The gist of it is influencing the crowd, which gains you bonuses. There are a number of ways to influence the crowd ranging from performance checks to critting.

if you don't want to, that's fine, just thought it might spice things up a bit.

Btw, Paizo has recently errata'd the brawling enhancement for armors from +1 to +3, which obviously puts it out of my reach (it's a +4 armor...). How do you wish to deal with that issue? We should probably solve this before going too far in the fight.
