Okay so I think we've given this enough of a shot that I'm going to make my selections now.
Will the following characters join me in the discussion thread(once I get it posted):
Xzanphia Shadowbreeze
Finik Derakht
Titania Evangeline Snow-fell
Elannic
Brakksed CleftCutter
Thank you for everyone else that applied and keep your eyes posted because I might have other games up later...thinking about running more stuff.
Brakksed, Elannic, Titania, Finik, and Xzanphia please join me in the discussion thread.

Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for picking Brakksed, but I need to give up the spot.
Family stuff hit over the weekend and I know I'll be biting off more than I can chew in the next few months by starting up a new game. I don't want to slow the group down at the outset.
Still hope to jump into another of your games, though.
Thanks.

Our group is in desperate need of a cleric. Anyone interested can apply here with a general build. Build rules can be found below and I'll be making my pick probably tomorrow night. We're currently level 1 and the player picked will need a little bit of working into the story line so we might have to trade some PM's once my selection is made.
20 point buy
Core races only
Classes and archetypes from: Core, APG, UC, UM, or the inner sea guide will be accepted.
Other class features in the other books published by paizo will be considered but will need DM approval.
NO third party material will be accepted.
No evil characters please
max hit points at first level
Average starting wealth by class
2 traits
hero points will be used
Darien Coldwater |
I would like to present Darien Coldwater, human cleric of Milani. He is a straight cleric build, and I believe he fits your build criteria. No problem changing character details to fit into the story.
Darien was in a campaign that has gone inactive, and I would enjoy a chance to play him again.
Thank you for your consideration.

I've played this once, but it was a long time ago. Hopefully that won't disqualify me as my memory is hardly stellar to begin with ;)
IIRC though, there is a small temple to Iomedae there that is having trouble getting acceptance. I hope that's right, because it gave me the hook I needed to think of why a cleric might be heading there.
Anyway, for your perusal, I present Radus Knox, Half Orc cleric of Iomedae

Radus was a kicking and screaming urchin when the priests of Iomedae found him on the streets of Almas. Half savage, there was really no idea who the mother was. Few could completely blame the unknown woman for being ashamed or deserting her baby as no doubt the half orc was born of rapine, as most are. Two priests of the Inheritor noticed him when he was bullying human boys smaller than him and taking their food.
Rather than just punish the boy, they took him into the temple's keeping to provide a home and a name: Radus. Hard lessons were drummed into the lad, but as he got older, and his trust grew, he started to learn them. That might without right was a waste and that one should try to be trustworthy, bold and true. It wasn't easy, Radus still had a temper, but he was cured of bullying, and even grew to love the goddess. Eventually, he devoted his adult life to her and became a priest. When one of the very priests who had saved him from the street passed of old age, Radus took the childless man's surname as his own, to honor his memory and by means of belated thanks.
.......
"Brother Radus?" the young cleric's superior in the temple of Almas spoke out.
"Yes, Sword?" Radus tried to restrain his eagerness.
"This temple has seen you grow, and prosper into a fine young cleric. The time has come for you to aid the children of the Church further out in the land."
"Sir?" Radus was surprised. Somehow, with all its people, he thoght that he would be staying in the great city of Almas. Admitedly, some seemed surprised to find themselves facing a cleric of orc blood. Even in the land of liberty, old prejudices could die hard.
"The temple in the small hamlet of Falcon's Hollow has sent a request for aid. It would appear the locals are ..resistant and even fearful of the teachings of the goddess there. The church has its toehold, but it is not popular. It is hoped that new blood might help sway them by deed."
Radus took a deep breath, "Far be it from me to...complain, sir, but am I the right man to 'win' any worshipers over? I can't picture half orcs being welcome."
"Actually, if reports are correct, those with orc blood are not a rarity in the Hollow, Brother Knox. Go north, my child, to the ends of Andoran. Serve the temple there, the people, and the goddess. Find those who care for it as well if you need more allies. Go with the goddess' grace." his superior drew his sword.
Radus put his tusked mouth to the sword hilt, kissing it as some might kiss the hem of a holy man's robe, then withdrew, "As the church commands. I go."
I only hope, he thought to himself, that I do not fail the people of this town I have never met.
If accepted I can make a new alias for him pdq
