they get edgy as well.

I'm going to handwave Jaxom and Gilmork's stuff mostly because we are about to embark upon another Pathfinder module! LB1 The Tower of the Last Baron.

I think that Silas et al. are done in Almas and preparing to head back to Falcons Hollow to collect you guys, and then head to Piren's Bluff to meet with General Dakovya.

Also, make sure character sheets are straight as is loot before we start tomorrow morning.

How much money do we have after selling things off?

We did have quite a bit then we spent a fortune on payden. I assume we paid 10000g on the diamond plus 250g on the high priest plus 1000g on Saal.

I think we are all rather ahead of wbl so I'm not complaining.

Loot update: We sold 13822.5g worth of stuff, but we spent 11250g. So we raised 2572.5g. Split 5 ways that's 514.5g each. Silas owed the party 375g (for a scroll of explosive runes) this debt is now paid. I've updated the loot log:

Gilmork are you going to spend anything? I noticed these Bracers of Falcon’s Aim

The Bracers are quite nice Silas, but the competence bonuses don't stack with my current competence bonuses from my revelation or with your Inspire Courage.

Would suit me better, though it makes me look more creepy overall....

In Almas, yeah its well under the GP cap. And you guys were in Almas for at least a week, so yeah it was available.

I think Lucanor is focused on spending his coin on helping Falcon's Hallow. Building up the temple, helping the orphanage, and maybe even starting an academy or business that isn't under the consortium thumb. Obviously, that's on hold now

OK up to you but the game does assume you'll have a few more items than you do by now.

Handy when trying to figure out if a recruitment thread is worth joining.

Would it be metagaming to ask about alchemist's fire for disposing of the little rat bodies? Used to be one of Silas's favored toys.

Anyway if nothing else we know there's a lot of House Almir troops around.

I think it might be metagaming a little...but its acceptable. It isn't metagaming out of left field.

I wonder if we should rob the alchemist shop? If he does have gallons of the stuff that would cause horrendous casualties if used against the army.

Or maybe there is another way. Like if the guy though Silas was his best friend in the entire world who, out of the goodness of his heart, was going to pay MORE than the chelaxians for the stuff?

The party are all together in Pirens Bluff. This is a town near falcons hollow. The module is called the tower of the last baron.

Not much has happened yet, go post some actions :)

Slight update on the forum I talked about before Christmas. Well I've got something basic running on my lan using appengine / angularjs + indexeddb, oh and it works offline (can buffer up posts and deliver them later when you have a network connection). Realistically it's going to take a while before it's usable but I'll keep cracking at it when I get free time (sadly limited thanks to having a 2yr old kid).

One other thing I'm thinking about running a module here in the next month or two. Likely realm of the fell night queen + some modifications.

Don't run that one please......it's in my list to run for this campaign eventually.

Sorry guys, was going to post some actions last night, and then bam, I hit a wall at a ridiculously early time after an hour of the shivers. I think I caught something, but I'll try to get at least a few things in.

Gents what's happening to the post rate on this game? Are you still having fun? :)

I'm having fun, but I feel at the moment I'm in a very reactive situation. In game, my character doesn't know much about what's going on and doesn't have the background to make much proactive stances about the current plot.

I think that being swept up by forces beyond my control and understanding could be narratively rich, but would require there to be a sense of momentum that existed beyond our relative inaction.

Gilmork's internet connection had been acting bad, hence no posts for a couple of days now. Seems it's unpredictable currently.

I think Gilmork is still hitting the sack and sleeping at the inn after a night's out in the town snooping around. at dinner he'll act up.

Lots of RL stuff still peppering me, but also it kind of seems like any idea I've had or tried to go with has been put on hold. Robbery, Temple investigation, etc. It's my own fault to a large degree for a lack of input, but I do feel a bit lost on just WHAT Luc can do

Well, Lucanor could type which of those he'd like to put effort in and make rolls, right?

Seems a simple but plausible solution for when you're occupied.

So I guess that is the thing, Silas makes more than his fair share of party decisions. By discussing things rather than posting actions I'm trying to be a bit more inclusive but it doesn't seem to be working :(

I don't mind Silas making all the decisions, its the other players that should chime in on that. However, I do feel the need to remind people that even if you feel your character doesn't have an action to take, please still make a post.

Jaxom did a great job of this earlier when he posted something to the effect of "Jaxom doesn't really understand what these silly mudmen are blathering about, oh look pretty flowers"

Daily posting is CRUCIAL to the success of a game, at least in my opinion.

If you aren't feeling the game anymore or just don't feel like posting anymore let me know please.

Understandable, but the big social checks are your expertise, i only get a +1 on CHA checks.

Right, I don't expect people to suddenly spec into diplomacy :) That said, Diplomacy aid another is a thing and your 2cents might make the difference...

Maybe a rank if it would've been a class skill, but fighters get a puny amount of skill points as it is.

Okay, apologies for being inactive and indescive this one... I'm hoping to correct that by having Lucanor double check the alchemist's shop by stealth.

Despite the recent events, i still got to say that was awesome. Blowing up an explosives depot to sabotage the baron.

Well, I really have to admit the dice did not like me there. Worst timing for bad rolls, but at least when Lucanor screws up it's spectacular
